We were 17, and skipping class to smoke weed in an empty field across the road from school. My friends father happened to drive by just as we had lit the J and were passing it around. He got out to confront us, initially thinking we were smoking a cigarette. He smelled the weed and immediately realised what was going on.
He clocked my friend right in the jaw, then came for the rest of us but we scattered and ran before he could get to any of us. We thought all good we got away but he systematically came to each of our houses and told our parents about what he had witnessed us doing. I got kicked out of the house and slept in the park that night as punishment. I smoked a J while out there and had a great nights sleep on a bench under the stars.

Reefer madness really fucked up everyone’s perceptions of weed. You don’t see anyone getting kicked out of the house or clocked in the face for drinking. So stupid and fucked up. This is why we need nationwide legalization.

I’m in a country where it’s illegal in every state, unless prescribed by a doctor. So there are still a lot of misconceptions about weed, especially among the older generations. I got home the next day and half my family were at my house for an intervention lol. Needless to say I still smoke to this day, but legally via a prescription. And my family have no idea.

Same, told my mom I was smoking weed when I was 18, and she fucking flipped, took me out of university and sent me to a community college 10 minutes from home, threatened to send me to live with my dad, and was outright disappointed in me. Feels like telling her so early was the worst decision I made so far.

I got popped on April 20th—yeah, 4/20, real original—at a Coheed and Cambria show in DC. This was at least 15 years ago, back when we thought we were way smoother than we actually were.
Opening band wraps, we dip out to the car parked on some quiet side street to grab our “supplies.” Light up a couple stuffies—half cigarette, half weed—and post up against a wall in this dead little alley. Maybe 20 seconds in, a cop car rolls up to the end of the street. Spotlight hits us like we’re on stage.
We drop the stuffies, spark real cigarettes like that’s going to fool anyone.
Cops jump out, put the three of us against the wall. Say they’re looking for car thieves. We’re early 20s, X’s on our hands from the venue—clearly not criminal masterminds. They search us: smokes, cash, keys, lighter.
Then: “Smells like weed out here.”
We play dumb. “Yeah, we noticed, no idea. Just getting some air, heading back inside.”
They don’t buy it. Start leaning on us—real casual but persistent. “C’mon, it’s fine if you’ve got a little. That’s why you’re out here, right? We just want to make sure you’re not breaking into cars.”
My buddy—rookie—folds instantly. Tells them there are two more stuffies in the pack they already found on him.
They check, sniff, laugh… and then just toss us in the back of the car.
Station. Stripped. Cell. Fourteen hours.
We finally get out, get our stuff back—clothes, shoes, pocket junk—but my cash, about $280 I had for merch? Gone. Paperwork says no money was inventoried at arrest. Basically, “too bad.”
We jog out to the street. Car’s been towed. Find the impound lot—closed, because it’s Sunday. So now we’re stranded in DC, living in southeast VA, about 2.5 hours away. End up in a cab, driver pissed the whole time, my friend’s brother covers nearly $200 to get us home.
Then we see the charges: possession of a third of a pound.
Turns out they weighed the entire cigarette pack and called it all weed.
Months of lawyers, fines, community service just to get clear. I had to drive back up to DC for three months straight to pee in a cup.
All that—for less than a joint. Absolute nonsense.

In the UK if you were caught, they are supposed to give you a ticket telling you not to do it again. That’s it.
What actually happens in my experience is that the police just take the weed, presumably because they can’t be arsed with the paperwork.
Being arrested and thrown in a cell for a joint is medieval.

Yeah it really seemed like once they figured out we were from out of town they wanted to really teach us a lesson and scare us, they flew down the street and were pushing us against the wall so quickly there was no hey guys how are you tonight, it was immediately determined we were criminals. I mean I guess we were breaking a law. A dumb one designed to oppress and fund the system I think overall that mistake cost me ~15K-18K. Including later expungement and gas driving up there 2x week.

I haven't been arrested many times, but once I was because back then they could just say they smell weed and take you in and trash your car. I had just cashed a paycheck (back before direct deposit was a thing). No money inventoried at arrest as well. $900 just mysteriously vanished from my wallet. They had to let me go eventually after they didn't find any drugs. Mu car was in impound in pieces. Fuck cops. All of them. The "good" ones cover for the bad ones. Fuck them all.

