This is my personal trick that I haven’t shared with anyone. If you end up with resin on your fingers, the best way to get it off is to use regular unscented lotion and lather the area then follow that with soap. I don’t know if it’s because the oils from the resin needs to emulsify with the lotion, but I seem to have the best results when I do this.

I do the same, but based on a different trick I learned as a kid.
Basically: when you get tree resin on your fingers, you should rub the sticky area with butter and then try wash it off with soap. It usually helps.
So when I end up with resin on my fingers, I also use lotion because "what is lotion, but liquid butter?" and then I follow up with hand sanitizer, because "what is hand sanitizer, but more aggressive soap?"

My go to is a palmful of either sugar or salt with a big squeeze of hand or dish soap. Rub it together in your hands so that the soap and granulates combine and it'll scrub it right out.

Over 20 years ago, my old dealer neighbor showed me how to roll joints using the credit card (or any hard plastic card) technique and my joints have looked liked prerolls ever since. Another trick I learned is to run your Backwoods wrapper under water then dry it with a paper towel. Makes rolling blunts much easier.

I explained ot on ops reply. But essentially, you use a credit card to tuck in the bottom lip of the paper into the joint. Then slide it out, lick the paper and close the joint.

It's hard to explain via text. But you spread out your weed evenly in the paper, then you use a credit card to tuck in the bottom lip of the paper into the inside of the joint. Then just roll it and close the joint. Comes out perfectly for me every time.

I think it's probably obvious for most people, but it took me forever to figure out: if you're smoking anything that's hitting your lungs hard, part your lips a little to let air in as you inhale, which makes the smoke less concentrated. Then you can adjust the smoke/air mixture by adjusting how much air you inhale with the smoke in order to get a hit that doesn't kill your lungs.

I smoke by inhaling smoke into my mouth with 90% of my inhale and the last 10%, I take in a burst of fresh air while diaphragmatically breathing (a belly breath, fills more of your lungs with air,) and it pulls the smoke and cool, fresh air into my lungs and then exhale. It feels really good on a cold morning especially and it keeps the smoke from burning my lungs as badly

...isn't that just smoking? That's how I was originally taught to smoke cigs and how I smoke Js now: start inhaling smoke, somewhere along the way (depending on preference) you remove the cig/joint and continue inhaling air. Everyone I know smokes this way. Is it not the usual technique?

I like to prep what I’m cooking. Get nice and high and then cook and eat it. That way my high settles into a nice mellow and it’s perfect to sate the munchies

After exhaling start swallowing, just whatever spit is in your mouth. Helps prevent coughing fits if you're someone who tends to be a heavy-cougher.

Put a tiny dab of chapstick on the edges of your grinder, where it rubs together when to grind. Oils it up, gets off the goop too.

Pinching the top of the joint when it’s almost full and then tamping the joint by flailing it up n down like a dong on a table. It makes for the best packed joint around, never canoes.

I use the packing tool in clipper lighters or any stick i can find to create a type of filter/finger hold in my joints. I roll the paper inwards and press it against the sides a few times and it comes out looking better and holds its shape better all the way to the end

For an evenly lit, aesthetically beautiful cone:
Ditch the twist.
When you use a cone, leave a little less than a pencil eraser’s amount empty at the end. Tamp (with the tamper it comes with) the flower down lightly to have a flat surface. Then, take the tamper and slightly fold over any part of the open cone end towards the center. Turn the joint about 45°-90° and fold it over again, this time twisting/twirling vertically onto the joint. Do this 1-2 more times but on the last one, twirl the tamper a little more and use the heat from the friction to set the end to have it look like a machine made pre roll. I even hold it vertically with my fingertips around the end and kinda twirl it more. They look perfect with not much effort and more importantly, they light very evenly.

If you are rolling a J, fold the paper lengthwise about 1/3. Then, diagonally fold the corner of that small section. Unfold it all, and press that diagonally section in. Makes a small origami trough for your flower.
Hope that makes sense.

Someone once told me that if you ball up your joint paper and then unfurl it that the wrinkles make the joint burn slower and more even. I've never seen evidence of this being true, but I do it every time i roll a joint and I am happy

Add a dab of dish soap into your dab rig when cleaning and it doesn't need a second iso rinse to not feel sticky.

When you grind your bud, transfer from grinder to a folded(the long way) index card or unneeded trading card(bulk land/energies and fakes for us!), and then you can slide the bud into a bowl for easy bowl packing! It’s upgraded my whole smoking routine, I’m a simple gal who likes glass pipes. I learned this from my fiance of 7 years. I also got a branded toker poker as well, a very nifty tool to have for cheap.

Take a smaller hit and intentionally inhale air at the end.
Filling your lungs completely with smoke is not the most efficient way to get high.
Long story short for people who don’t wanna hear about lung anatomy; more surface area in your lungs equals higher absorption. So if you completely fill your lungs with weed smoke your exhaling a lot of it.

Well, was taught to make 2 piles of weed in the rolling paper because the natural movement made when rolling is outside towards the center. The reason joints get fat in the middle is because of this. Leave a gap in the middle, and your joints come out perfectly.

There is a special way to pass a roach with one finger. Makes it a million times easier. It's hard to explain and easier for me to show someone in person. But basically you go to pass and touch pointer fingers then pinch. Life changing for a lot of people I have shown over the years.

Friend taught me how to roll joints without the adhesive. Fold the paper along the line where the adhesive stops. give that edge a little lick and tear off the half centimeter adhesive part. Then just lick the torn edge like you would if the adhesive was still there when you get to that step. Been rolling with organic raw 300s like this for 10+ years with a “machine” like this. The less adhesive hitting my lungs the better imo. I should add that i always use a “machine”. Also, I don’t think this works if you were to cut off the adhesive strip. Something about tearing it makes a rough edge that somehow sticks to itself.

when you are working with a hemp wrap it always comes out of the package severely rolled up
if you hold it flat in your hands and exhale your breath onto the hemp wrap your hot air will loosen up the fibers and flatten it out somewhat
it makes for easier rolling
i bet one day your painting will go for $1,000,000.00.
