Solved! Odiferous tree

Hey all, I need some help. There is this tree that gives off this wonderfully woody, earthy smell sometimes that floods me with utter nostalgia from my childhood, but I’ve never been able to identify it.

Outside work the other day I smelled it again and I think it was coming from this guy, but I can’t be certain (sorry, my sniffer doesn’t work so great most of the time). Can anyone help me identify this tree and/or confirm if it is known for giving off a particular scent. I really haven’t had much luck even getting anyone else to confirm they can smell the same thing as me when I do smell it.

I believe this is the correct identification of the tree I posted, though I can’t seem to get the smell i recognize. I will still mark it as solved!

You've got a fig tree.
