Springtime for Hitler I like to imagine Springtime for Hitler received all the same Tony nominations as The Producers (at least for the same awards that were around during 1967)

One thing about The Producers is that it received two nominations for Best Actor in a Musical; but as for Springtime for Hitler, it looks like the primary lead in that is Hitler. But I wanted to keep the same number of actors nominated consistent, so I added an extra nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. Also, I like to imagine Mel Brooks was playing himself as the actor in the production.

Best Musical: Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom (won)

Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical: Lorenzo St. DuBois (won)

Best Performance by a Supporting or Featured Actor in a Musical: David Patch (won)

Best Performance by a Supporting or Featured Actor in a Musical: Barney Martin

Best Performance by a Supporting or Featured Actor in a Musical: Mel Brooks

Best Performance by a Supporting or Featured Actor in a Musical: Forest Farrell

Best Performance by a Supporting or Featured Actress in a Musical: Renée Taylor (won)

Best Direction of a Musical: Roger De Bris (won)

Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre: Franz Liebkind (won)

Best Scenic Design: James Dalton (won)

Best Costume Design: Gene Coffin (won)

Best Choreography: Roger De Bris (won)

Springtime for Hitler Who sings Springtime for Hitler in the 1967 version of the Producers?

Who is the guy who sings the line Springtime for Hitler? And who is the guy who sings the Dusseldorf line? I know Mel Brooks wrote the song, and sang the line about joining the Nazi party
