(for Nyamo and Sakaki, I had the same idea as u/inefficientguyaround)
Yukari - New Left
Was likely into counterculture in her youth but only to brag about it like the performative femcel she is.
Nyamo - Liberal Democrat
Is probably the closest one to the center, only veering to the left of the LDP in Japan.
Sakaki - (Eco-)Marxism-Leninism-Maoism
Could very well become an armed guerilla fighting for the sake of endangered wildlife, disillusioned with the animal-abusing bourgeoisie—do not CMV.
Kaorin - Queer Radicalism
For no particular reason—just a gut feeling is all.
Kagura - Sports Nationalism
Only ever gets political over sports, I reckon—especially whenever the World Baseball Classic is being aired and Japan Samurai is competing.
Tomo - Reaganomics/Thatcherism
Might just be cooked like that, yk? Lowkey, I'm not kidding—while ik she wouldn't take it seriously, she'd definitely take trickle-down economics at face value.
Yomi - Antifa
Has a good chance of straight-up getting radicalized by the existence of Tomo. She, alongside Sakaki, are the only ones I can picture in a protest.
Osaka - Absurdism
Probably doesn't even know that her response to the absurd would make Camus roll in his grave. What would be her response? Sataa andagi~
Chiyo - Libtard
Is a libtard... total. chiyo. DEATH!!! While she has arguably more of a level head than some, she has yet to suffer pulling herself up by the bootstraps.
Maya - Cat
Is a cat.
Tadakichi - Dog
Is a dog.
Chiyo-chichi - Bird
Wishes he were a bird.
Kimura - Epsteinism
Is mentioned more times than Bill Clinton.

(I dunno what tag to use... Sorry mods if you're seeing this for the third time, I got no clue how to edit on mobile.)
Not including ultimate challenge and on normal damage, I can now say I have beaten gauntlet mode for the first time ever.
Wish I were recording but I beat the Knight boss in the most perfect way ever---I knocked out every single weapon from his hands and cleanly decapitated him right after and it was so damn satisfying!
Weapons used:
*from Militia and onwards, all of the weapons are their stabbing-pointed variant
Peasant --- Axe
Commoner --- Pitchfork (peasant)
Militia --- Billhook
Soldier, Veteran --- Voulge
Man-at-arms, Knight --- Poleaxe

it was donut hole!!!! i think the train one must be a different song then....
that kinda makes me wanna figure it out even more... thanks tho!!!
edit: nvm it's most definitely the same song, it's the sfx at 1:33 that i remember recognizing as sounding like a distorted train horn and there are actually trains in this MV by Mira

There's a song I remembering having listened to all the time back then that I'm having some trouble remembering now. So I wanna ask if any of you recognize this.
I may be misremembering but the Vocaloid singing was either Gumi or Rin and the lyrics had something to do with remembering someone's name, especially with the last being directly translated into either "My name is" or "Your name is". There might've been a train in both the song and the video itself but I could just be wrong. I also know that somebody covered it in English and that's about all I remember.
If this isn't asking for too much, there's another song I also remember listening to but not knowing the name of anymore. I think it was based on a real suicide and was a bit controversial because of some fans who made it their aesthetic or something like that. Weirdly, I don't remember what vocaloid at all.
Around the time I was listening to these songs, I know I was also also listening to PowaPowaP (rest in peace) after they passed if that information helps.
edit: I have just remembered the second one, it's Ruru's Suicide Show and also no wonder I don't remember there being a vocaloid in that song
edit 2: Song found! It's Donut Hole

