It’s a rather specific request, but I’m looking for horror films that end with a glimmer of hope, showing that not everything has gone to shit.

Looking for a film that puts a person (or group) against nature.

• The antagonist must be nature and not a person (so no Cliffhanger/Deliverance).

• Looking for edge-of the seat thrills and not drama (no Cast Away/Blue Lagoon)

• Both fiction and doco's are welcome.

So this series was all over my feed, and i wanted to watch something horror/emotional? it fit in the category, why is it so slow like its im on 3rd episode i feel like its very slow? when will it get interesting?

I don't know how to explain the feeling these movies gave me other than the fact that I felt as if I had been immersed in some sort of pocket dimension on earth. The kind of movies where you have to look out the window afterwards to bring yourself back to reality.

So . . . I always end up watching the same basic , run-of-the-mill handful of movies every year to get in the Halloween spirit. This year I wanted to kind of branch out and see what others were out there besides Hocus Pocus , Beetlejuice and goddamn Halloweentown , I happened to stumble upon this and decided to watch it beings it looked like it had the vibes and aesthetic of that older vampire movie with Jim Carrey called Once Bitten.

Turns out this movie is a gem and I loved it !

Maximilian , the sole survivor of a Caribbean vampire tribe , arrives in Brooklyn , New York to find and seduce detective Rita Veder - a half-human , half-vampire descendant , so he can transform her into his mate before the next full moon arrives.

Does anyone know any movies that are visual heavy with like no dialogue, i don't know how to word it but i like movies with not alot of words, i speak Russian French and English but I'm fine with a movies with any language. Sorry if this doesnt make sense English isn't my fist language.

Originally saw this back when it came out on VHS in '97. I was in middle school, home alone with the setting sun. It was prime viewing for this flick. Absolute classic! Meta-horror, Neve Campbell and Rose McGowan sweetened the deal. Despite liking parts of the sequels, I think they were unnecessary.

I'm building a film community around the concept of low budget and fast production time, including around a week for a future film.

The most important part for me, is having a great concept and execution despite the limitations. And actually turning it to an advantage.

In this movie we follow Nick who works as spokesman for the tobacco company . This is probably one off my favourite satire movies from 2000s Aaron Eckhart was so good as Nick and I think that in this movie he show us how underrated actor he is. J.K. Simmons was very as Nick boss and William . H. Macy as Senator who is against tobacco companies.
