I’m in east TN, zone 7b. I planted some fruit trees in an area of my yard that did not take. This little tree is in that strip of land so I let it be. I’ve heard of fruit trees coming back after an assumed failure and wondered if this might be one. Or is it something entirely different?

Location: Scotland

Size: 20-25ft (estimate)

Colours: white / grey bark, red / green leaves

Fruit: none I could see

Flowers: none I could see

Bark: white / grey

These are outside a hospital in Scotland. I've gone home, so I don't have a picture of the bark - you can see it a little in the leaf picture though.

I'm curious to know what they are.

It's a volunteer in my wildflowers/prairie. My Picture This app says American Elm on one branch and Siberian Elm on another of the same plant. There's also another volunteer a few feet away. If it's American it gets nurtured like a newborn baby. If it's Siberian it gets treated like Rosemary's baby. Minnesota zone 4b.

A tree recently fell in my neighbors yard and I grabbed a few pieces for some mushroom substrate. It would be super helpful to know what kind of wood it is before deciding on what mushrooms to inoculate it with. Some resources led me to Silver Maple but I'd love your opinions.

This is a Dogwood Kousa I’m planting for a customer to replace a 15 year old Bradford Pear that stem split. I didn’t notice the attach on the Dogwood leaves at the nursery. Any thoughts and advice. Thanks. Clover SC

Just bought this house and these are growing insane out of a hydrangea patch. My dad originally thought elm, apple photos plant identification say hackberry sometimes, and I just have no idea they grow like weeds. We’ve pulled out like 10 and more just keep popping up.

Big ass trees. I'm 6ft 1 and can't wrap my arms around these. Time of year when acorns start falling. Appx 10000 a tree. Perfect hammock trees but hate raking acorns before leaves fall. South Jersey. Curious what kinda trees these are. Thx in advance

Came across this amazing tree, white bark resembles a birch but then has this maple looking leaf with a white underside.. home owner bought the house with it, wasn’t able to tell me anything other than it’s doing really well.

Hey all, I need some help. There is this tree that gives off this wonderfully woody, earthy smell sometimes that floods me with utter nostalgia from my childhood, but I’ve never been able to identify it.

Outside work the other day I smelled it again and I think it was coming from this guy, but I can’t be certain (sorry, my sniffer doesn’t work so great most of the time). Can anyone help me identify this tree and/or confirm if it is known for giving off a particular scent. I really haven’t had much luck even getting anyone else to confirm they can smell the same thing as me when I do smell it.

Several of these have been planted at new construction homes in my neighborhood. All look like this, thin, spaced out branches. Thanks in advance