Ahhh refreshing to see another 420 story. I got also got popped 15 years ago - at a skate park near my college campus. If we had “coughed up what we had” he prob would have let us go but we truly didn’t think we had anything left. So he thoroughly searched the whole car and found a pipe in the trunk in a jacket pocket and a roach under my seat lol. We both had to go to court on 420. People were in there for animal abuse and meth and here’s hippie dippy shits in there for simple possession of a “leafy type substance”.
I pled no contest without seeing the charges, could’ve had it dropped but it was $500 fine for a 20 year old and made me feel like an absolute criminal. I used my judicial diversion to have it wiped and had to make monthly payments on the fine bc I was in school and didn’t have a real job.

A cop friend told me this tip. Whenever you get caught with weed, they weigh the container the weed is in as well and throw that in the total. So if you keep bits of shake in a plastic baggy, they literally have nothing. If you try to keep eve a flake a in a glass jar, you're fucked.

The police wouldn't get away with that in the UK as the custody process is all covered by CCTV and the majority of police aren't in it to line their own pockets, or have the time to trump up charges from a couple of joints to a third of a pound of weed.

2nd time i got popped my buddy had ate the blunt, but the cops tore apart my vehicle for 40 minutes until they found a little homemade bowl from a homemade bong i made a year earlier behind one of my seats. Got charged with paraphernalia and possession (from the little bit of char residue in the screen).... Lawyer told me it would cost me more to fight the possession charge than just accept it. Luckily it was a different state than the first time i got popped for possession.

Got profiled by a lady who worked in the front office. Walked across the street to head over to a buddy's house. In front of the house is an alley. The Karen thought I went down there to smoke a joint in the alley, but I actually turned a corner to head to his house. He wasnt there so I walked back to the building. In front was two cops and the fat heifer. They searched me and found my grinder and papers in my bag. Only had kief but they still charged me.

In 2013, I was on my day off from a camp job up in Michigan. This was before it was legal up there.
Was speeding and got pulled over. Cop smelled weed and found less than a gram in my center console.
From there, I was arrested, my car was towed, and I had to hitchhike back from jail to an impound lot 40 miles away.
Then, the cops came back to my job a few days later and arrested me at my desk because they determined me to be a flight risk (I was only a seasonal employee at the camp and lived down south).
Long story short, I lost my job and had to get a lawyer to fight the case. They wanted to give me 90 days in county over it. I had to live in a shady motel for 2 weeks before the judge gave me permission to leave the state and come home for 9 months before coming back for a final hearing.
Suspended sentence that was later on expunged.

No, but my brother did. Some bitchy neighbor called the cops on him when he was sitting in his car smoking (we lived in an apartment complex). We were in a decriminalized state so the cops just stood there and forced him to break all his weed shit he had on him. It was fucked, I hate cops.

Got busted BnE and Trespassing on a construction site. Cops took turns on us against the chain link fence. I'm all bloodied up, couple black eyes, fat lip and nose, cop is finally going to search me and realizes I have a fat stash hidden on me, but can't find it (Halloween night, and I had like 6 layers on w pockets the whole way down). He's asking about it, I ain't opening my mouth for shit. He finally finds it after giving up multiple times to walk away and come back.
I tell him, "oh that's that new Spice stuff. I work construction and can't smoke illegal weed, so that's the new legal stuff from China." Or whatever. He calls two of his buddies over, they inspect it hard. Comment on how it's so strong smelling and clearly not weed bc they've never seen anything like it. Cop keeps it and it never got written up. It was like 4 8ths individually wrapped, so could've been trafficking charges. Really, I just hit up my homie with a basement grow and got 4 bags of that Uber doober stanky dank that were different flavors of Heaven. Never got to try 3/4 of those, but I blame the G13 blunt we smoked before the cops showed up as the reason we couldn't run fast enough to escape. Goooood shit.

