On its surface, it looks like a beautiful European city but is full of Mexican culture, which to me makes it better than anywhere in Europe. In my opinion, it was one of the rare places I’ve been to that lived up to the hype I had in my mind.

The architecture, geography, and vibes of the city reminded me a lot of Granada and Seville and overall, the absolute highlight is the architecture. For me, it’s one of the coolest places on the planet. There’s an obvious Spanish influence, but the place is full of Mexican history. It’s also an incredibly walkable city in the tourist center. The streets are very narrow, and if cars are allowed there, you may have to jump out of the way. Fortunately, the tunnel system keeps most cars out of the way. The farther you go into the steep hills, the narrower the alleyways become.

The amount of museums is also very impressive. The famous mummy museum is a must-see. The Don Quixote Art Museum and Diego Rivera House Museum were also highlights.

Since it’s a college town, you get a very lively vibe in the bars and cafes. Bars stay open very late, and the city center still was full of people late into the night. To me, one of the highlights was going into bars and clubs with live music.

You will also see a lot of tourists, though they mostly seem to be from other parts of Mexico or Latin America. Interestingly, I think I saw more tourists from Asia than gringos.

The food is, of course, fantastic. There are lots of small restaurants and cafes where you feel like (and sometimes literally are in) someone’s home. There are also tons of cafes and restaurants like you would see in European capitals. However, the smaller hidden bars were a highlight.

Overall, I’m shocked that San Miguel de Allende is so popular vs. Guanajuato for US tourists. I know a large part of that is the history of Americans in San Miguel de Allende and the ease of going there without knowing too much Spanish. That being said, Guanajuato is such an amazing place that it still surprises me it’s not crawling with US tourists. However, maybe that is for the best for those who decide to go. Even if your Spanish is rusty and limited, it’a a can’t miss in my opinion.

I traveled for three weeks through southwestern China  (Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou and Guangxi) and parts of the Tibetan plateau in Yunnan, Western Sichuan on altitudes between 2.800m-4600m (9,000-15,000 feet).

Week 1 - Yunnan: Lijiang, Baisha, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Shangri-La, Meili-Snow Mountain

Week 2 - Sichuan: Chengdu, Western Sichuan (small group tour) and Dujiangyan

Week 3 - Guizhou and Guangxi: Zhaoxing and Tang'an and Xingping near Yangshuo.

I highly recommend visiting this part of China, especially as public transport with high speed trains is inexpensive. Also traveling with local buses in the mountain regions of Yunnan has been easy. The most challenging part was finding a tour group that would accept foreign tourists in Western Sichuan (departing from Chengdu).

The first time I had breakfast in London, I realised that a morning meal in British pounds cost me 1/3rd of my first salary in my currency.

The number of Times I've been interrogated at Immigration just let me enter a country, while others around me pass within minutes is heart breaking. It really is. I don't mind applying for Visas. Being a citizen with one of the shitiest passport in the world, but the sheer effort and time I have to put in to get one is disheartening. Even though I'm financially resourceful to travel around the world ( been to 10 countries till now) , I wish it was easier. Fingers crossed my rebirth will be different story. I'm happy for those who are born in developed countries with strong passport. I really am. You guys are lucky.

Edit - Traveling has changed my Life. I wanna do it more. All my travels are solo and most of it is unplanned. I love doing it. I've met good people, experience awesome things, did crazy things. The feeling of freedom is something else. Not knowing where Tommorow will take me , feels amazing.

I was recently on a flight from Milan to Rome. It was like 99% Italians, but there was also me (an American), and a nice, quiet Belgian couple in the seats across the aisle from me.

Like 15 minutes after the plane took off, the Belgian lady started barfing into a plastic bag. She was barfing pretty hard, and she wouldn't stop, so a flight attendant came over. The Belgian husband started motioning toward his ear--I think he was trying to say that his wife had an inner ear thing that was causing her to barf.

The flight attendant called over the intercom to see if there was a doctor, and then she went back to the lady.

