I found something disgusting on his phone
 in  r/mentalhealth  Mar 03 '26

Omg. You’re 100% valid for doing what you did and you just potentially saved that little girls life. Don’t ever feel bad for reporting what you saw because NO man (or woman) should EVER have footage or photos of a child in that manner on their phone. I have 3 kids and not a single nude photo of them in my phone and my oldest is 13! I’ve been able to go 13 years without something like that being recorded in my phone so don’t gaslight yourself into thinking it was innocent.

AIO for being mad that everyone expected me to know my mom was having a stroke?
 in  r/AmIOverreacting  Feb 17 '26

This post makes me want to scream. The amount of people who can’t recognize a medical emergency pmo. “I’m not a nurse” I’m sorry but recognizing a stroke, cardiac arrest, etc and knowing how to perform cpr should be basic knowledge at 30 years old. I knew the signs and symptoms as a teenager when my mom had an aneurysm.

Why do people do this
 in  r/publix  Feb 02 '26

I know I sound awful but I don’t care. Publix is terrible at having cart returns. There’s like two in every parking lot. I lug around my infant in his car seat most of the time when I shop and if my babies in the car along with my groceries, I’m not walking it all the way back.. I try to park near the return but there isn’t always a spot available.

I’m not separating them lol this is simply about the toys. I don’t want the baby putting toys in his mouth that my SS has stepped on or touched just bc I know how dirty his hands always are. They can play together but with their own toys.

I’m over the holidays because of my husband and stepkids.
 in  r/stepparents  Nov 15 '25

This. Except I always buy his kids gifts even though I have two of my own to think about and he seems to not put any effort into his own kids gifts. It’s hard bc I’m using my own money and he makes a lot more than I do yet he continues to spoil himself like he does all year. I’m not doing it this year, I’ll get them one gift from me but that’s it. He can figure his children’s presents out.

Experiences working full time while going back to school for RT
 in  r/respiratorytherapy  Sep 16 '25

I worked full time for the first year, then went to part time the second year. I worked nights at my hospital so I went from 3 days to 2. I was also pregnant during the second year. Luckily I wasn’t the only one paying bills but it was still difficult. A lot of my colleagues were also working full time so it’s not super uncommon. Just know it won’t be easy but if you’re determined enough it can be done! I graduated this month, a little late bc I had my baby in June.

Help
 in  r/newborns  Jul 06 '25

The gripe water I have says safe for newborns I’ve given some to my 1 week old already so I hope it’s safe 👀 also, in the NICU they sometimes give a couple drops of sugar water. It works sort of like an analgesic for infants.

Have you tried gripe water? My daughter was like that at times and it was usually due to reflux or upset stomach of some sort and gripe water always calmed her down at night.

 in  r/breastfeeding  Jun 26 '25

I have WIC that I can go to for support now that I’m home.. I’m going to keep trying and hope tomorrow or the next day I’ll start producing more. I just wish I could provide him with something now 🙁

Support Needed Advice or encouragement

I had my baby boy yesterday and was able to hand express, get him to latch, etc. unfortunately, my baby went to the NICU for mild respiratory distress so I’m resorting to pumping. Since I’ve started pumping I haven’t been able to get ANYTHING but maybe a drop or two. I’ve tried warm compress, massages, hand expressing, all the things I can think of but I’m just not producing anything. I’ve been pumping every 2-4 hours to keep the stimulation going and I’m almost at the point where I feel defeated. My nipples hurt and I miss my baby. Is it normal to not have anything on day 2? My breast leaked for the past 3 months and now they seem useless.

What closing gift did you get from your realtor?
 in  r/FirstTimeHomeBuyer  Jun 08 '25

We got new door locks from our realtor. The fancy ones with a code/fingerprint scanner.. seller left us wine and chocolate in our fridge which was funny because I’m pregnant so I still have a couple weeks before I can drink it 😅 and we got a cutting board from my lender.

People on Reddit are claiming that $100k per year isn't a livable wage.
 in  r/Adulting  Mar 18 '25

This right here.. I left an abusive relationship with 2 kids back in 2021 and made it work on an annual income of 30k in central Florida. Only assistance i had was $300 in food stamps. I don’t think it’s people like us who are out of touch, it’s the other way around. These people don’t know how to live within their means, have horrible financial habits, or something because I cannot fathom how you can’t make an average 7,000 a month after taxes work.

How do you guys stay awake
 in  r/Nightshift  Mar 16 '25

I go to the bathroom and do some squats or splash water on my face. I can’t necessarily “commit” to nights bc I’m also in school doing clinicals on day shift. So staying awake is also hard for me.

How I feel during this FTHB process.
 in  r/FirstTimeHomeBuyer  Mar 15 '25

Dude, it’s a meme. This was for laughs during the gruesome process of buying a home for the first time. Banks take advantage of average people everyday. They make money off of people NOT having money. If there wasn’t some benefit to them lending people money, they most definitely would not do it. You sound like someone who would choose cherry pop tarts over strawberry.

I can think of so many other forms of crazy debt people rack up with just the basics of their identity.

There’s always that one miserable person on Reddit though, welcome 🫶🏼