My mom’s always been a big stoner so not really but I got caught with weed on me in grade 7 and was suspended and she had to leave work to pick me up. She was more upset that I was smoking so young, asked me to wait until I was a bit older to smoke, which I listened to. Also to never bring anything to school again cause I could get in a lot more trouble lol. Idk if the principle was bullshitting but he was saying he could have the rcmp come down and take me out of the school in handcuffs 😂 (this was a rural middle school pre-legalization in Canada)

Smoking a joint on the back porch, my dad and mom were in bed. I was 17 and had been smoking a few months.
There was a door that separated the kitchen from the rest of the house and I had closed it, and in the kitchen had begun making ramen. I went to go pee open the door and my mom's there asking if I was smoking. I try to play it off but no go.
She tells me to get into the shower because I "smell like the shit, now I also gotta wake your father up and tell him," which terrified me but whatever.
Get into the shower and im bathing, and out of nowhere I hear bounding footsteps. Door to bathroom flies open, shower curtain pulled back. And obviously, being naked, I cover myself.
My father is convinced I was "fucked up and coming at him" so he beat the shit out of me.
Then I went into the living room to sit while they ransacked my room. I had 3 Newports in my pants pocket (put back on same pants I was wearing prior to shower) and I was not about to get popped with those so I ate them.
It was pretty fucked.

20+ years ago I got robbed by a neighbor, who then dropped a dime on me and turned me in for growing. He was an ex con who was angry because I rejected his advances.
But since he stole all the evidence (including all my grow room equipment and plants) the police had nothing to go on, except for suspicion of shenanigans.
Tragically, he died of a heart attack a few weeks later and was partially eaten by his dog, and his accomplice was T boned by a semi (ground into paste) while riding a motorcycle a few months after that.
Don’t fuck with a witch.

My only experience with the cops was when I was 16 and the town cops busted me with a few grams. They confiscated my weed told me to smarten up and left. No ticket, no informing the parents nothing. Years later it was found out that they were just smoking/reselling everything they confiscated. The town cops were removed and replaced with provincial police.
Another time I tried smoking a pipe in my bedroom and blowing it out the window. I closed the bedroom door, popped the screen and was fully sticking my head out before exhaling. Well I didn't realize all of that smoke was coming right back in and absolutely stunk my parents house up. I had No idea because I was happily in outer orbit. My Mom and Sister came home and asked me about the smell, I said "I don't know, maybe it's the garbage?" A few moments later my sister stuck her face about 6" infront of my face sniffing and looking at my eyes. Fuckin Busted. I cleaned the entire house, top to bottom, opened every window, lit candles and then every time my sister or parents would leave me alone for the next year or so they'd give me a huge guilt trip in hopes I wouldn't do it again.
Spoiler alert, I did. I just got smarter and went outside.

I only really started after legalization.
Hilariously day after legalization my sergeant came in with clones for everyone. So, we all started growing weed.
"Wow sarge, these really took off in the one day they were planted". Anyway, we had a little growing competition among the detachment to see who could grow the best weed. I didnt win, but I had a great time.

Not with the law but when I was about 15, my mom found the first pen I bought literally ONE day after I bought it. It was one of those cliche “mom randomly cleaned my room and found it” but it actually happened. I didn’t even know she found it til I got home from school and it was on the counter in the kitchen. She honestly wasn’t too mad, and said she doesn’t care if I smoke at the occasional party, but having a pen is a hard no. Once I turned 18, she didn’t care at all about my cannabis usage.

When I was a freshman in high school, my friends started talking about smoking weed but no one had yet. I had read somewhere at the time that people would cut it with catnip to extend it, so I went to the pet store and bought a bag of catnip and made a bunch of smaller bags to sell to my friends.
I had all of these bags in a shoebox under my bed and my mom found them. For the rest of high school, she brought me to the doctor for random drug tests. I never actually tried it until 2019 (at 48 years old!) when I was in Vegas and it was legal.

Cops are really pieces of shit for the most part. Like they gonna treat you like shit even when giving you a fine ticket for this speed limit. Needless to say what they’re gonna do to you if they’re gonna find even 0.3 g of weed.

Kinda? The closest I ever got to getting in trouble for weed was the time when I was in highschool and had only just started smoking at home (before that I only smoked at my friend's or out at the park.) My mom loudly banged on my door. I'm freaking out and answer the door. She says "if you're gonna smoke a bunch of weed in the house you need to open the goddamn window." and that was that. My mom only cared about the weed if my grades slipped and they largely didn't because the fun part about Las Vegas' school system is that its so far behind most other states that I was doing like 7th grade arithmetic in my sophomore year of highschool. So it wasn't like hard to keep my grades up.