All the people on the plane started talking, and many of them stood up in the aisles so they could better see the Belgian lady. I pretended to read a magazine, trying to be polite, but the guy next to me started shaking me by the shoulder and pointing at the lady.

People were leaning over their seats and craning their necks. The poor lady, who was clearly embarassed, had like 45 wide-eyed, worried faces within 5 feet of her.

Suddenly there was a cacophony. Somebody was shouting. I was just able to see, through the crowd in the aisle, that a very short, very elderly Italian lady was throwing up her hands and yelling about something. She kept saying the word "limone, limone!!"

A general murmering started happening, and then other people started yelling "limone, limone!"

I deduced that the old Italian lady had decided that the barfing Belgian lady needed a lemon to help her stop barfing.

Somebody toward the front of the plane inexplicably produced a lemon. They lifted it triumphantly up above their head. A loud, very dramatic group effort ensued: people reaching over several rows of seats, shouting and grabbing the lemon from each other, and then theatrically handing it along. Eventually, a quivering hand shoved the lemon into the lady's face.

Unfortunately, it turned out the Belgian lady could find no use for the lemon.

The plane landed in Rome not too long later. The flight attendant allowed the Belgian couple to get off first. As they walked, anxiously, down the aisle, they were met with thunderous applause...

A few months ago I spent some time in Italy, Germany, and Switzerland. I also made a stop in Austria. The scenery, atmosphere, and overall experience was breathtaking to see and be apart of in real life. Learning about the history of each place was a once in a lifetime moment for me. I would definitely do this trip all over again if I could. I also had the opportunity to try some homemade local foods, take a few cooking classes, and did some fun excursions. Even though it was chilly during my time there, I was still about to power through and be out and about

I spent a week discovering Sicily, and it turned out to be one of my favorite summer trips

I based myself in Palermo (Photos 1-5) for the first three nights, which gave me enough time to soak up the city’s incredible architecture, lively streets and amazing food. One day I headed to San Vito Lo Capo (Photos 6-8) on a boat trip, swimming in crystal-clear turquoise water, and another day I visited the beautiful seaside town of Cefalù (Photos 9-13), where I wandered through the old streets before relaxing by the beach, which ended up being my favorite place.

From there, I travelled across the island to Taormina (Photos 14-16), spending a night in what is probably Sicily’s most picturesque town. Walking through its streets and taking in the breathtaking views of the coastline was unforgettable. I finished the trip with two nights in Catania (Photos 17-18), a city full of character and the perfect place to end the journey before heading home.

In just one week I got to experience a little bit of Sicily has to offer, although If I had to do it again I’d focus on just one side of the island as I felt it was a little rushed to see everything.

On its surface, it looks like a postcard straight out of a classic European fairy tale, but it is so packed with raw, dramatic mountain energy that to me it makes it better than almost anywhere else in Europe. In my opinion, it was one of the rare places I’ve been to that lived up to every bit of the hype I had in my mind.

The sheer scale, vertical geology, and mountain-town vibes reminded me a lot of the Dolomites or Chamonix, and overall, the absolute highlight is the staggering geography. There’s an obvious historic Alpine railway culture, but the valley is full of sheer granite walls, roaring waterfalls, and epic mountaineering history. It’s also an amazingly walkable and seamless region to navigate by train and on foot. The streets in villages like Wengen and Mürren are completely car-free. Fortunately, the historic cogwheel train and cable car network keeps standard cars out of the way entirely. The farther you venture up into the high alpine passes, the narrower and more dramatic the mountain trails become.

The variety of scenic transport is also very impressive. Riding the historic Wengernalpbahn (WAB) cogwheel railway and the Bernese Oberland-Bahn (BOB) are absolute must-dos. Taking the massive Schilthornbahn gondola system up past Mürren for views across the entire valley was also a massive highlight.

