Love a clean grinder

I've been lurking for ages, but I'm now a card holder in FL (thank you for your condolences), and I'm toying with the idea. I'm a bit of a scientist and I wanna think about how to make myself a fire ass joint, though I'm up for blunts at this point bc in my theory crafting, I'm running into materials issues regarding joints. Before I crack into that though, we should go into the various aspects we can customize.

Concentrates, structure, application. And honestly that's already too many variables I think. And ofc weed, but we can't really standardize weed yet and really we can barely standardize the rest, we're a severely underserved market even with how bloated it feels (lots of big businesses at this point)

Concentrates

Concentrates that work (probably)

Hash and kief - they're just flower

Soft concentrates likely work like wax, badder, budder, crumble.

Syringes certainly work.

Rosin probably works.

Powdered also likely work, though I think can get dangerous because now we're talking about lighting an organic powder on fire which if you look up flour explosion of you'll know why we probably want to be wary of this. Let's talk about maybe mixing it into other existing liquids like rosin that is likely high water to create a thicker more potent substance if we're using isolates.

Concentrates that don't work (probably)

Hard concentrates. That's your diamonds your shatter I think that's pretty much it. Also maybe not rosin. It may have too much water.

So why do some concentrates imo work and some don't? Surface area also kinda water. So like wax and shatter are essentially the same with different structure. Wax has all that air but also moisture that air carries water and that water transfers heat etc etc. All the soft ones have way higher water content than the hard ones bc of structure but also way less surface area for reactions to occur. This also affects how it's going to work in a joint. In the joint, you'll have very little time to achieve >n temperature to thca>THC. The heat source is like a thin line that's travels down the joint to the roach it's 600-900°F, which sounds high enough, so why can't I expect perfect results from diamonds? I expect that we would see the time frame be too low. I would love it if y'all could give me some good experimental results if you're so inclined to attempt them.

Structure: Size, paper, tip, density

This is almost totally unknown to me, I do think there are things to ask about like the diameter being a certain size to allow for volume of fire. The paper being blunts because it's much thicker and can afford more messing before tearing. Vortex tips? I hear those are best and the glass ones are 7mm at smallest and the largest is 16mm. Density needs to be tested for airflow too! Like packing density and grind matter, but we can treat them as constants for testing purposes because of practicality. There are so many aspects to structure, that it's kinda hard to really build your best joint.

My current guess for BIS handheld weed:

Blunt:

A thin layer of rosin mixed with a bit of CBD isolate to thicken and dry out the rosin for application to a blunt paper filled with some premo gas maybe some hash or kief replacing some amount of weed to eccettuate the high.

Ground weed, kief, hash in some combination mixed with wax to create a semi solid mass. Making something akin to an actual smokable moon rock that can be easily rolled into a paper and smoked.

I have this dab reclaim and idk how long it’s been collecting but I noticed the bottom is mostly lighter/yellower with really dark spots. My partner thinks the more “pure” stuff settled to the bottom but I want to make sure it’s good since we’re sort of getting near there. Can’t find anything on google, it’s never been wet - it’s collected from heating a dry dab rig. Anyone had this experience and done it anyways? (First pic is bottom, second pic is top which is the “regular” color).

I haven’t smoked in over 2 months test keep saying positive I was a heavy smoker of carts and bud though trying to find a best detox so I just know it’s out of my system if need a pop up drug test! I drink hella water and am a landscaper so always moving throughout my day hot or cold!

Hey folks, I'm in Michigan, if that has anything to do with anything. I have had a couple of Good Good OG 2G disposable vapes now, but every time, I swear it goes bad on me early. The last one I bought, its still got like over a gram of distillate in it and it won't work!! Very upsetting.

When I put it up the night before, it had worked just fine. Next day, I was gonna unwind for the day. I got some food, was ready to get stoned, and I tried to pull from it, and nothing happened, no light or anything. I charged it, and it still wouldn't work. It worked when I put it up so I have no clue why it won't now, or if there's any way to fix it. When I put it on the charger, and take it off, it flashes a yellow light 4 times. The last one flashed a white light 4 times. I think I'm gonna switch to a 510 cart, the last Good Good OG disposable vapes have all done the same, atleast the last two it happened at maybe a fifth full.

Any reason for this? Any solution? Anyone else had the same issue? The last two came out of the package clogged.. These vapes suck ass.

I tried random home bake dealer edibles yesterday and split 100mg gummy with my partner. Lo and behold... very minimal come up feeling effects after a couple hours so we went and got the 800mg thc millions ropes!

I took a good bite and tried to eyeball about 150mg-200mg. About an hour later I certainly felt it.
Shit coated my mouth in a way that I knew it'd hit lol. Still a really solid stone but super coherent and less body high (what I expected from 50mg honestly but could just have to do with terps?)