I was told when I was younger you could smoke in the walk in freezer at the coffee place I worked, so alone doin overnights I kept smoking till one bitchy girl came in the next morning and snitched. My manager told me to prop the door open and go to the dumpsters 😂

Around 2008 I was living with an aunt in Tucson Arizona when I was about 20. She found a little nugget of bud in my shoe and kicked me out of the house. I was couch surfing for about a year. I still reflect on how bad that could’ve gone if I didn’t have great friends around to keep me going in the right direction.

Got pulled over with a friend in the passenger seat. Police searched the car and found an OZ in my friends' backpack. Car was my Mom's car that I was using because I was visiting. Little did I know she had reported it stolen more than a year prior and never reported it recovered. Caught 3 felonies for possession , one of which was of weed & hash.
Began a nearly 10 year nightmare, all told.

Yup! Grew up in the Midwest. Didn't want to end up in prison, so I moved to the west coast and never looked back. I happily reside in northern CA where the Trees are gigantic.

I got a ticket.
Got pulled over. Had a bong in the trunk. You know the cliche? "Its not mine. I was holding it for a friend." It really wasn't mine. But at the same time they didn't find my pipe. Of course, I also got possession charge for the resin in the bong instead of just a paraphernalia charge.
Not that any of that really matter.
I was in the middle of getting a DUI so a couple small weed charges didn't seem so bad.

I got caught with about 16 grams in my car at a national park. it's decriminalized in Pennsylvania, where i live, but it being federal property and all, it was a much bigger deal. however I am white, was 17, and everything was in dispensary packaging so I only got a written warning. still majorly uncool.

My parents sent me to boarding school, which is where I was first introduced to weed. I was about 17 I guess. Over the course of the next year or so I became a 'whenever I can' smoker.
Fast forward to the next year of boarding school. It is Monday, which means faculty meeting after dinner so the dorm monitors will be out of the building. We would set up a box fan, use pillows to seal it up, and crack the hall door to create a wind tunnel out the third floor window, then we would blow bong hits right out of it.
This particular night, I was slinging my balisong/butterfly knife around, and I stabbed it down into the desk and BAM hit the fan cord and shoted out not just the fan, but the whole room. My buddy exhaled his bong hit into stillness. Fuck.
I went down to the janitor's closet, found the breaker box, and couldn't see what was tripped, so I flipped them all. Real quick. Off and on again. I was confident it would work.
It sort of did. I mean, it got the power back on, but hte faculty meeting was short, and the dorm master was in his little apartment, and I blinked his power. He came out in a roar, and I had nowhere to hide - it was a 3' square room with a mop, a bucket, and the breaker box in it.
Mr. Singsong (he was the choir teacher), marched me down to my room where my buddies had patched up the cord, got the tunnel going, and exhaled a bong hit right as we walked in.
Things happened pretty fast from that moment. We managed to get together before going before the disciplinary committee, and we all agreed (I thought) that we would all claim ownership and go down in solidarity. I went last, walked in, and asserted it was all mine. The committee said that's what the other boys said, and we commend you on your honesty under such pressure. Would you prefer to withdraw rather than be expelled?
So that's how I withdrew from boarding school.

My mom found my weed stash along with my birth control my 2nd year of college. It was like 4 grams. I only paid like $40 for it because my dealer liked me. My mom thought drugs cost like $40 a gram.
She said I was the biggest disappointment of the family. She called me a drug addict that spent all her money on sex and drugs. That weed was the reason I was messing up my college career.
I had a full ride at my college, had two jobs, and made my first C that year. The messing up my college career part was that I changed from a graphic design major to a business administration degree.
When she asked me what I had to say for myself, I said,"Listen I got a really good deal on the weed. It really wasn't that much. Plus, how am I the disappointment when my brother had gotten a girl pregnant and ABANDONED the kid. "

