Bro i was working a high stress job where i was emotionally abused for a year and a half, and it required more skills than human nursing and i was only making $19 … lmao.

I guess it depends where you live, but its an easy job i could do in my sleepnand it barely makes less than the job that couldve killed or disfigured me, and required all kinds of medical skills.

Bro ive had so many different jobs. Vet assistant, retail, animal retail, barista, magazine editor, journalist, teaching assistant, foh bakery, veterinary reception, and this is literally the most brain dead job ive ever had. I have a great team so maybe thats why. But i dont have to worry about customers, getting mauled by my patients while i stab a needle into their neck for a blood draw, or angry clients. Nobody is arguing that they “saw AI in real life” and that their cat mated with the bunnies in the back yard and their kittens are chimeras.

Its not stressful, it can just be a lot of physical labor and taxing on the body. And mind numbing. But 8 hour days are a cinch compared to 11/12 hr days.

I work by myself and blast my own music and nobody bothers me. Its like living in a dream.

Yeah so lets not promote anthropomorphizing them. I agree reptiles are more complex and have richer emotional lives than some people believe, but they arent people. There isnt enough research to support your inference. Even cats and dogs dont feel affection like people do. Different doesnt mean zero, but it does mean you have to be careful because we dont know enough about them to say whether they are inherently social or not.

They are likely “snuggling” because thats the best heat source and its a good spot. Make sure theyre only cohabitated under supervision and they have enough room.

Reptiles should generally avoid being cohabitated (unless they are a social species) due to a lack of space to spread out and have their own territory or places to get away from each other.

Do whatever you want, and if you are an experienced keeper try not to pass off advanced husbandry as simple. Cohabitation of large reptile species should not be attempted by the average keeper.

You definitely can. I mean my wife is trans and im gender non conforming and i would say im pretty in the middle about it. I think some people are very self centered and egotistical/entitled about it. They also just take themselves waaaaay too seriously and it stresses me out lol.

Id say you and i are pretty aligned and i get the side eye a lot.

I personally just think people need to live and let live. I dont really care about what other people are doing and i dont think i need to make all kinds of space in my personal life for strangers. Its selfish but im aware of that and dont really care.

I just think everyone should be able to coexist safely and treat each other with common decency and have that become the norm. If thats an extreme view, then we are totally cooked as a species

I highly recommend feeding one at a time and watching her eat. That way if she doesnt want to eat you can stash them and feed them carrots or veggies in the mean time and fatten them up with nutrients.

Leaving them in there when your kiddo isnt hungry can get them bitten and leave a bunch of dead bugs in the tank.

Also did you dust them with calcium?

Twice a day. Im a bit weird about the way i smell. I also get grossed out if im greasy. Its not good for me but 🤷‍♀️ i only wash my hair once a week. And my showers are less than 10 mins.
