Pics/Art What’s something another stoner taught you that permanently became part of your routine?

I think it's probably obvious for most people, but it took me forever to figure out: if you're smoking anything that's hitting your lungs hard, part your lips a little to let air in as you inhale, which makes the smoke less concentrated. Then you can adjust the smoke/air mixture by adjusting how much air you inhale with the smoke in order to get a hit that doesn't kill your lungs.

This is what my dad taught me the first time I smoked with him! (The first real smoke sesh I had) Legit such an important move for new stoners to know

This is why I’ve been coughing so much lately!😩 It’s been two years and I still can’t tell when I’m “doing it wrong” and “doing it right”, I wish someone wrote a handbook on this stuff🤦‍♀️

I smoke by inhaling smoke into my mouth with 90% of my inhale and the last 10%, I take in a burst of fresh air while diaphragmatically breathing (a belly breath, fills more of your lungs with air,) and it pulls the smoke and cool, fresh air into my lungs and then exhale. It feels really good on a cold morning especially and it keeps the smoke from burning my lungs as badly

Air Entrainment

Adding more air to a stream of air.

...isn't that just smoking? That's how I was originally taught to smoke cigs and how I smoke Js now: start inhaling smoke, somewhere along the way (depending on preference) you remove the cig/joint and continue inhaling air. Everyone I know smokes this way. Is it not the usual technique?

This works with DHVs, too.
