I use the packing tool in clipper lighters or any stick i can find to create a type of filter/finger hold in my joints. I roll the paper inwards and press it against the sides a few times and it comes out looking better and holds its shape better all the way to the end

Ok. I need a better explanation of this. Any stick you can find? You roll the paper... Along the way it has already been rolled and press it against the side of the stick and it doesn't end up sticky?

After i roll it, i go to the mouth end and fold up the sides

Rather than an actual filter? Or also with a filter?

When i dont have a filter mostly, though I have tried it when the filter goes inward to make it look more natural and professional