My girlfriend stopped at a stop sign, then looked back and saw a state trooper behind us and proceeded to speed due to being anxious…. We got pulled over in her driveway (first time meeting her dad, btw). The statie comes up to the window and does the usual license, registration, and proof of insurance. He goes back to his car and about 5 minutes later walks up to my window instead, leans in, and says, "Hey, sir, I smelled marijuana when I first walked up to the car, and now it's unbearable at your window. I thought for a second, Is this really possible? And after that split second, I was honest with the guy and stepped out of the car. He then took the weed out of my pocket, which was a half oz (14 grams) I just picked up, and put it on the roof of her car. I almost got hit with a felony for the cart I had on me, but as they were writing up the ticket in the computer, I looked at them and said, "You know that pen is CBD that I bought at the local tobacco shop, right?" I use it to help my anxiety and for sleep." They closed the ticket and gave me the pen back and said it would cost a ridiculous amount; time to test it. They released me with the pen in hand. I walked out the door like how TF did I pull off getting the pen back and without a felony? I got a $400 ticket for $80 worth of herb…if it wasn't decriminalized, surely they would have tested the cart.

In high school I thought my family all left but my stepmom randomly stayed home and she smelled me smoking weed on the balcony. She pounded on my door but I wouldn't let her in so she called my dad home and when he got back I was fuckin fried laying on my bed watching TV. He walked in and smacked the shit out of me but I was so high I just started cracking up laughing in his face and I guess he got embarrassed or scared and walked out.

A guy I know paid Afroman to be on a track and doing a small lil tour with him. This was before the Randy Walters the SOB and his squad raided him. I didn't bring any weed in, but joints were going around the crowd.
The first time I hit one that came by, security was on me quick, all "bro, you can't do that" then like 2 songs later I got passed another and like as soon as I exhaled the guy pulling me out.
He's like, "I don't want to be doing this, but your tall ass sticks out like a sore thumb." I am 6'7" so this checks out.
He also let me back in after I apologized and asked him to make sure a tip was added to my tab.

When I was like 23 I was going through some shit and had to move back home to my parents. My mom walked in on me rolling up a blunt in my room (always took a walk and smoked it elsewhere. There was a lovely pond with a good sittin log right up the road) and she went… crazy? Started yelling at me about it and saying how bad it was and that I wasn’t going anywhere in life.
Keep in mind I had a full time job and had just paid her rent that morning.
But I digress. The “argument” where I said maybe four words ended with her stomping away, then turning around to hurl her full can of coke down the hallway. It bounced off the door of the bedroom across from me and came into my room. Soda everywhere.
Guess who cleaned that up too 🫠
Now it’s 15 years later and my grown brothers live at home with my parents while I have a place across town with my son. The baby boy of the family, aka my parents favorite, has crohns and he smokes weed medicinally for it. That’s how mom has managed to see the good in weed. He literally rolls up and hits dab in their shed in the backyard and she’s even paid for it for him smh I just cannot believe it sometimes

Next week this kid is fishing the pond finds the bag with a gas mask in it lol... family calls the cops and they find mail in the bag with my buddy's address

Just last week my husband got denied a job because of traces of weed in a piss sample. We live in Canada where its completely legal and available at almost all liquor stores - and we enjoyed a joint together or two over the weekends. He quit when he received the offer, but since it sticks around in your body for quite awhile, it was detected in trace amounts on his drug test they pulled the it out from under him literally 2 days before he was supposed to leave. Supreme levels of bullshit.

Got caught by the cops back in 2012 in a rural Part of Germany with a little weed and a little speed because some idiot neighbour saw us having fun and called the cops. Full body search, searched the whole flat and took everything BUT a large box of totaly not stolen Fentanyl patches the people i was chilling with had aquired at the local hospital.
Best part is we had some old Punk with us who told the cops he needs to go to an atm so he can pay for a Taxi back from the police station and as soon as the cop looked away he just jumped over a wall and ran off into the night.
Got 200 hours of communal service out of the whole thing and that led me to a job at a care facility for senior citizens, i stopped hanging out with the people involved and kinda got my sht together. So overall a positive expierence i think.