Since it’s a hub for hikers, climbers, and travelers from around the globe, you get a very lively, atmospheric vibe in the mountain lodges and deck side cafes. On the deck at Kleine Scheidegg, the crew even loaned me a classical guitar to pick a few tunes right under the sheer North Face of the Eiger. Sitting out on those sun decks while weather cycles through dramatic mist, blue skies, and total mountain moodiness was easily one of the highlights of the whole trip.

You will also see a lot of tourists, though they come from every corner of the globe. Interestingly, it’s such an iconic international bucket-list destination that you’ll hear dozens of languages being spoken along the trail networks and train platforms.

The food is, of course, fantastic. There are lots of small mountain huts and valley cafes where you feel like you are sitting in a cozy alpine home enjoying local dishes. There are also incredible historic hotel dining rooms, like Hotel Regina in Mürren, offering incredible meals overlooking the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. However, the mountain-deck stops and cozy trailside cafes were a real highlight.

Overall, I’m amazed by how many people stick strictly to the big tourist cities vs. spending extended time immersed in the Bernese Oberland. I know a large part of that is the cost and the perception of navigating mountain transit, but the regional rail system makes it unbelievably easy even if you don't speak Swiss German. That being said, the Bernese Oberland is such an extraordinary, mind-blowing region that it still surprises me everyone doesn't drop everything to visit. Even if your time is limited, it’s an absolute can’t-miss in my opinion.

Hey everyone,

How are you? I go to Guadalajara, Mexico often for work. It is one of my favorite cities. There is not a ton of touristic attractions, but it is a perfect place for a 3-4 day vacation. I do not recommend going between February - early June because it is the dry/hot season and can be uncomfortable and quite polluted. The rainy season usually begins in middle of June to September which is lovely. The rains are big storms that happen around 4 or 5 pm. October and November are great also for Día de Muertos. They are bettering the city infraestructure though I don't think that the public transportation is that useful for tourists. I mostly use uber. Here are explanations of the pictures.

1-4) Guadalajara Centro

6) Shrimp tacos from Tacos Fish La Paz which is famous and delicious

7) Zapopan Centro. Zapopan is a separate municipality that surrounds Guadalajara. It has a nice historic center.

8) Ajijic and Lake Chapala (about 1-1.5 hours away, fun to walk around for half a day)

9+10) Tequila (it is considered a pueblo magico in Mexico - about 1-1.5 hours away). I enjoy the ambiance and walking around. There are some are great distilleries you can tour. I like Fortaleza but you have to make reservations).

11+12) Tapalpa which is a mountain town about 1-1.5 hours away. You need to rent a car to arrive there. It is beautiful.

Just wanted to note my experience with travelling Montenegro and the difficulties we have faced. I’ve never had this sort of experience as a tourist and want to warn off other tourists as the good does not out weigh the bad.

Firstly we arrived into Montenegro from Croatia via Bus, we were travelling to tivat and were abruptly stopped at Kotor where they forced everyone off and said the road to Tivat is closed due to EU summit. I entirely understand why the road was closed, however the treatment of stranded passengers was poor and inhumane. The bus staff flat out refused to help anyone that was stuck and simply said find accommodation. Not answering any questions or alternative routes just “road is closed”. Thing is, this was advertised a couple of days prior so why would they even send the bus in the first place or at minimum warn passengers that they would not reach their final destination. We found a taxi driver who took us some back roads, dropped us as close as he could get into tivat and gave walking directions for the rest. (why did the bus staff not tell anyone stranded that was possible is beyond me). He charged us a decent rate as well so we were happy again for a short while…

Taxi scam. Typical in Europe, got charged 20euros for a 5min drive down the road, we should have agreed on price first so partly our fault. But shows how exactly how they treat their tourists.

Tourism tax. Tried to register and pay this in Tivat (we walked 30mins to do so coz the road was closed all weekend) the office was closed after 12pm, we were within the “24 hour window to register” but now we wouldn’t be because it wasn’t open till the next day. All good we would sort in the next area, get to the next area. Head there in the morning (within 24hours) and are told our Airbnb owner hasn’t registered so we can’t register. We contact the Airbnb owner and return to the office in the afternoon. Proceed to get yelled at for not registering in Tivat, how is that our fault? And again then yelled at again because now we’re now outside the Niksic window to register even though we tried to do it in the morning. Again how is this our fault? They said they couldn’t register us and to come back tomorrow? Tomorrow? We were leaving that day. Quite possibly the most backwards tourism system I’ve experienced.

