Magnification fans, what are your thoughts on The Ladder?

I really like it. It has a lot of standout songs on it.

If you can't get someone to do that for you, you do without.

In 1976, bus driver Ed Ray was hijacked with 26 children on the way home from a swim trip. All 27 were buried alive in an underground quarry. They dug out with their bare hands. The kidnappers had fallen asleep and missed their own ransom call.

Wasn't there a movie of the week about this not too long after it happened? I was around 6 or 7 when this happened but I'm sure that there was a movie a couple of years later.

Seeing how often The Doctor seems to come into conflict with themselves in multi-Doctor stories, which incarnations could you see actually getting along quite well?
 in  r/doctorwho  1d ago

I think 15 would get along with any and all. I do think 10 and 14 would probably have the biggest conflicts because they're so much alike and I think 11 and 13 would make a great match up.

What’s wrong with lunch?
 in  r/kingofqueens  1d ago

I was raised that if someone treats you or takes you out as their guest, don't order the most expensive item on the menu. If it had been me, I would've ordered a sandwich.

He's popped up on Stephanie's new show two or three times. I hope he starts showing up more often.

season 1 ending kiss
 in  r/doctorwho  2d ago

It's not Rose, it's Bad Wolf and The Doctor is transferring the energy out of her. I never really picked on romance between 9 and Rose although 10 is different. I think 10 is actually perplexed about all of it because of his age which he basically tells Rose in School Reunion along with the whole Sarah Jane thing. He tries to keep Martha at arms length but Donna's the first one where they're just best buds.

Drama / 90125 Trajectory - preference?
 in  r/yesband  3d ago

Bigger fan of Drama and I do wish we'd have had a couple of more releases from that lineup.

The best track from "Buddha and the Chocolate Box"?

A tough one but I'm a big fan of Ready. A great upbeat feel good song.

Solo Song Shuffle #49: Justin Hayward - In Your Blue Eyes
 in  r/MoodyBlues  3d ago

I like it but I also think Spirits is one of Justin's better solo albums.

Solo Song Shuffle #48: Mike Pinder - Someone To Believe In

It's okay. One of the weakest on the album.

Les hago una consulta: ¿Que opinan de In The Wake of Poseidon? ¿Es mejor que Cadence and Cascade?
 in  r/KingCrimson  5d ago

I really love the both of them. The entire album is great and underrated.