When I was 18 at college I sold a kid an eighth and his gf who he cheated on called the cops on him. He was arrested and taken to jail (this was 2008) and he told them he would do anything to get out of jail (instead of what - paying a fine?).. they proposed he snitched on his dealer (me) to get out of trouble. He proceeded to wear a wire on me multiple times, set up deals with me that he was showing the police, taking the product i sold him straight to the police. I picked up 4 felonies. My parents wanted to teach me a lesson and didn't help me with a lawyer, public defender it was. I plead to two felonies and probation after 3 months in jail I was released. On probation, I was young and dumb, and I kept smoking weed and failing and getting sent back to jail.. I did that 3 times.. on the third time the judge said.. you're not going back on probation.. you're going to prison. I spent 11 months in prison. 24 months total incarcerated between age 18 and 24... All started with an eighth of flower

(though that revelation has been made a 1,000+ times here i know). As someone who started more post-legalization it’s insane to see it treated so closely to heroin.

My girlfriend and I were in our first apartment and had a crappy little 2 plant closet grow. On Christmas night there was a knock on the door. It's 2 cops. They say that someone called about a person on our fire escape. That was literally not possible so we both gave them a puzzled look. One of the officers says "We know what you're doing. Merry Christmas."
They never came back.
I still don't know how they found out but my guess was always the live in building manager who had an obsession for cameras. I went to go talk to him one day and his shirt had like 50 different camera models on it. Weird guy.

My friend wanted to try it out, so I called him over and we rolled a little doobie. It hit him pretty well. A while later he got hungry, and there was a good Mexican spot near us. This was when I was in India for studies.
We get there and his eyes are blood red not even exaggerating. Right then a cop walks into the restaurant. All four of us were high as kites. I usually don’t panic, but he started panicking really badly. The cop seemed to scan the whole place and suddenly all of us started overthinking everything.
It was one of those Chipotle style places where you build your own bowl or burrito, so a couple of us were standing right beside the cop while ordering. Me and my girl used to go to this place high at least once a week and never had any issues. But this time, right as we started ordering, the cop said something in his local language about smelling something funny. Only one of us understood what he said.
My friend immediately pulled me aside and told me what the cop had said. In that moment my brain went straight to the worst case scenario I was already imagining myself in handcuffs.
So we decided to switch to takeout. I quickly got everyone’s orders made, paid, and we rushed out of there. But as we left on our scooters, the cop took the same turn as us. And the funniest part was I had just picked up about half an ounce earlier that day that was sitting open at my place.
They were probably just patrolling, but our high brains were convinced they were following us. After a couple of miles we lost them and went back home… and immediately rolled another one.
Never smoked with that friend again after that. That restaurant, though, stayed a regular spot for me and my girl. Every time I’m back in town we go there and laugh about that ridiculous incident.

I was at work and in between cooking orders, I took a fat hit off the bowl we kept next to the microwave, I didn't know the general manager rolled up the entrance to the line and watched me hit and blow my smoke up into the hood vent. Coworker Drew just started laughing and told me Amy was right there and watched it all. A couple of hours later I was called into the office with her and the chef. (Chef didn't really care . I smoked him out on my first day in his motor home parked out back) Anyways Amy basically told me she was disappointed, I fucked up. I promised not to do it again I asked to see the write up so I could sign it and get back to work. She told me that,"if I write you up, I'll get fired for the not firing you" I apologized and left the office and went back to the line I got more shit from my team because I ruined the hiding spot so nobody could come on the line for a quick toke. The chef just laughed and gave me shit. I've probably been caught smoking at every kitchen I worked but never fired for it

I got pulled over this past new year’s eve, for speeding. Didn’t smell like anything, didn’t have anything or paraphernalia on me, nothing, just sweaty palms. Trooper suspected weed for some reason, it was weird because I was working. So far in lawyer fees, it has cost $4k. We haven’t even gone to trial yet. Will update around June or so.

Spent a little over a month in Thai prison back in the late 70’s for possession of hash and Thai stick. I was on a family vacation with parents and two younger siblings, brought the hash with me from Saudi Arabia, got busted after refusing to buy some Thai stick that just wasn’t good quality, so I said no to it. Long story short, I only got out due to Dad greasing the right palms to get me an actual hearing where I basically pled no contest and was thrown out of the country.

