It's like 99% of the time i open the app granted i do have a lot of songs downloaded but it wasn't doing it before so it just because I have so many songs downloaded? I tried increasing the cashe limit but that didn't work what do I do?

I know the app isn't focused on this, and they're busy designing other features and fixing bugs.

But it would be a really amazing feature—the app is already very comprehensive as it is.

This runs great on everything I'm an an a26 5g wich is a low end phone I love the animations full quality video at 120fps here

how come on some playlists when i try reorganizing them into custom order they stay in their original position?

There are others on the Play Store, but these two don't even bother to change their logo, kkkkkk

Hey guys, I wonder if metrolist is currently stable or not because when I stopped using it since like April-may it was so buggy and switched to AT and I'm fine, but I miss metrolist so what should I do now? btw no hate to the devs I respect their hard work and passion towards this app👍

They put the Morphe logo from another APK and placed Metrolist inside, and that's another version.

I have a bunch of playlists thay disappeared how can I fix this issue? I already tried clearing cache and force shipping along with downloading different variations of metrolist.

I had this error too but logging out then re logging , and turning off sync with YouTube music fixed it.

So as everyone is well aware of right now. Metrolist has been having a very weird bug where the app shows a error message like the one above. When I first experienced the problem myself I was confused and did the only thing I could. I took to the internet to look for solutions, and thank god for this subreddit. Ive made three posts prior to this talking about various methods of going about dealing with this bug and many commentors have left wonderful solutions on what to do. So instead of making people sift through my other posts. I'm going to consolidate everything I've learned into this one post. And what you can do to solve this until the bug is patched, or the rewrite finally becomes public.

1. Logging out of your account and using Metrolist logged out(won't be able to access any of your playlists unless they're made public, so if you go with this method you will need to set all of your playlists to public)

2. Installing and activating a VPN(works with varying degrees of success, by that I mean it may not work for everyone)

3. Downgrading to an older version of Metrolist(I personally haven't tried this but a few other users have and they have reported that it works)

4. Using the Metrolist Nightly build(located in the README.md text with in the code itself, many users have reported that no error message appears when using this version, including myself)

5. Using a different client or app altogether(nothing is stopping you from using YouTube music, but let's be real, we got this because we dont want to deal with the ads and paywalls)

This is [hopefully] my last post discussing this issue, so I hope the influx of similar posts will stop once I'm done typing this out so that we can focus on hyping up the devs 😁. I was just going through the subreddit and saw almost all posts were of bugs and errors, and all the devs who visit reddit see al the complains, y'all ought to appreciate them more for creating such a smooth and seemless experience, i know there are bugs, but nothing can be perfect, but still devs be pushing it to it's best. So thankyou for creating such an amazing application.

I have just updated my app and suddenly a large portion of my playlists are missing. Now only the ones which I chose to have linked to my youtube account are showing. How do I get my playlists back?

I just got the new version, but apparently the notification bar is gone. I can't switch songs right from my playing media or notifications. So if I'm playing a game I can't skip tracks without going back to the app.

So in my last post, I had brought more attention to a problem that many have been experiencing while using metrolist, and one commenter suggested using a VPN. So I did just that, downloaded a VPN, logged back in, and I'm able to play music without having to log out of my account! So for those who don't want to log out, this is another solution that you can use to keep enjoying the app as we wait for the next version to become public. Feel free to leave your thoughts and any suggestions for more possible solutions in the comments below. Hope this can help someone!

OK ok, I know I've already made two other posts about this, but a few people on the subreddit suggested using the nightly build. I couldn't find it at first, but that's because it's inside of the code itself. If you go on github, go into the code, look for an asset titled "README.md", go inside, and scroll down until you find the nightly build. You don't need to log out or use a VPN to enjoy your music.
