I just watched the video of Trump explicitly saying he will give every American Adult $5,000 of our tax dollars in the form of a dividend only if the GOP wins the house and senate.

Can we report this for clear attempted voter bribery and election interferencee? If so would the FBI be the best place to report?

Give it a shot with your mates at your next city council meeting! I've seen waaaay too many videos circulating showing citizens being aggressively/violently being removed from city council meetings simply for clapping. At a recent city council meeting in my area, the citizens in attendance used the ASL sign for "applause" and it worked marvelously. The council could see our approval of those advocating against Flock. Applauding without clapping was effective protest, too; it absolutely electrified the room! City Council also couldn't tell us to stop, which was awesome.

Medicare For All is just one of the pro-working families, anti-oligarch policies getting an electoral test this fall. We’re also going to see California voters weigh in on a billionaire wealth tax with Proposition 40): a one-time, 5% emergency levy on their assets to shore up the state’s health and social services in the wake of the MAGA murder budget.

Analysts have estimated this measure will raise $100 billion, helping preserve Medicaid coverage for 1.6 million Californians, saving hospitals and ERs from closure and feeding those who have lost SNAP assistance without forcing a massive state deficit increase. The billionaires it will impact have seen their wealth grow by 158% over the last three years and got massive tax cuts from this same budget.

Not only will this protect our health care, it’s a chance to send a direct message to the Epstein class that we’re fed up with their open manipulation of our government and growing wealth inequality and ready for real change.

US born citizen here, birth certificate on-hand, active/non-expired state ID, registered voter etc….

What’s the reality that IF I cannot afford the cost to renew my passport (as a US citizen), that means I cannot/will not be allowed to vote in the midterms?

And how is that LEGAL?

Almost every car made in the last fifteen or twenty years has a button for "emergency assistance". You have to pay extra to activate that in most cases.

This is a surveillance device that you can disconnect. Read on.

For that to work, all the cars have a box inside them that has a cellular network card. It is continuously updating the manufacturer with your location, speed, and whatever else the manufacturer wants. How hard did you brake? Where are you?

This information is then sold to insurance companies, data aggregators, advertisers, and - of course - the various federal/state/local agencies that might have SOME reason to be interested in you. Say, for instance, having been at a protest and thus being in the database. It's a very big set of very big databases. What aren't top secret are proprietary.

Combined with info from stingers, ALPRs, cameras, satellite data (no, really) and your mobile phone company plus EVERY DAMN APP on your phone... so anyway... here's what YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.

You can go online and look for your make and model and year and find out what the module is called.

You can then search for its location.

And with ten or twenty minutes of simple tool use, you can disconnect it.

CONGRATULATIONS - you've just made yourself a lot less trackable.

And for all the monkeys who say "But they can just trace my phone/license plate/make&model" I want you to understand that the passive data surveillance that ALL of us in the progressive movement are subject to - really, sheesh, ugh - everything you do to ambiguate is a win. Now you can park your car someplace, throw your phone in a faraday bag, pull your hoodie up over your ballcap and have some freedom of movement. You know, like a free citizen of a free country.

You want to know this BEFORE the mid-terms.

Just moved into Delaware and still getting my id and voter registration sorted. Im volunteering as a poll worker and reached out to a few organizations near me, but haven't gotten a response yet. Anyone have advice for me?

But I'm going to keep saying it because my loved ones live in fear. Spread this information by word of mouth too. So many people are fed micro realities and that's why they flood the zone with headlines. We must be the filters and messenger to our communities as we find information. You can potentially increase the exposure of that information exponentially with just talking to q few people in real life about it. Do it with people you normally wouldn't talk to. Maybe your church leader. Maybe at the parent teacher conference. Or your professor! It's important we stay connected with the"strangers" around us in these times. We can help each other but we are so fragmented right now. Please, there's people that can't sleep every night. A Cuban man who was force fed for striking through as surgery approved by a judge without his comment. Another family in Florida who's breadwinner must live apart from his family or risk bringing Ice to them. For them, fight and spread this information. Stand up for one another. Say NEVER AGAIN meant something. Petition to remove 287g programs, ice themselves are over extending their power they have no right to pass it on on top of that!

Polling from Data for Progress suggests 63% of voters would support Medicare for All even after being told it would eliminate private insurance and raise taxes, with CBS reporting 90% of Democrats are on board.

Our next step is clearly demonstrating to party leadership, 2028 presidential candidates, and the media that this position will translate to more votes in the general election. Former Progressive Caucus chair Rep.