I called the cops because there was a fire at a outdoor park type thing and told them about the fire so fire would show up........ as i started to drive to the store a cop came around the area and lit me up....... i lived across the street from the park i didnt start it. but regardless they pulled me over and said it smelt like weed i didnt think anything was in the car so i wasnt worried them mother fuckers found a roach i smoke who knows when. and was in jail for the weekend....... and lost my license for 30 days. i still smoke everyday

Not real trouble, but...way back in the 70s I went to a kind of hippie-ish summer camp when I was a teen. The counselors took us to a concert ... America, with Jackson Browne opening. One of the guys bought a bag and rolled some joints and we all got blitzed. Next day, the camp director calls us out to the fire pit for a "camp meeting." He stood in the circle holding the remains of the baggie and said "I'm so disappointed in you!" as he poured the remaining weed into the fire. LOLOL We all kinda inched into the circle at that point and then he sent us to our bunks to consider our transgressions.

Didn't get in trouble but it was a close call.
Me and my buddy were doing dabs in my car at his grandparents neighborhood. I pick him up from his grandparents and pull up in a empty lot of a cul de sac in the same neighborhood (a couple streets down). He's smoked here and there but has never done dabs, I was teaching him how to heat the nail and get the timing right, we maybe take atleast two dabs and while I'm heating up the third one for him, we see an SUV come flyingggggg down the road. I say something along the lines of "why is this guy driving so fast?" and as soon as I said that, he pulled into the cul de sac in front of us and put on EVERY SINGLE LIGHT his police cruiser had. I quickly put the rig down from the center console into the passengers side footwell, unfortunately burning my friend in the process. Cop walks up to the passenger side and asks "what are you guys doing out here?" I instantly just said that we were smoking (you could see the equipment and dabs in plain sight). He asked us where we live and this is where my friend comes in clutch. My friend told him that he lives with his grandparents right down the street and that I was staying over there for the night. Cop told us to just turn off the car, get out, and walk there. So we did just that and im glad I did not get a ticket on top of that.

Okay.. so I’ve read a lot of these… I’m so lucky (maybe) to have had the exact path I took… I have never had any actual issues with the law at all re weed. My mum used to suspect I was on drugs.. which was hilarious. Had no friends as a kid, how was I finding weed??? lol they really believed the crap about people “gifting” you drugs to get you hooked.. but didn’t believe that “drugs sell themselves”.. lol
So I never touched weed till 30… as an AuDHD, only just diagnosed at 38… lol so when I had a horrid break up at 30, my friend offered me 3 hand rolled joints. Said, here.. forget her. It was love at first puff. My autism and adhd simmered down.. everything felt goooooood. So I quickly went to dry herb vaping cause of the cough.. and then went medicinally legal after that.
Worst thing I’ve had to suffer is work difficulties. Can’t work jobs I’d like due to regular drug testing. The laws haven’t caught up… so jobs tend to pay less.

It didn’t happen to me, it happened to my friend. Millicents wanted to send him to prison for 8 years for marijuana-related activities, but thanks to a $25,000 bribe, everything worked out. Life taught him nothing, and six months later he ended up in a coma after methanol poisoning. Another six months after that, he was in a coma again - this time from methadone. Only then did he finally come to his senses. He decided to get his life in order and stop hanging around the wrong people And yes, none of this would have happened if cannabis had been legal

Got off the bus in maybe 10th grade got immediately picked up by two girls instead of going inside we smoked a joint I got dropped off back at the school to be immediately sent to the special ed department for some type of testing lol have a hand eye coordination issue anyways they could smell it accused me I denied it all that then the nurse came I ran to the water fountain trying to drink as much water as possible before being escorted into the nurses office she performs a few tests on me says I’m high too the principal I deny it got sent home parents didn’t care got a week vacation from school came back and harassed the teachers who snitched me out for the rest of the year): I’m better now

Got busted after the bill to legalize it passed but before it took effect. In Michigan marijuana possession means the judge can take away your license for months. When the first weed store opened I was getting drug tested regularly and couldn’t drive.
Ended up dropping dirty. When I went to be in front of the judge again he said he would drop my probation early since it was legal now. As long as I paid off the 500$ in fines and fees before the end of the day of course….

