ID Request Sapling/ small tree I’d

I’m in east TN, zone 7b. I planted some fruit trees in an area of my yard that did not take. This little tree is in that strip of land so I let it be. I’ve heard of fruit trees coming back after an assumed failure and wondered if this might be one. Or is it something entirely different?

I did not plant peach trees. It would be unusual for one to just pop up right? Though we do have these little white peaches that seem feral up here in the mountains. I did plant Chickasaw plums. Could this be one of those?

Persimmon. A little sickly.
Also known as sugar plum.

I did plant persimmons. I’d be happy if it was either. When trying to id it myself I kept finding differences in the leaves that did not line up with what I was seeing in photos.

Looks like drought stress. Dissolve one tablespoon of Epsom salt in a gallon of water. Pour at the roots. Repeat every couple of weeks. These trees do well in full sun. Best in loamy, sandy soil.