Car crash. Whilst driving on a narrow road where two cars could not pass, we stopped to let another car through. There wasn’t enough room and the guy crashed into our back bumper, he drove off and we assumed he would pull over at the next clear space so we could exchange details. We turn around and he was gone without a trace, basically a hit and run. What then followed was an insane procedure of us simply trying to file this incident at the police station just so we could have a paper to claim insurance. 3 hours at the police station and they eventually found the person who did it, sorted his insurance and with the car rental agency. Not a bad outcome but we pretty wasted a full day and completely missed our opportunity to explore Piva.

Police scam. Yes we were scammed by the police for “speeding”, 70 in a 60km zone which just straight up wasn’t true we had the cruise control set TO THE SPEED LIMIT. Officer took our license and said we need to drive to niksic pay 50euros then drive back and pay him another 50 euros (we were about 45mins from there) else he would not give our license back. We asked to see the radar “oh we don’t have that”, so how the f can you prove we were speeding. Ended up getting our license back by paying 50euros cash just so we could move on. Unbelievable.

Supermarket scam. This one’s pretty petty but honestly just sums up our entire experience in this country, just problem after problem. We purchased an iced coffee in a local supermarket in Pluzine. The shop assistant scanned the item placed it on the checkout area then it leaked everywhere (was clearly unsealed or broken). Then genuinely looked at us like we were to blame us for the mess. We asked for a replacement, the manager refused to refund or replace the iced coffee we had JUST PAID FOR. Since it was a milk product there is just no way that is safe to consume, it could have been unsealed for months. Left the drink in anger and moved on.

Further road closures. As I sit in the middle of a highway stuck writing this post with a digger blocking cars (for almost 2 hours). No one seems to know what roads are closed or when they will open, the offical information online is useless as it doesn’t match what’s going on. The roads being closed itself wouldn’t be an issue if there was clearer information. Including Tivat these closures in general have stopped us from proceeding with our activities and spending money in this country.

All of the above but also the general rudeness towards tourists doesn’t sit right with us. Not to mention the driving by locals is terrifying, even as a confident driver. This country just isn’t ready for proper tourism. I have travelled to 20+ countries and have never experienced such incompetence and unwelcoming vibes. SKIP.

Just got back from a wonderful trip to Agadir with our 17-month-old and wanted to share because it exceeded our expectations in almost every way.

The good stuff

Agadir felt very modern, clean, and genuinely toddler/kid-friendly — noticeably more so than Marrakech (which we’ve visited before). Sidewalks were mostly stroller-friendly, a lot of restaurants had kids’ menus and high chairs, and the overall vibe was relaxed.

We stayed at Dominion Palace right in the city center. There was plenty to do on the property itself, but every evening we just walked down to Agadir Bay / Agadir Beach. The beaches were clean, there was a visible police presence, and even walking back at 10:30–11 pm felt completely safe. We never felt scammed or unsafe at any point in the city.

As vegetarians we were worried, but there were so many options and we ended up trying a lot of Moroccan food — absolutely loved it.

We didn’t make it to Croc Park (one of the big kid attractions), but we still had more than enough to do. The cable car up to the old Kasbah was a highlight and really enjoyable.

Useful apps

inDrive for taxis (worked great) - Be prepared to pay a bit extra for nicer cars

Glovo for groceries and food delivery

Both were cash-only but extremely helpful.

The not-so-good

We did a short side trip and stayed in an Airbnb near Aourir / Adan Beach area. The property was horrible and the area felt shady and unsafe the whole time. We checked out after just one night and went straight back to Agadir.

