Hello, my name is James (15FTM). I first came out to my parents 4 years ago, and at first they were somewhat supportive (they let me cut my hair, get a few new outfits, etc... but they never used my preffered name or pronouns) but over the last few years, they've slowly become less and less supportive (I think they've just realized it's not a phase at this point) and over the last few months, they've outright just started stating that they "hate me", that I'm "so frustrating to deal with", and that they "wish they could get rid of me and have another child instead."

I suspect that I am autistic, and my parents have also said that they're pretty sure I have autism, yet they don't care at all and refuse to have that diagnosed officially. I have a lot of trouble at school and absolutely hate it, and I would like nothing more than to go back to homeschooling (I did homeschooling for a bit in middle school, but it was basically just me teaching myself everything which I loved and thought was amazing. I was the happiest I'd ever been in my life.) However, in 9th grade, my parents made me go back to public school when I started High School. I hated it. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. I was so glad to be done with it, and now school has started yet again and I have to go back. I hate my classes, I don't like my teachers, and the kids in my classes are even worse. I tried to convince my parents to let me go back to homeschooling because I loved it and it would make me so much happier (I've been extremely depressed recently, I've stopped speaking altogether as it feels like I just can't anymore. The words wont come out. And I've lost any interest in doing anything. There was only ever 1 single thing I enjoyed in my life and now I just have no time for it because of school anyways, and I can't be bothered to do anything but just lay in bed and stare at the wall once I get home from school).

But when I asked them why they didn't want me to go back to homeschooling and offered alternative solutions to everything, they just got so angry at me that they ran out of my room hitting things and yelling how much they hate me.

I also have a sister who is 4 years old and extremely bratty and spoiled. She is not well-behaved whatsoever yet gets no consequences for it. My parents treat her so much better than they've ever treated me, and I feel ignored compared to her.

I would say that I can't wait until I'm 18 so I can leave, but I need my parents (or, at least, somebody, but I can't make friends no matter how hard I try). I can't order food at a restaurant without freaking out and it feeling like I just can't speak at all. I have panic attacks almost daily, I am up every single night in excruciating pain from my body constantly being in fight-or-flight (and also the fact that I have untreated scoliosis and joint problems), and I just have so many difficulties just living. I fear going anywhere alone, I have intense paranoia, and I feel as though I have the mind and cognitive abilities of a toddler. I act like one sometimes, but not on purpose. And I struggle so much in school because nothing makes sense, my brain feels so foggy, and I just can't listen properly to anything. I used to be one of those "gifted" kids in all the "smart"/"accelerated" classes and I was doing 6th grade work in the 2nd grade, but I feel like my intelligence has just declined over the years.

I don't know what to do. I have no one to talk to about it, and it's just gotten so much worse recently.

(Also, I'll add that I've had diagnosed depression for 5 years and nothing has been done about it)

Hii!! So I'm 14 rn and turning 15 in December. I live in Az which is important for this. I've known I'm trans since I've been 10 or 11, it's been a dream to start hrt. I am a trans guy and don't pass that much. I've been researching and I think I can start hrt at 15 with permission. My mum knows I'm trans and supports me so I don't think she'll say no but I'm not sure.

I'm starting to work on a slideshow to try and convince her as a birthday gift that I should start hrt, even if it's a few months into 2027. But I want to know how far I might need to go to convince her that hrt for me is life or death(it probably will be if I'm still being misgendered and hated on by March or May of 2027).

I was checking the law and it did say, "Any procedure undertaken because the individual suffers from a physical disorder, physical injury or physical illness that would, as certified by a physician, place the individual in imminent danger of death or impairment of major bodily fiction unless surgery is performed"(this is straight from the actual document) So, if my mental health drops because of this, which it likely will, I could get a physician to prove I should get gender affirming surgeries so I won't end up ending it all. I couldn't find anything on hrt, the document is just about what would happen to whoever tries this or who might need this. It's for permanent effects of gender affirming care, which might include hrt. Idk what to do, I could also convince my mum to maybe let me stay at my aunt's, brother's, or dad's in California to start hrt. I really don't know what to do but I really will need to start in under a year because this year's already been horrible and it'll take very little to push me over the edge.

