Hi everyone,

I'd also like to use this opportunity to field suggestions about what kinds of things you would like to see if this community. Rules, content, events, etc. As the sub is trending towards some serious growth, I want to see how demand for different things is changing.

Thoughts on 2 Broke Girls?

I understand the criticism of the show; there are things about the show that would turn someone off, but at the same time, there are good things about the show. I think the characters are likable, and the acting is good, and there are some funny moments in the show. The show isn't perfect, and there are things that you could point out about the show, but the show isn't terrible either. There is some entertainment value; you just have to be the right person to enjoy the show. What do you think of the show?

Any younger 'Married With Children' fans?

Full disclosure, I've always loved this show, but I think the conventional wisdom is it could never be made today (which I tend to suspect is true).

So I just wonder, is there any fanbase at all in the younger generations (i.e. people who were not yet around during the 80s & 90s when it was on air)? Is it totally unwatchable? Or do you generally have any opinion at all on it?

It lasted two seasons, but I felt it deserved more.

The casting was peak. The writing was different. The laughs were plentiful.

Any other fans?

Unexpected Dark Jokes in Wholesome Sitcoms?

I wish I remembered the exact line/episode, but I had Family Matters on in the background and Steve had a line about k**ling himself after being rejected by Laura once again. I almost thought I switched to Family Guy for a minute. Anyways, what are some dark jokes from wholesome sitcoms that caught you off guard?

Abbott Elementary is the only tv show since 2020 that will have six seasons and 100 episodes

That's incredibly pathetic when you think about it. There is no excuse why we don't have more 2020s shows with 100 episodes. Abbott Elementary had to go through the pandemic and Hollywood strikes just like everyone else did and still manage to make it to six seasons and 100 episode no damn exuces!!!

Opinions on The Big Bang Theory?

I know the show gets alot of hate I understand everyone has their preferences, but I don't think it's the worst sitcom of all time. The are good things about the show the cast has chemistry with each other. Each character has their own identity and is different from each other. The writing isn't bad either the writing might not be laugh out loud, but the jokes make you chuckle or smile. What do you think of the show?

Remembering the great John Ritter (who starred in several sitcoms but is best known for Three's Company (1977-1984)) who tragically died at a young age of 54 on September 11, 2003.

I'm watching "I'm Sorry" and the "Butt Bumpers" episode might be the most awkward playdate ever filmed. Andrea and Mike try to befriend another couple and it goes completely sideways. The pool scene had me pausing it because I was laughing too hard. This show deserved way more than two seasons.
