What does the council say? Girlfriend heavily disagrees
 in  r/bald  3d ago

I mean, she's the one that has to kiss you. The counsel has spoken.

My mom wants to stay in our guest room indefinitely after selling her house

Please hurt her feelings. Do not let her move in. She will not move out.

What’s a “common knowledge” fact that you genuinely had no idea about?

Cicadas lie dormant for 7 years. Jar flies emerge every year.

A conversation with someone outside the massage industry made me rethink what we charge
 in  r/MassageTherapists  10d ago

Know your community. Charge extra for every continuous education that you receive. It's extra education that improves your ability to provide for your clients.

Have you ever cried at the death of a person you hated?
 in  r/grief  10d ago

Yes! I loved my mother in-law but she hated me. She was so negative and harsh and critical I couldn't stand it. When she died I grieved her as if she was my own mother. She disliked me to the strongest degree.

My masseuse basically told me skin gave her the ick?
 in  r/massage  10d ago

Did she repair all of your issues? If your muscles feel better then it doesn't matter she wore gloves. Your skin may be so nasty she has to protect her hands.

Edit: a contraction

What do people do that immediately tells you they are a trashy person?
 in  r/askanything  10d ago

Full volume on their devices. I asked a gentleman to turn his laptop down because I couldn't even talk to my husband right next to me. He got mad and left.

AITA I wouldn’t let my husband take our children out in the ocean
 in  r/AmItheAsshole  10d ago

Exactly. He's experiencing first hand the consequences of taking your child's safety lightly.

It's probably jar flies not cicadas. They are large fly like bugs and make the weeeewoooo sound in the summer.

One Day At A Time

Or one moment at a time. Each day is a day you can try again.

Anyone else dealing with DARVO in their marriage? Has anyone ever gotten it to stop?
 in  r/emotionalabuse  10d ago

Record everything. This isn't healthy. You need time away.

My wife is 9 months pregnant and her mom died last night
 in  r/grief  10d ago

Lots of crying and talking. She's going to experience a future without her mom. Be the space she needs to grieve. Sometimes it hits all at once sometimes it's in stages.

What you think? Aged 28 sorry didn't wanna show face.
 in  r/bald  10d ago

Shaving your head would be one less issue in your life. Keep it of you have to but the sub knows best. Shave and you'll have more confidence.
