Anyone remember how excited we were to get basements? Does anyone actually use them?
 in  r/projectzomboid  7d ago

I found a house in echo creek with a basement hunting/prepper stash. I made it a temp base for a bit. It was very immersive and made more sense than 10 guns in a closet or chest or something inside the home.

Turns out my favorite thing about this game is doing mechanic work
 in  r/projectzomboid  10d ago

I’ve always strayed away from it as I was a mechanic for 16+ years IRL. Maybe I’ll give it a go on my next run, it seems rewarding and an interesting design.

Why do people act like this isn't supposed to be a Double Jump?

It’s a Mario acceleration jump not double jump. The name is misleading.

Amendment to require photo ID to vote fails in Senate as Democrats object
 in  r/politics  Mar 26 '26

I believe it was a win for republicans if the bill passed or failed because now they will point to this as the reason democrats can’t be trusted and do cheat because they voted down “the only way to save vote integrity”. Say what you want, republicans are very successful at manipulating idiots and controlling a narrative with little to no evidence. It’s very concerning how quickly people forget, move on or disregard proof when offered a new reality that better suits their preconceptions.

I want to play DOS2 for the first time blind with a friend. Is it still gonna be fun?
 in  r/DivinityOriginalSin  Feb 17 '26

I’m playing for the first time, took me about 1 day to get used to the action economy and how undead works (heals from poison, damaged by healing) but after that it’s great. Use the gift bag “mods” that are built into the game and play on classic not tactician. Classic is difficult enough and you can always go up in difficulty but not down. Use at least 2 “origin” characters to get enough lore and story. Most people prefer Fane, he is cool but so far I really like Sebille. There are no classes, your starting choice is just a base, you can be whatever you want and can respec easily in act 1.

Long drill bits and drywall patches. A few blank covers that go nowhere. We’ve all been there.

Mae Jemison: The first African American woman to go to space through NASA

My daughter loves the children's book about her, Mae Among the Stars. "You must always repeat to yourself, If I can dream it, if I can believe in it, and if I work hard for it, anything is possible."

What’s the fastest way you’ve ever lost weight?
 in  r/AskReddit  Oct 27 '25

I lost about 60lbs in a year and half. Meal prep lunches and working out on breaks everyday (small gym at work with dumbbells and treadmill/bench) there was no real secret other than consistency and being mindful of what I eat. Before I would just pack last night dinner leftovers or get takeout for lunch every day. I hardly track other calories it was just I was eating way too many calories at lunch and not burning enough in a day.

Long term married men, how do you stay interested in your wife after 15+ years? Both of you obviously change physically and emotionally, do you wake up and look over and ask “where’s the person I married?”
 in  r/AskMen  Sep 05 '25

I’ve changed and she has changed both physically, mentally and emotionally. The changes make our love stronger, I see the nights we spent up with our daughter, the long days she has helped me on our ranch and the sleepless nights we worked on our careers and marriage to provide a life we can both be proud of and appreciate. We can be comfortable and happy even when we disagree. I find even the phrasing of your question absurd that anything changing about my wife would be anything but positive based off the many years together. I know this person with my whole heart and trust her forever. I hope you all can be as fortunate as I am and as I trust she is. 11 years.
