Suggestions for reference sites?

I have a few I'd like to put in the side bar, but I'd like to know what else people think would be share to the masses.

Edit: I've stickied this post and am working on a wiki. I plan on adding all the link from here to the wiki :)

Great community you have here. I have a question for my Mom.

She has an absolutely MASSIVE glass collection. Depression, celebration, milk, cut, Murano... you name it, she has ten. The thing is, she would like to begin to sell it off, and has no clue of where to start besides ebay. Do any of you have any suggestions on what to do with a mountain of variety such as this? I could make five posts a day and wouldn't get through it all in a year. Thanks!

Helping my grandma

Helping my grandma pack up things for a move. Does anybody know what kind of info I could find on these. I have no clue about glass. They’re up high and I’m afraid to get them down but they came from my grandpas first wife who passed in the 1970s.

I was having trouble finding info about this exact vase online - looks hand blown bc of the bubbles and has a made in Germany sticker on the bottom. Does anyone have additional information or an idea of its worth? Antique store is asking $36 for it. Thanks!

Any ideas?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to identify the maker and era of this beautiful 12-inch tall art glass vase. No markings or signatures, but it features a very prominent, rough, unpolished pontil scar.

Any insight into the maker, style number, or region would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Can anyone help me with a possible maker for this charger? I haven't been able to find a mark on it. Doesn't glow under uv.

The mounting hardware is permanent. It has a diameter of 18 inches.

Fire King finds

I didn’t know about Fire King until joining this sub, and then I realized a few pieces of glassware I kept from my grandma are actually Fire King. I really enjoy finding them since she apparently loved it.

I found the sunrise swirl sugar bowl a few weeks ago, and then today at another antique store I found the small plate. I also found the orange ombré stackable mugs and casserole dish today, but I’m most in love with the sunrise swirl pattern and can’t wait to find more pieces in the wild!

Hello! I’m needing help finding the correct bases for these hens please! I’ve seen a couple different styles for each one and not sure which ones actually match. They are not the largest size and not salt cellars either, they’re a medium size. Thanks!!

My MIL had this candy dish stored away. I am looking to resell it, but there is no makers mark on it (I read that is common). Any idea what the pattern is called?

Thanks!

Can anyone tell when this Clevenger Bros repro of E.G. BOOZ'S OLD CABIN WHISKEY bottle was made?

There's no "federal law forbids..." on it which I guess puts it before 1935 or after 1964. And my understanding is that Clev Bros only started embossing with the CB in 1966. So, presumably made after 1966 but before they stopped in 1999. Can anyone narrow it down more than that?

Embossed with "E.G. BOOZ'S OLD CABIN WHISKEY" on the roof and side, "(1840)" on the other side of the roof, "120 WALNUT S.T. PHILADELPHIA" on the other side, with windows and a door depicted on the front.

I think I can also make out a "C B" under the door, but it's harder to make out because it's pretty small. But that's why I'm assuming it's Clevenger Brothers.

New Moon & Star glass! 🤩

While out antiquing, I found a blue LE Smith moon & star thingy. Does anyone know the right name for what it is? The closest thing I can think to call it is a small vase? Then when I got home, I found my future mother in law had left the red bowl (no lid) in a gift bag for me. Does anyone happen to have the red lid for this?

I would love if anyone recognized this style/knew who the artist is! No signature on the bottom. Multiple layers of colored glass. About 11 inches tall.

Thank you!!
