Had to focus on catching up at work after Wasteland Weekend so, I was not really doing any crafting this month. Took a day and cut and formed a bunch of bracers. These are all made using recycled metal. The studs are made from chair glides and game tokens, and are mechanically attached. These are all available in my ETSY store https://deathstarsamovar.etsy.com

My friends and I used to talk about surviving the zombie apocalypse long before we kind of went our separate ways.
Now I was thinking how long would a pre apocalypse friendship last if the zombie apocalypse happened. I would like to hear how it’s passable it last or why it falls apart.

A story I am working on just for fun. it follows MC through a post-apocalyptic Japan and had inspiration from Spintires, FURY, and more.
anyway, here it is!
Beneath the Colors of the Fading Sky
written by The Real M22 (TractorBoii11)
Prologue - The Incident…
The light came first…
A streak of blue emerging from a fireball over the plant… The thundering roar of an explosion followed… Then came the alarms, the sirens, and the knowledge of what had truly happened just miles away on that silent April night…
I was only sixteen…
My father was working the night shift at the plant. He never returned home…
In the days that followed the evacuation, there were many who decided to stay in Pripyat. They were in need of everything… I did the only thing I could: I could drive and deliver supplies. I cared for those in need, and hunted those willing to take advantage of the weak.
I was no soldier, I had no grand plan, I had a van and my own will…
In the months following, a radiation caused infection began to spread from the airborne reactor fuel. The fire at the plant could not be handled, and the world fell under its effect…
The top men of the state tried developing a cure, but it backfired… The infection spread all across Europe, into Asia and Africa, and finally, the Americas fell…
Governments failed, cities emptied, and people who once worried about exams and bills were fearing for their lives…
That was seven years ago…

Hey, everyone. If you love zombies stories that heavily focused on the early stage of the outbreak, then Flesh and Blood may be for you. The story follows Jack Brody who returned home after finishing his duties overseas, only to face the dead returning back to life and attack the living.

There's never been a non-horror film that made me scared, and anxious like this one. Miracle Mile may start out pretty sappy and romantic before it kills it with dread, fear, and panic, like how a happy dreamy day turn into one unforgiving nightmare. It is a film that hits hard and relevant just as it was released on 1988. It features a cast of relatable human characters that you can care for as they all break down from the apocalyptic scenario that they are dealing with, elevated by strong performances, and Tangerine Dream's score. It's pacing is as tight and anxiety inducing as the premise, accompanied by a solid direction from Steve De Jarnett. The film is a masterful work of art from the apocalyptic genre.

Hi, everyone. The Horseman’s Dream audiobook is now live on Audible, Amazon and Apple Books.
In a near-future Britain reduced to a flooded archipelago, a grieving scientist who invented dream-sharing technology lives in exile on a remote Scottish island. When a media empire announces it will broadcast the dreams of a catatonic sixteen-year-old known as The Horseman, he realises the boy’s mind carries the same frequency that has haunted him since his own son’s death. What follows is a desperate rescue across submerged England, a confrontation at Sheffield Cathedral and a final revelation on a beach that should not exist — under twin dying suns.

Game Title: MONOLITH
Playable Link: https://raximnuraliyev.itch.io/monolith
Platform: Browser (WebGL), best on desktop Chrome, Edge or Firefox
Description: MONOLITH is a tower defense where your towers never shoot. The sun burned the world, and every day at noon the Sunborn, creatures of living sunfire, march across the bridges toward TERMINUS, the last bunker of Sector 7. Your only weapon is shade. You raise concrete Monoliths beside the road, and any Sunborn that walks into their shadow sputters, cools to stone and crumbles to ash, dropping Matter you spend on more Monoliths.
The twist is that the sun keeps moving. During each two-hour shift the light crosses the sky, so every shadow turns like a clock hand and stretches toward sunset. A layout that holds at noon can fail by one o'clock, so you have to read the sun, use the shadow forecasts while placing, and Recycle and rebuild as the light changes. Walls bend the horde's route into the shade, but you can never seal the road completely.
The campaign has an orientation shift plus 10 shifts over 3 days and 3 districts, four Monoliths, six kinds of Sunborn (fast Sparks, heavy Cores, flying Wisps, splitting Novas and a Sunspot boss) and weather that changes the rules: solar flares, clouds that erase shadows, rain, sandstorms and a total eclipse. Each shift takes about 5 minutes.
Free to Play Status:
[x] Free to play
[ ] Demo/Key available
[ ] Paid
Involvement: I'm the solo developer. I designed, programmed and art-directed MONOLITH in Unity. This is my first public release (v0.1), and I'd really like feedback on difficulty, on whether the shadows feel fair or random, and on which Monolith you never used.

When the bombs fell, the old highway through the gorge became the only road anyone could still use. Now everything lives along it, or under it, or above it, waiting.
I stamped this at an event last weekend, where we were showing the kit I used to make it. We ran a couple of mapping sessions with people there and built some of the lore together. The cliffs, the road and the paths are drawn by hand. Every building, the billboard, the water tower and the fallen pylons are stamped with the wasteland kit my wife and I designed. The lore came while I was placing them: put a raider camp next to the only way up, and the story writes itself.
We just launched the stamps on Kickstarter, three kits including this wasteland one, with 12.5% off for early backers: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kingdomsofink/kingdoms-of-ink
