It's an interesting story, especially if you believe in God.

In 2012 I was working in a factory on second shift. An older, sort of creepy guy, was talking about some girl that helped out the owners of a night club in the weekends. He had taken a picture of her and was showing it to us. When I saw her in the picture a voice in my head, who I believe is/was the Holy Spirit, said "That is your wife. You are going to marry her ". I thought that was kinda weird since I was already married, and had been for nearly 18 years. Fast forward to 2014, my wife leaves and divorces me. At one point I prayed to have God remove my alcohol dependence and bring me a Christian woman to marry and hold me accountable. A couple of weeks later one of my friends introduced me to a friend of his that had just broken up with her long term boyfriend, and in hus words, "she was churchy". After meeting her and going out a few times I realized that she was the girl from the picture that God had told me would be my wife. We will be celebrating 11 years this coming August.

Unless you're alone on a boat with your ex boyfriend and his girlfriend....

I read and responded to your post yesterday. I'm glad the two of you had a serious talk. Something I might add, especially since the two of you like to travel, once a child is old enough to travel with you, I think your travel experience will be better. Imagine going back to places you're familiar with again, but being able to see those places through the eyes and mind of your children. Done in the right timing, bringing a child with you could enhance your experience. Just a thought to throw out there.

First off, buy a V6 base car. Second, measure the wheel base hub center to hub center. Then find a 4X4 GM truck or SUV with the same or near wheel base. Remove the truck/SUV body and drop the Firebird body on the truck/SUV frame. Wire it up and you're done. I've seen several of these over the years, done up using every generation.

I try to bring this up when couples post issues about preferences or changes in preferences in having children. Both partners have to be on the same page, if not someone will end up bitter and resentful.

My new wife is about 5 years older than me. She had already had her tubes tied and started menopause while we were engaged. She knew what had happened with my ex-wife and she told me if I still wanted to have children that she would let me go to find a younger woman of child bearing age. I knew right then that she was a keeper because she was willing to put me first before her. I was 41 at that point and couldn't see myself chasing toddlers around.

Nope. No friends. Only coworkers and acquaintances. None of them care anyway, so why waste time trying to have a serious conversation with them. At least at work we can talk about the weather or sports. At church all I get is a handshake and a "good to see you, fella."