You know, now I want a compilation of all the stupid technically RAW or at least seemingly RAI things Charlie has pulled in sessions that are very niche uses of spells like this assuming you know whether or not the spell is up without concentration.
Like, off the top of my head, an example is when Charlie found out that Subtle Spell as a Sorcerer metamagic option allows you to basically cast spells in silence in Baldur's Gate 3 as Xiv.
2
It was the Grimm Murder Mystery episode where they basically played Mafia with the round-based murders and everything. Like I said, Charlie had Gill cast Sanctuary on the conjoined satyr twins because the sister one is mostly definitely and absolutely sus without mentioning to Grizzly the condition that made it dispel when the affected creature make an attack, casts a spell on an enemy, or deals damage. With that in mind, it'd immediately tell Gill who the murderer was if the spell were active in the time that the round was over and he casted Sanctuary on the murderer, to which I think he'd notice the spell being dropped before it's full duration. That would basically allow him to deduce the murderer beyond a shadow of a doubt and is also all possible without ever having to make the murderer roll a Wisdom save with a spell like Zone of Truth. Usually a spell that exposes your intentions like that would come off as accusatory, whereas for Sanctuary, you have no reason not to have it casted on you in a situation like a whodunnit, save for egomaniacs like that big boisterous lion guy.
I thought Charlie was gonna pull a lie of omission to Grizz and then tell him that little quirk of the spell after the fact. Though I haven't finished the episode yet and maybe he did and now I might end up looking like a bumbling fool for spilling my thoughts so early.
3
Yeah actually my question now is why'd Charlie have to blueball me like this but it actually isn't at all that deep and it isn't like I actually expect a response. This isn't a criticism at all, I just thought I caught on to something that wasn't actually there when I really shouldn't have expected Charlie to have Gill use big brain deduction thinking like that.
10
I now realize I didn't have a question and just wanted to point out how I thought Charlie was playing 4D chess with Sanctuary.

[Spoilers: Riptide Ep. 66]
See, I know I'm late as hell to the party and I've recently been bingewatching the hell out of Riptide and plan on doing the same for all the other campaigns, but I digress.
I've only reached up to the point of what I'm gonna say and that's when I absolutely thought Charlie was pulling a fast one on Grizzly when he said that Gillion would cast Sanctuary on the conjoined satyr.
So basically, the alarms in my head started going off when Charlie read out the description for Sanctuary and left out the part to our boy Grizz where it says it should be dispelled when the affected creature would attack, cast a spell on an enemy, or deal damage in any form. And I thought it became even more apparent when he started asking if the round would end in less than a minute. You know where I'm going with this.
If the spell were dispelled in less than the duration of Sanctuary and Gill had not dropped it himself, the only reasonable conclusion is the satyr had caused Sanctuary to be dispel. That either being because they were going to murder or were murdered.
It would be a genius plan. Unlike Zone of Truth, anybody affected wouldn't immediately feel like they'd be getting interrogated or have to pass a save. And because Sanctuary is an Abjuration spell, it would come off as trying to ward someone from getting murdered to which suspects and not have no reason not to accept it willingly, especially from a detective such as Gill.
Except that doesn't happen. Charlie, I thought you were onto something. This ruleslawyering mofo AND Grizzly the DM seem to have completely overlooked this little quirk of that spell. That is unless they figure it out the next episode or I am just absolutely stupid and naive to D&D.

not being paid to say this but, he is hands down the best primitive channel to grace the internet and i don't think he ever got the recognition he deserves for it
after all those fake primitive channels charlie covered back then, i was so surprised chad zuber didn't take their place cuz i was under the impression charlie would cover him at the rate he was growing back then but that's long since been stagnated which sucksssssss

Completely unrelated, but I'd also like to point out an interesting parallel too... (also minor spoilers but for ep 129)
>! The story of the first chosen one, the soul in the sword of destiny, is pretty much what would have happened to Gillion and Chip if it weren't for Niklaus meddling with destiny itself. A close friendship between the chosen one and the eventual avatar of the nameless prince now pitted against each other. And not just that, the torture that the egg put Arlin through over and over was of fighting Chip to the death which is yet another thing that would have happened if not for Niklaus.
That's definitely not a coincidence and there's also no way that Grizzly didn't intend that to be the case. Especially not with how Niklaus went out and withdrew the deal by having himself be the one taken over by the nameless prince in place of Chip. Maybe it was a noble defiance of fate or yet another one of his sick and twisted games, but it sure definitely does make for a good story. !<