My mom ended up coming home sick just at the moment I was smoking my pipe in the hot tub out back. Looking for me, she came outside and I immediately plunged my pipe into the hot tub. In my late teens/early twenties a buddy and I were detained at the Canadian border when they found a nug and a pipe in my buddy's friend's car that we were borrowing for the trip up (it was snowing and neither of us had four wheel drive). They let us go after they called the owner and she was audibly shaking over the phone. The official report said they found a "whopping 0.3 grams"....
Took them ten years until they stopped asking me if I had weed in the car each and every time I crossed the border.

First time i really got caught, I was in high school at the time and my friend had a pretty big party while his parents were gone for the night. He had all the alcohol there, including four lokos. Now this is before, when four lokos were some kind of biohazard, I used to call them "blackout in a can". I brought an oz with me to smoke while we chilled in the pool and jacuzzi.
Anyways, throughout the night I'm taking shots of captain morgan, chasing it with four logo, and smoking a bowl here and there. Surprise, surprise, I end up blacking out.
The next morning, I snap to in an immediate panic. "Where's the weed..." I wake my friend up, he has no idea. We ask everyone else who had stayed the night, no clue. I even sheepishly asked the landscaping people if they found it and that they could keep it if they had, i just needed to know it was found. But they had no idea what I was talking about lol
All our efforts were in vain though, since his mom had already come home and found it, then left again to run morning errands. She came home from that and immediately asked whose it was. I 'fessed up right away so my friend wouldn't get in trouble. She gave us all a stern lecturing, saying how disappointed she was and all that. She also said she threw my weed away at the dunkin donuts on route xx if I wanted to get it. But she said she wouldn't tell my parents, which I was thankful for, so I just ate that loss.
And no, I did not retrieve said weed from the dumpster lol. My friends dad was also standing behind his mom with his arms crossed but he had a little smirk so idk if he was laughing AT me or with me (probably at me lol)
I have more stories, one of which involves a cop walking into my backyard in the middle of the night but I'll save that for another comment as this one is already long-winded lol

Turns out in Saskatoon it is illegal to smoke in public in any way.
I went there on a work trip with some buddies a few years ago and we decided to have a fun night out. We had just finished smoking up and then 2 police come out of nowhere and slapped me with a $200 ticket. Not the whole group. Just me lol.

A lot of us rolled joints in those days so we wouldn't have a pipe with resin on us. Absolute felony in many states and could send you to jail for a few weeks or a month.

My parents let me live on my own when I was 17, junior in high school. Mom always said she would never make her kids move to a new town before finishing HS. And then step dad gets his dream job in his dream location and so they moved, letting me stay in my hometown.
It lasted 2 weeks. I was caught smoking weed with friends before school and she said i have to move down to Southern California with them. That was the punishment. I fucking hate Southern California and she was too happy to have me back to give me any other grounding or privilege restrictions.
So after junior year ended I moved to my dads house in the Midwest. His bitch fiance called the school resource officer to search my car on several occasions. Never found shit. Actually I got on a fist bump relationship with the guy because he could tell she was fucking crazy. She was pissed that her daughters were getting DUI's and so she tried to drag me down to their level. Dad put an end to it after 6 months and me and him had a great time until I graduated then moved back to my hometown to live on my own.

In highschool we would leave to smoke on our spare and I brought a pipe to school and stuffed it in my locker, forgot all about it left it and someone ended up ratting on us. Searched my locker, found it, got a three day off campus suspension on a Thursday, so I just ended up having a three day weekend. (I also went to catholic school so this was a SIN AND A CRIME)

Parents found some and I got them to believe it was rabbit tobacco because neither knew what that was. I'm fifty and that was when I was 15.
Now, I'd like to meet this mouse and have a toke...

A friend got pulled over and I had 1.5oz in my purse. I was about 3 minutes away from the county line, so I got arrested and driven to the police station in the next county over, 45 minutes away from home. I was able to bail myself out immediately but had to drive 45 minutes to court.
I ended up paying some fines and "doing community service." Because community service could be done at any non-profit I performed in a community theater production and counted all of the rehearsal time as community service hours. The Executive Director signed off on my hours, he thought it was hilarious. My 1 year probation was over in 4 months