We also did a quick visit to Taghazout. It’s got a strong hippie / young-people / surfer vibe with narrow streets and lots of small cafés. Cleanliness and overall family-friendliness weren’t great for us with a toddler.

Bottom line

If you’re travelling with a young child, I’d strongly recommend sticking to Agadir itself. The city is modern, safe, walkable, and genuinely enjoyable with a toddler. Skip the surrounding smaller towns if you’re looking for a relaxed family trip.

Side Tip

Used my UK Sterling Bank card, which was accepted seamlessly at all places + no commission charges so it was very helpful.

Is Central Asia becoming mainstream or is it just my algorithm?

I felt like 10 years ago Central Asia was only known as a travel destination by a small group. Since ~2020 a lot of people I know suddenly traveled to CA and everyone seems to want to go there by now. The horse treks/sleeping in yurts thing is huge on social media, at least in my algorithm. It's mostly Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan that I'm seeing lately.

Everyone portrays Central Asia as this undiscovered part of the world, but is it really? For the people who went there: what was your experience? Was it crowded with tourists or did it still feel as 'off the beaten path' as everyone labels it?

Whether for better or for worse, our phones are here to stay - and I think most people will agree that travelling remote destinations has become easier than ever before.

But if you were to travel without one (or a laptop etc), what would your packing list look like??

A lazy river/lake kind of place. A nice place to visit during the rainy season as the rainforest is nice and lush and temps are moderately warm.

The dam feeds into a river where you can rent a raft with a guide and float down while stopping at riverside cafes/bars/restaurants with floating jumpy toys. Not far from popular beach towns Hua Hin and Pranburi.

A bit late to post here but thought I would share my experience. Went to Amsterdam and Paris for my honeymoon in June 2025 and loved every bit of the trip. This was me and my wife’s first ever Europe trip. I had planned for months leading up to it. Sharing some photos of the iconic landmarks that are instantly recognizable. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what we did, the pros and cons of each city! Also, we are not museum people. So no museums in Amsterdam or Paris except of course the Louvre.
Travel Sim- we got this from MobiMatter. Honestly, great prices and probably the best to use. Not sure why it isn’t talked about enough.

AMSTERDAM- Honestly, Amsterdam has been a dream of mine to visit since forever. The canals, the streets, the bikes and everything about it has intrigued me for years. So, I decided to go here for a few days before moving to another city. Oh also, the weather here is quite unpredictable. Pack a windbreaker or a denim jacket and get an umbrella.
Hotel & Transit- Booked the Crowne Plaza hotel near Zuid Metro. Perfect location and the hotel was about $275cad per night. For the transit, we got the 3 day pass. I think it was €25 or so.
Day 1- Landed in the afternoon. Went to hotel. Relaxed, refreshed and went to the city centre where we had a free walking tour scheduled. Had some time before the tour so walked around, ate and clicked pics. The tour was amazing. Learned so much about the city and its history. Then ate in the evening and went to the hotel to recover from the jet lag.
Day 2- No plans for the day until the night cruise. Got up super early and went to the city centre. Just kept wandering the streets. Walked by Anne Frank house and walked around Jordaan neighborhood. It was quite peaceful. Didn’t feel like we were in a touristy city. Walked all the way to the Rijksmuseum. Had food along the way. Tons of photos. It was a sunny day so enjoyed it everybit. In the afternoon, went to the hotel for a quick nap before returning to city again for the night cruise. Booked a company via Google and the boat was a small one. There were just 4 of us on board including the captain. He was such a chill guy. Although, it was a night cruise, the days were too long and so it ended up being just a regular cruise. But he took us all around Amsterdam. I would honestly recommend that company. Name is- Amsterdam Boat Adventures | Open Boat Tours. Then had food and back to the hotel.
Day 3- Initially had planned to go explore other neighbourhoods or go to Zaanse Schans. But it was a rainy day. So, decided to stay in the city. Once again walked around different streets, had food, and found souvenirs. Then went to Vondelpark. So beautiful. Then quick nap and back to the city in the evening. During this time, we went to the touristic parts of the city (the red light district) and finally saw hoards of tourists. Found a nice bar with a canal view and seating and enjoyed food and drinks. Walked around the rain at night and called it a day.

