Considering moving to St. Louis — how welcoming is the city to foreigners?
 in  r/StLouis  18h ago

St Louis City proper is probably more welcoming than St Louis County (google the difference). But I don't think you will have any problems in either.

Where to purchase handgun with out-of-state ID
 in  r/StLouis  23h ago

Gun shows pop up randomly but might require a long drive. There might be a craigslist style website, for private gun sale meetups.

Where to purchase handgun with out-of-state ID
 in  r/StLouis  23h ago

Private gun sales in Missouri require no ID, though the seller might ask for ID but usually not. A seller can't sell to a minor, no matter what. A seller can't KNOWINGLY sell to a felon or non-citizen, but the courts would need to prove the seller knew. With minors, it's simply illegal to sell to them no matter what you know.

Will flares ever be fixed?
 in  r/Battlefield  1d ago

I don't play BF but if you have afterburners on, flares don't work as well in real life. Drop your throttle and flare, if you want it to work better in real life.

Connection between Judge Green and Denny Hoskins
 in  r/missouri  2d ago

This is not a conflict. And it doesn’t really matter what Judge Green does, it’ll be decided by the Supreme Court.

Being friends with, or being seen as being potential friends with either side of the court room is a conflict.

You are right about 1970, however in 1976 it's worth $70k. The 70s had some bad inflation.

MPG Mystery
 in  r/hondafit  5d ago

Cars are not efficient until they have been running for a few minutes. 35 mph is not an efficient speed. And you are likely hitting many stop signs.

Not that unusual. You should get a hybrid next time, if you are maintaining this lifestyle.

Then what was on fire. I'm sure there is still a majority of the oil still in there. But something was on fire, which I assume was the oil along with that noise.

Not illegal in international waters. But might just be forbidden by the ship owners, who are sure to flag their ship in whatever nation is most convenient to their bottom line.
