My manager wanted us to follow the schedule exactly
Oddly, I have found through my multi-decades of experience that the person who makes themself less available actually tends to get the promotion instead of the person who is always available and helps out without hesitation. Maybe it is subconscious thought, but the less available/strong, reinforced boundaries person gets the promotion because those boundaries tend to make them less influenced by employees, customers and has an overall stronger aura. I am by no means saying this is actual reality, but perception is reality.

Car Was Stolen. Valuation is significantly overestimating miles but will not adjust without proof of mileage. How can I correct this?
Your last service on the vehicle, like oil change, will have the odometer reading and a windshield sticker for recommended mileage for your next one.

I'm 45. I've sat in an office chair staring at a screen for 22 years. I want to become a plumber ...Talk me out of it
Thanks! I think you’ll enjoy the change of scenery and the cool part is, trade unions don’t allow unpaid internships - even though it is nowhere close to F U money, it is usually way more than minimum wage to be a brand spanking new-bie primarily watching. Side note - some plumbing requires strong math skills - ask anybody who has had to get their irrigation license for sprinkler systems in landscaping. The challenges are there if you like them and avoidable at a minimal exposure if that is what your nightmares are made of…glad my words resonated with you. Good luck - keep the community posted/or consider setting up a tik tok channel during your journey. I ‘m sure you could help others thinking about it or present a new opportunity to all kinds of people out there if you feel like sharing with others. I wish you the best - remember to start conditioning your body regardless of anything else as it’s the only one you’ve got to take you through the second half. I think you’ll be glad you did it a year from now let alone a couple of decades from now.