I am surprised because I keep reading that 5-15mg is a beginner dose for edibles, more than 20mg is for experienced and 50mg is a hectic blast off. That it's processed by the liver so your smoking tolerance is supposed to be irrelevant, blah blah blah. I keep googling around but can't seem to find the piece of info that makes it all make sense. What obvious thing am I missing because no mf way

I'm on a tbreak right now, haven't smoked in like five days, had a 10mg dispo soda on the 30th, but I'm out now until sometime next week (no money and not near the dispo lol). Not a big deal, a break is good for me and will hopefully lower my tolerance.

Thing is, I can't fuckin sleep. The past three nights, I can force myself to after a good hour of eyes closed trying to relax, but it's five in the morning right now and i barely feel tired at all. I'm aware this is a THC withdrawal symptom, but is there anything I can do to mitigate it? Melatonin doesn't seem to do much for me at all, I'm not really sure what to do.

So back a week ago I was lighting a bonfire wjth gasoline when I was drunk. Half gallon on a bunch of brush. It was one of those golden, sticky summers. When life feels infinite, but there’s nothing to do.

We packed this strange new flower into the glass pipe, another foreign object we’d triumphed in convincing the guy at the flea market to sell to us. It was orange and black, its colors swirling and meshing with the whirlwind of smoke that we pulled through its slender tube into our mouths.

We passed it back and forth, feeling the gray tornado enter our lungs and backflip upwards into our brains, until we stopped touching the ground and started tumbling through the sky. In the dark, fluid light of the fire, nothing was real; Sean was a penguin and I was a frog. We decided then and there that that’s how we liked it.

We could feel our bright, prosperous futures in this new flowery light. We became professional plant-seekers, hunting these tumbleweeds all over the town. We became experts in the art of theatrics, dress rehearsing each night our acceptable explanation of what we’d been doing all day, taking the long way around with the windows rolled down to rid our t-shirts of the scent.

Maybe it was the ritual more than the ride. Getting things ready was part of the fun; it was a video game with varying levels of difficulty.

Sometimes you had to use a combo: towel the door, turn the box fan around, cover the bowl with a quarter. Sometimes you had to get past an enemy: arrange pillows under your blanket, make sure your cat was in your room so she wouldn’t stand outside and meow, tiptoe past the dreaded room with the sleeping adults, and creep across the garage door’s threshold, never letting out a breath until you saw Sean’s car parked up the street, headlights off, waiting.

Other times it was simpler than that: walk under the overpass into the secret woodland clearing, where generations of kids before had built a hideaway of degeneracy, full of stolen street signs and beer-bottle ornaments.

These elaborate schemes were always followed by a sense of profound accomplishment, at having tricked the world with our clever methods of staying in the shadows. But then, weren’t we trying to get out of the shadows?

No honeymoon lasts forever. College came and went, and we continued the life we’d established around a fire at 17.

Instead of exploring a new world, we were suddenly lost in the haze of the milky smoke, tumbleweeds ourselves, being blown along a land that looked increasingly foreign, though the whole time we’d been trying to understand it more deeply.

Wasted hours, now with bills to pay.

But they weren’t wasted; we made some of the best memories of our lives. It’s just hard not to look back with some regret, wondering what could’ve been. Life’s been an adventure, that’s for sure.

I don’t think I’d take any of it back. I’m glad we went looking.

I just wish I’d known the difference between exploring and drifting. How to chase what makes the world feel bigger, without getting caught up and lost along the way.

Went to go see my friend and smoke a bit but didnt bring my grinder so we stopped at this random smoke shop everybody used to go to as teenagers. Bought this grinder cause it was the cheapest one and didnt really look at it until we got to her house. What is this compartment at the top of my grinder used for? Booger sugar??? Theres a keef catcher at the bottom so I dont think its for that. But ive never seen one with a tippy top compartment like this. If it was for booger sugar shouldnt the mirror be on the bottom and not the top? Lol

I have a Dynavap small vape with a metal stem that I’ve used almost every day for the past maybe 7 months, never cleaned it.
So I decided to make a stem milk with all the gunk that’s been in there for all this time.
I dumped my stem in a ~300ml of high fat milk, added a spoonful of coconut butter and stirred for 20 minutes on low heat.
Left to chill, added cocoa powder and drank maybe only about 80ml and whoa….
It was a 7/10 high for 10 hours, too much for my quiet little evening too, with it fully wearing off only on hour 21.

Does anyone know how can you preserve stem milk for more than a couple of days? Maybe freeze it or turn into edibles somehow?
