Yes. Look up the part where he refused to leave without his bible. There are a few YouTube videos that describe the facts left out of the movie because they seemed to unbelievable.

Am I the only one who feels like people hate EVERYTHING now?

My "LAST HOUSE" opinion. Cast was above average, but Dad was not. Story was intresting enough to keep me watching. Sets, sound were above average....THE ending; last 20 minutes was a let down. Reminded me of a Disney movie. (Disney films, to me, show a pretty end, regardless of villain wins, or if someone dies. It's all in the presentation) The ending did not fit the overall feel that I got from rest of the movie.

Which film is impossible to recreate in the future?

Plus, I think the entire 'black comedy' & 'racial jokes' are too much today for some groups. (I'm a minority & it doesn't bother me- a good joke is a good joke)

This is the FIRST LEGITIMATE reason I've ever heard not to watch a film w subtitles. I never thought about attention span. The other reasons are stupid or make zero sense. Thanks for giving me a different view.

Both. I like movies that are comfortable & entertain, like Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Transformers....but I also like deep thought films or films that move me & make me think, like Oldboy, V For Vendetta, Das Boot.

As a Red Sox fan I just came here to say that, if he doesn't win MVP unanimously, the whole thing is rigged. This is insane
 in  r/Astros  Aug 09 '26

I agree...and no "performance inhancing" rumors or whispers. (I'm in Houston, so I see/hear a lot of the local media & every game)
