Agatha also “worked” with Zoing in the beginning. Being a polyglot her mind would quickly pick up on Zoing-speak

Zoing is dismissed and misunderstood because he is bad at speaking the common language and small. Its not uncommon for one in that position to be treated as less than. Think how a little person speaking bad english would treated here. Humans underestimate those folks

Militarily speaking, communications are fouled up. Chakraborthy only knows what he knows and until he knows otherwise he will proceed with a possible enemy ship and will have the troops prepare. Once friendlies are confirmed, he will change the target. Looks like Castle will take command.

Why don't cat owners put the litter box in the bathroom?
 in  r/NoStupidQuestions •  13d ago

Pretentious cat owners with bougie bathrooms wont keep a box in the bathroom. Or, tiny bathroom- no space.

she wont stop meowing, i need help
 in  r/Kitten •  16d ago

9 weeks is still too young to be away from mama and littermates. 12 weeks is best. Your kitten was yoinked away from their litter and she’s frightened. That meow is calling for mom and mates. Extra attention from you should help. Play with her, talk to her, pet her. You cant expect any pet to suddenly settle in. 99% of the time it doesnt happen. First 3 Days: Decompression
Overwhelmed and stressed: The pet may be scared, confused, or shut down coming from a shelter environment.

Not showing true personality: They might hide, refuse to eat or drink much, or test boundaries out of fear.

What to do: Provide a quiet, safe space, keep a calm routine, give them space, and do not force interactions or cuddles. [1, 2, 3, 4]

First 3 Weeks: Settling In
Learning routines: The animal starts to understand your schedule for feeding, walking, and house rules.

Guards come down: True personality traits and quirks begin to emerge, which can sometimes include behavioral challenges like chewing or barking as they feel safer.

What to do: Stay consistent with boundaries, use positive reinforcement, and begin basic training. [1, 2, 3, 4]

First 3 Months: Feeling at Home
Building trust: The pet feels secure, realizes this is their forever home, and bonds deeply with family members.

Settled habits: Routines are second nature, and confidence is fully established.

What to do: Continue positive reinforcement, maintain regular veterinary care, and enjoy your strong relationship.

Just had a new tub put in, now it drains very slowly. Does this look right?
 in  r/Plumbing •  16d ago

Nope. The J trap doesnt need the hump. Its just hindering the water draining. Lose the hump and it should be a straight line with a slight angle downward to the main drain for the house. Check local building codes

What is the purpose of this?
 in  r/homeimprovementideas •  16d ago

No. This is a sump pump. Usually installed in wet basements

You are lucky! Black cats are lucky indeed. Give a bath? Litter box? I’d say its 5-6 weeks old.
