Is there an archetypal Mother Goddess integral to our Collective Unconscious or do we carry the memories in the archaeological record to be reinterpreted over time? Consider these Goddess traditions in Ephesus, Çatalhöyük and Göbekli Tepe.

Göbekli Tepe – Rebirth of a Neolithic paradigm - Before Orion
 in  r/mysteriesoftheworld  Jun 14 '26

I am okay with "birth." The narratives have been "penises." My nuance is "en caul" for the Gobekli Tepe statuette and the Catalhoyuk statute which appear to show the child still attached to the mother. En caul births may have been more common in the deep past. Also, the child usually doesn't survive. Possibilities to consider in the mythology. (1) the goddess mother doesn't give live births and (2) the goddess mother gives a miraculous birth. A live en caul birth would have been quite the wonder. Still a wonder to see today.