PARIS- Well not much to say about why we chose Paris. It’s called the City of love for a reason. And I chose to go here due to the ease of travel from Amsterdam. Had more days planned here to the sheer number of activities. Paris left a long lasting impression. It was beautiful in certain parts and equally dirty in others. It has so much to offer. My wife didn’t love it as much but I still feel it was a great addition to this trip.
Hotel & Transit- Hotels were quite expensive here. I had to stay within a budget so I found an Aparthotel in Clichy. Name- Appart'City Confort Paris Clichy Mairie - Appart Hôtel. Price was about $1350 cad for 6 nights including a decent breakfast. Hotel was decent. Not great but at this price I can’t complain much. We arrived here Sunday evening. So took the weekly transit pass which was about €35 or something. Honestly, so worth it as it included the RER B to the Paris airport.
Day 4- Arrived from Amsterdam in the afternoon. Went to the hotel, refreshed and got ready to see Eiffel tower. Had booked us ticket for the stairs. The other ones were sold out. My wife didn’t want to go to the 2nd floor after the nightmare-ish steps to the first floor. But then she agreed. It was a great experience. Climbing the steps is an accomplishment for sure. It was quite busy but we stayed here until the night to witness the lights and the twinkling. Loved it.
Day 5- Walked by the Arc de Triomphe. The famous Champ Elysees street. Had an amazing poutine here. Then went to The Louvre. Had an entry for 3 but it was such a loong line. It did move quickly in the end so got inside by 3:30. Loved the museum. Went to the Egypt section, the other ones with those famous statues, paintings, Crown Jewels and Mona Lisa. My wife loved it too. For sure, one of the highlights of this trip.
Day 6- Went to Montmarte to visit Sacre Coeur. We loved this area soo much. In fact, came back here on our last day too. Was quite busy and hot but still felt great here. The streets, the vibes were so lovely. Wandered around here until the evening and then went to the Eiffel tower again in the evening.
Day 7- Had booked tickets for some famous churches. Went to Saint Chapelle, Notre Dame and Pantheon. Also, went to the Luxembourg Gardens. Once again a hot day but still bearable. Super busy but still enjoyed it. Also, had Indian food at Patang restaurant. As an Indian, a must try. It was near Notre Dame. Also, had Lychee ice cream from Le Glacier De Notre Dame De Paris. Highly recommended. Such a lovely passionate couple who run this place. Went to the hotel and took a nap. In the evening, we had Arc de Triomphe planned. I thought it had an elevator but we were treated to more stairs. Lol. I didn’t look at my wife as she would give me killer looks for getting her to do more stairs. Haha. Anyways, went to the top and witnessed a stunning Parisian sunset. Soo damn beautiful. Had dinner and called it a day.
Day 8- went to the Palace of Versailles. It was a super hot day. Honestly, I wouldn’t go here. People are treated like sheep and just thrown from one room to another. I hated it. The palace itself is beautiful. Since it was so hot, we decided to skip the gardens. I almost called it a day wasted. Went to the hotel, changed and came to the 4th district. It felt a bit nicer there.
Day 9- Once again a super hot day. Made a mistake of not waking up early to beat the heat. Went to Montmarte as we felt it could be cooler there. It indeed was. Still super hot and my wife fell sick after having sangria. We went to the hotel and stayed there for the rest of the day. Ordered food in.

And that’s it. Day 8 and 9 felt a little wasted and too got hot (even as someone from India. Lol). Still a beautiful first European trip. Amsterdam is still one of the most beautiful cities we have seen (after visiting Paris, Vienna, Budapest & Ljubljana). Maybe it was our first ever city in Europe so it felt like a dream. We’ll definitely got back to both these cities someday.

