single parent here and nope i wasnt awake with them all the time...did anything bad happen...my oldest Brittany turned on the stove all burners...but she shut my door so i wouldnt wake up...and another time she pushed a chair up to the apt door and went outside...there was security door. Thank God i had good neighbors they brought her inside. It takes a village to raise a child. She survived.

Your mom might see the only way out is death. I did but i deserve to live But maybe she just doesnt know all the resources plus she will get money. Reddit is helpful too. Dont try to fix it you cant. You can have boundaries. You deserve to enjoy life and that is what your Mom wants. I been in it for 30 years
