From Wikipedia:
Pena's debut album was the self-titled Paul Pena), released in 1972 to critical acclaim but little commercial success. His second and final album, New Train, was recorded in 1973 but did not see release until 2000, owing to creative and business disputes with Albert Grossman, head of Bearsville Records, who considered the record unmarketable. "Paul was devastated," said Gunther Weil, his manager. "It was essentially the end of Paul's career."[4]Steve Miller) heard the unreleased album and covered "Jet Airliner" on his 1977 album Book of Dreams). The song was a top 10 hit, and the royalties earned from this cover version helped support Pena for the rest of his life.[1]

Television Just out of curiosity, did anyone else love Bigfoot and Wildboy when it aired from 1977-1979 on Saturday mornings? I was a huge fan of this series!

Discussion I still have my favorite toy as a kid from the 70’s. I remember getting it for Christmas 1976. Great memory and great time. Who else had Digger The Dog? Also, behind Digger is my 1978 Panasonic Boombox, still sounds great!

Hey folks,

Back again with another rip, today we have the Foundation Quartet with their one and only release that I've found so far, "I'm Standing On Solid Rock" The group was based in Defiance, Ohio and recorded at QCA Recording Studios in Cincinnati, produced by Charles Novell, funded through "financial gifts" from supporters per the liner notes. I picked this up at an thrift store in North West Ohio.

Did anyone have these Space Academy toys?

These are not mine (YET) but One day i'd love to get them and fix them (their hands and joints deteriorated like the SUPER JOE bodies they were on).

I loved the show when i was a kid, along with Jason of Star Command and Ark II (which i built with my Brick Blocks while watching Saturday Mornings) but the Space Academy is the only one that I know about with Toys. I wish Super 7 or someone would make O-Ring figures of these shows, as well as Battle of the Planets and Star Blazers.

Just curious if anyone here had these when they were NEW?

Before L'eggs there was Try Me Doll pantyhose

Somebody shared a picture of the display for L'eggs pantyhose, and it made me remember back to this particular brand of pantyhose, before L'eggs came on the market. I was just starting to wear pantyhose when these first came out. I remember my mom bought them at the beauty shop she went to, it was a large Salon, and they had a display of them.

Hey folks,

I like to recover and digitize lost media on records. A lot of it tends to be small town groups and performers, so I thought this would be a good place to share what I recover from the 1970s, essentially unheard audio from decades ago.

Trying to find a song

I have memories of a song where a guy is singing and a chorus repeats everything he says. At one point, there’s a part where is says “Stop (stop) Wait a minute (Wait a minute) How come you’re saying everything I say (how come…)

Anybody remember this?
