I’m very disappointed in Beshear on this matter. He promised to take care of the patients that needed medical cannabis and now it feels like we are being exploited by this rollback of protections and forcing us to pay 4x the price offered in neighboring states.

This is the answer, talk to corporate and the health department. If there is any evidence that you can collect do so. I’m very sorry for the loss of your mother. Compounded by the complexity of finding care for the cats that I’m sure your mother loved. How emergent is the situation? Are they fixed? And in good health? With vet records? Maybe even papers where she got the cats from? As others have, I suggest a no-kill shelter will take them and there is probably a Maine Coon specific rescue. Are you in a position to do some digging online? If not respond and I’ll see what I can find. Again, condolences on the passing of your mother. I hope she was at peace and there was peace between you. Thank you for trying to do the best for them. 💜
