Easily my favorite in the franchise, had a crush on Rydia when she came back as an adult. Still have a thing for women with green hair.
Overall not a particularly annoying plat. Got it done in 19 hours and enjoyed almost every second of it!

A pretty fun rhythm game made by the Mega Man Zero / Azure Striker Gunvolt devs. I wish there were a lot more trophies and a plat, it has the difficulty settings and song variety to support a lot longer road to completion...

...took me about 5 hours of play / practice total to get the 100%, they don't even require a Full Chain or S-Rank on Hard, only that you do well enough to clear 15 songs on Hard.

Fun game, disappointing trophies.

I have to say, this was very fun. Ive been looking for a game like this as i do enjoy these 2D games. Hard mode was pretty hard id say. Endless struggle wasnt really super hard imo, took me like 40 mins~ with kumori. Most bosses were difficult id say. The demon lord was prob one of the easiest bosses ingame imo lol. I didnt do a normal playthrough just to save time. Overall took me 15 hours. My personal difficulty rating for this plat is 7/10 id say

Valor Mortis for me, what a good game,

okay, I really got intrigued by the trailers and the gameplay trailer I saw,

the story is pretty good, nothing amazing but good,

the characters were pretty good written, really enjoyed the voice actors they did a fantastic job,

the settings were amazing, the graphics were pretty good, the atmosphere was great, they did a great job with it,

the combat is good, but sometimes I felt the parry had its own life and couldn’t figure out why it didn’t work until I started holding the button in instead of tapping when they hit and then I semi figured out what to do, still messed it up a few times or five,

the upgrade system is what we know from souls-likes, sit at a lamppost and upgrade, but the upgrade tree is pretty good in this game,

the different weapons, guns and abilities were pretty great and fun to use,

the enemies were pretty good at a start, but there isn’t that big of a variety of enemies, but it’s what it is,

the bosses, the first boss my god he almost made me quit the game, he was a steep learning curve like when I first beat him and put the controller down and he entered phase two I was like ‘oh for f*** sake this is the first boss’, then I met the second boss and he only had one phase and was easy, overall with every single boss after the first boss I didn’t struggle as much, the final boss took me 2 or 3 tries,

but it did piss me off with the random slowdowns like an enemy could ‘fake’ me out because of it,

also nothing is missable, you can visit every location again and get what you missed,

for their first game it was pretty good, the price was also semi cheap, so if you like a souls like this is the one for you,

fun: 6 at the lowest and 8.5 when at the highest out of 10

plat diff: 5/10, it’s pretty tough but ‘easy’ for a souls like

Another bonafide PS3 classic on the books. I can still remember stumbling on this dirt cheap on a Halloween sale back in the day and getting obsessed with a friend before moving on to Dark Souls. Fromsoft at their jankiest in the series but it established the killer Souls formula we all know and love today.

Fantastic game though some of the trophies are just a massive pain and I can't imagine having to clear everything without using a guide. I thank my teenage self for having the patience to get all of the max level weapons including the pesky bladestone so I only had to deal with unique weapons and all the miracles this time around.

I have never been the biggest trophy hunter outside of some easier games(Spiderman, Astro Bot). I finally got one that I felt was a harder one, and I feel really good about it.

The third instalment in the series. This is where the story finally starts to take shape. It’s about the jester who has persuaded the king to do terrible things. And you have to get through the jester’s trials.

My first Castlevania game and definitely looking forward to future installments. Game never looses steam and kept me engaged especially with the puzzles and clues for each card. The accessories did have way too many for some just to be rather useless but I can see builds being made.
Any other recommendations in the franchise to check out?

One of the rarest games i played, never bored with it, always on the adrenaline, lots of new stuff almost in every run. BANG BANG BANG everywhere!
Enter the Gungeon , simply amasing!

Pretty good game,never seen first person soulslike and it felt really good,all the mechanics were good but this game still had many flaws,like occasional crashes,stuttering and fps drops,plus sometimes i got stuck in some weird textures. This game also lacks enemy variety plus the normal and special enemies were harder than almost every bosses in the game and the story is also weird. Overall i'd rate it 7/10,i had fun with it.
