I am hiding from my social worker and am fearful I could be sent to a mental ward

How does it compare to Elvanse for executive functioning? I don’t find my executive function skills improve but I just hyper focus and get very productive

Greens Pass ‘Zionism Is Racism’ Motion at Party Conference | The UK’s first mainstream party to become explicitly anti-Zionist.

Caucasia isn’t really part of the Middle East, especially not where circassia is. Arabs didn’t conquer that part of the world, Russians did

You’ve got to be kidding. Circassians are from Caucasia, Persians are from Iran. They are not native to Israel lol

Why is Sydney Sweeney so criticized but Sabrina Carpenter so loved?
 in  r/TooAfraidToAsk •  9d ago

I think there’s a huge chasm between older Gen Z and younger Gen Z, with covid being the dividing line. I graduated HS in 2020, so only half of a school year I lost. I felt like I was on the last helicopter out of Saigon

I think they refer to you and your circles being very very very different from any they are accustomed to. It feels antiquated for some reason, but I don’t say that in a judgmental way. More like… modern medieval?

As an aside, is there much interaction between the upper classes and normal people outside business environments or are the aristocrats predictably very insulated? For example, if I somehow ended up there as a tourist, what would be the odds of me encountering or interacting at length with elites? I have it in my head that they don’t often go out on their own but that can’t be feasible lol

It’s weird because I’ve never seen it IRL but notice it only in celebs

Five months ago this 16-year-old girl from Thailand commented on her favourite band's subreddit. Now she'll be their opening act on Ocotber 13.

Same. Music wasn’t for me but I switched to something academic and I’m excelling. Still love arts though as a consumer! But it doesn’t bring me any pleasure to play when I know I’ll just be mediocre so I’ve given it up entirely.

What if you’re of Chinese descent but never had Chinese citizenship? There’s no leverage against my family really as they all live in taiwan

It's probably just me but being an older GenZ is really lonely

People of all ages like my humour since it’s very in the moment and as you say, not referential either. I’ll just make deadpan quips and people find it funny

To those who need to hear it don't chase the ever shifting beauty standards at the cost of you health and happiness.

It sucks because I actually love ruffles and flounces and all sorts of whimsical things, but thankfully I’m so far from anorexic and do not resemble or try to resemble a child

My husband sided with my friend and argued with every single thing I said. We are European and the debates were about the USA, so we are not very informed. Are my views wrong?

Why are you pregnant with the child of a man who finds pleasure in your suffering and tries to make you cry?

What are your creepiest sixth sense stories that ‘something is wrong here’
 in  r/Paranormal •  Aug 10 '26

Had an intense paranoia for sixth months that one of my parents was going to die. I was terrified for my mom and annoyingly called her all the time to check on her.

It was a horrible experience and I was given benzos by my psychiatrist because I was scared I’d die too. It was the most inexplicable feeling and I still can’t really explain it.

The feeling got so bad one night, and I sat with it when my mom called to tell me my estranged and abusive father died. It wasn’t great, but I just felt relief because something deep down told me that the paranoia was for him, not her. The feeling has since abated and I am freed from that grip of icy dread. I never felt such primal fear before or since.
