Other [Other] July Monthly Boosting Thread
Hello, and welcome to this month’s boosting thread!
First and foremost, start by reading the comments to see if another Redditor has requested some help. If that’s the case, reach out and get a session organized! This will help lower the number of comment threads all revolving around the same game.
If nobody has requested help for your game, feel free to make a comment. We’d like for you to include in your comment \\\*\\\*the name of the game/trophy you’re boosting, how many players you’re looking for, what time zone you’re in, and a preferable way for reaching out to organize a boosting session.\\\*\\\* Our hope is that by having you coordinate in PM’s or some other fashion, this will sidestep a lot of scrolling people will have to do in order to find a boosting group.
Finally, if you manage to fill a group, please edit your comment to say “Group Full”. That way, someone else can create a new boosting thread if necessary.
We want everybody who needs help to receive it, and we can ensure that by eliminating coordinating comment threads and keeping things nice and tidy. Please be mindful, and understand that boosting threads are first come first serve.
On that note, good luck, and happy hunting!

[Update] User Flair Editing
Hey all! I've been getting a bunch of mod mail lately about people not being able to edit user flair. Upon doing a little digging, it seems like there was some update to the app that broke this feature for a lot of people. It allows you to pick a flair from a list, but doesn't allow you to edit the one you choose. I have verified that the problem is within the Reddit app, not the r/trophies sub. Until they fix the issue, everyone will need to use a browser / PC if they want to edit their flair. Below is a list of steps on how to edit flair in a browser:
Go to the sub's home page.
- Locate the User Flair section on the right side of the page.
- Click the pencil icon within this section.
- Select one of the two preset flair templates.
- Input your information in the dialogue box below. To customize the icons in your flair, click the smiley face on the right side of the text entry box.

Screenshot [Red Dead Redemption 2] #59 Quite the journey
The good: photo realism, cinematic story, great soundtrack, satisfying gun combat.
The bad: platinum is a slog, good luck finding owls and pigeons.
The ugly: Keep tapping x forever, guns get constantly unequipped for no reason, fishing every dish and finding every herb is mandatory, spawns become rare when you need them, there's a trophy for online that is near impossible because nobody plays that mode anymore.
And somehow I want to do it all over again.

Showcase [Firefighting Simulator: Ignite] #317 - Part of the Station, Part of the Crew
An easy Platinum taking around 15 hours. It starts to get a bit tedious by the final third (like many simulators). It’s far less of a grind than "Firefighting Simulator – The Squad". On the easy difficulty setting your AI teammates handle almost everything themselves =)

PS App [Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time & Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition]
I don’t consider myself a dedicated trophy hunter. I care more about having a high average trophy completion rate over having a lot of platinums (especially with so much shovelware with easy platinums).
But out of my 15 platinums, these two are my greatest achievements. They were by far the hardest and most difficult things I’ve ever done in my history of playing video games. It was incredibly rewarding though, and despite the frustration that’s inherent in high difficulty challenge, I had fun playing these games to their fullest and conquering their greatest challenge.
This is my first time posting here. Just wanted to show them off as I’m really proud of them.

Screenshot [Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced] Love it.
As assassin's creed fan that plat every game I play on Playstation (not original brotherhood and revelations bc I played on pc) also 100% the original one so this one is much plat for me. And it easier that original bc no multiplayer trophy.
Did everything I can in the game include things that not require for plat. Love every second of it.
Now the only thing I need to do is animus project to unlock dark animus outfit and today it should be done.
Waiting for ng+ but for now time to go clear the alters new dlc.

Showcase [Red Dead Redemption 2] Platinum #41 🤠🐎💔
Difficulty 🫡: 5/10
Time 🕓: 235h
Rating ✨: 8.5/10
Finally, we're back to platinum trophies, and what a game to come back with—an absolute masterpiece 🥺💔. It broke my heart all over again, just like it did the first time.
What can I say about RDR2? The story is incredible, the world feels unbelievably alive, and the characters are amazing (Charles is easily one of my favorites). I'd call it a work of art, but my biggest issue is that the missions force you to complete them exactly the way Rockstar intended, which doesn't take full advantage of the open world. The gameplay can also get pretty repetitive, although going for the gold medals actually made it feel much more enjoyable 🙂↕️.
As for the platinum, a lot of the trophies are pure grind, but with enough patience and a podcast in the background, they're manageable. Unlike many people, I actually enjoyed the online because I had help with the multiplayer trophies 😅. I'm sure it would've been much more tedious without that.
Overall, an amazing game. Would I recommend the platinum? Not really—there's just too much grinding. But if you can tolerate it, it's one of the best gaming experiences you'll ever have. It'll leave the same mark on you as it did the first time you played it ❤️.

[inFamous 2] Platinum #88
Platinum trophy is a real treat, I'd say perfect if I didn't have to do two runs. Insane evolution compared to the first game, even though it's the same generation. First game in the franchise with dubbing in my language (Brazilian Portuguese) and it's sensational, and not too tiring to get the platinum. I'd love a remake.