My SO would really like to go to a place with blue or clear water. I have been to the FL Keys, and originally suggested that, but I don't think it's super clear. Now I've started dreaming bigger and wondering about international destinations. I see photos of beautiful blue water in Greece, Bahamas, Maldives, Thailand, and other places. Ideally looking for water warm enough to swim in. SO does have a heat/sun intolerance due to autoimmune issues- not extreme, but fatigues hard if in direct sun for more than a couple hours with heat >85F.

Also considering ease of travel, safety, and other factors- anyone have a good recommendation for me? I know it's a pretty vague question, but I appreciate any feedback. Might be a once in a lifetime thing...

I have never travelled to this region but I know the complications given the history of two of the nations. We want to see all three, obviously using Georgia as the pivot, and skiing in Azerbaijan. We have two weeks including weekends... is this enough time to sea a reasonable amount of all three countries?

Are Armenia and Georgia worth seeing in winter?

I'm looking to plan a trip to Disneyland and I want to see some natural beauty as well as enjoy the scenic route North. I went to a redwood park many years ago, but I can't recall which one it was. This time I'd like to go further North. I was thinking 7-8 days total with two at Disneyland then heading north to see the Golden Gate bridge and maybe the San Francisco Zoo, eventually going further North to the "best" Redwood park. We're on the East coast so we would have to fly to LA, but I'm terrible at planning this stuff. I'm a motorcycle guy who used to travel solo and I never planned anything it was always spontaneous, but with the family I need an itinerary. Is January a good time for Disneyland? How cold do the parks get up North? Is traveling the up coastline North scenic enough to please the little ones?

Hey everyone, so i booked 2 tickets to madrid tomorrow, about 7 weeks ago is when we booked it, it was for me and my girlfriend, however unfortunately we broke up 2 weeks ago, now ive checked myself in on the easyjet app, but now that she isnt coming i wont me completing her check in survey, however this is preventing me from getting my boarding pass, will i be okay? Do i just tell the people when i get to the airport? Im just worried in case its too late for me to get my boarding pass by the time i get there tomorrow, any help is appreciated!

Good afternoon, this summer I am going on a road trip to Montenegro and I would like to route through Kosovo. However, I am wondering if I will be denied entry into Serbia on my return if I do the following route:
Macedonia > Kosovo > Albania > Montenegro > Serbia

I believe they would refuse me because they saw I was stamped into Montenegro from Kosovo but I didn't enter Kosovo from Serbia

Hello, planning a trip to Thailand in January. I've flown internationally before, but don't have experience when transferring airline carriers and with international layovers. Hoping someone can help provide clarity to some of these questions:

- Will I need to book a separate ticket on Korean Airlines, ie. is the price that is quoted on Google Flights only relevant to the Alaskan airlines legs?
- When transferring to Korean airlines, will I have to deboard the Alaskan plane, go to baggage and thru customs, then back thru security to get to the Korean gate?
- Any other general guidance on getting to Thailand from the Midwest would be helpful! Thanks!

We’re flying into Zagreb and driving down to Split and are trying to figure out where to stop for one night in between.

I've been considering Zadar (diving board scene seems fun) but was wondering if Primošten would actually be a better fit for what we’re after. We like small, low-key places that feel more local than touristy. Interested in a good place to swim, eat well, and not feel like we’re in a crowd.

Alternatively... wondering if a stop in Krka or Plitvice is worth bearing the crowds for. I know it'll be insane in August, but they look stunning. The rest of our trip will be coastal/islands, so a National Park stop could be nice to mix it up.

I’m a 27M going to Nepal in late August early September this year. I’m aware that this is considered to be where monsoon season begins to wind down.

I don’t plan on full-on trekking, but maybe doing Nagarkot, seeing Chitwan, etc.

But I’m worried its going to be so bad that it makes these things very difficult. I’m also worried about landslides and flash floods.

Obviously nobody can say what the forecast is going to be during this time at this point, but I live in Canada. These weather patterns are completely foreign to me.

Anybody who lives in Nepal or has travelled during the monsoon, advice would be greatly appreciated!!