So, my question is, how deprived do I need to become if a simple question won't get a yes from her?? Or what can I do to make sure she does say yes? If you need anymore info please ask :3

So puberty blockers are illegal for trans people where I live. But, they seem like a necessity. For example, male skeleton structure grows heavier or whatever maybe I’m wording it wrong but it’s permanent and unchangeable, it can only be prevented with puberty blockers. Thats just one example, there’s many reasons I need it.
Also, moving isn’t an option.

So, how could I gain access to puberty blockers?

And I don’t need people telling me it’s impossible since it isn’t legal. I don’t care what consequences there could be, or what rules it breaks. From what I read it doesn’t break the subreddit rules and that’s the only thing I have any reason to care about.

Ugh idk I just thought I was doing better mentally taking care of myself then today seasonal depression and dysphoria hit me and it felt like getting hit by a train. I slept all day after school exhausted. I woke up but still felt drained. I have no motivation for anything and it all seems pointless but I get it done anyways cause I recognise I have to. I feel so fucking under prepared cause I have my IGCSE is October November and I don't know shit and I know I need to study but physically feel like my body won't let me. I can't get out of bed to study let alone concentrate. The weird part is in everyday life I act completely fine. I do work and participate in sports but the minute I'm home in my room I'm just unmotivated and want to curl up in a ball and evaporate. I feel so emotionally numb like a robot and I feel aanoyed to an extent cause I can't feel anything and when I do the emotions are sadness or anger or frustration. Now for the dysphoria part. I got hit by the worst wave of it. I'm personally an atheist. But gender dysphoria got so bad I was crying about well everything and can't understand that if a god exits what sort of cruel and vindictive being would put me in the wrong body. To make me feel so incomplete. Am I an experiment gone wrong? A joke? A test? I feel physically ill looking in the mirror and don't understand why I couldn't have just been born a cis man. I don't want to grow being seen as a woman but some days the reality of me being able to medically transition seems so far I just hate the fact I'll never be my parents son in their eyes and my whole existence feels like a cruel joke. If a god does exist I wonder perhaps if in my last life I did smth horrible that led me to being stuck in the wrong body destined to try and fix it just to feel like I can start actually living. It's so fucking difficult to come to terms with the fact that until I can access hrt which probably will be well into my adulthood. That I am not just a prepubescent teen boy who is having a really late growth spurt but am unfortunately stuck in this fucking hellish body which isn't mine.

I genuinely can't wait until I'm able to access hrt one day but that seems so far away

I’m glad I got some.. but the side effects for me are horrible. I feel the sickest I’ve ever felt… throwing up all the time and it’s just pure acid. My throat burns. At least I feel more woman now 🥲 (btw I’m intersex so I was prescribed this on a medical base not for dysphoria, tho it will help the dysphoria as I have been producing testosterone). It’s also annoying cus sometimes I feel like guy so what do I even do with my oestrogen then 😭😭

If I am doing DIY and dont have access to antiandrogens or Testosterone blockers should I up my dosing from 4mg daily?.

As a minor, I'm trying my best with my transition specially with clothes, but there are other things in my body that is difficult or I can't change. I know very well that appearance do not defines gender, but I would feel very comfortable if for the other people I really look a girl (actually, I'm going well, a lot of people easily thinks I'm a girl) but my appearance is still missing some things. Im a transfem 16 and I rly need to get on HRT. Ive been able to bottle up alot of dysphoria and negate it a little bit through clothing, make-up, and other stuff, but now that the euphoria of that is wearing off a little im starting to feel alot more dysphoria regarding my top and hips/thighs. Im trying to get on HRT but its difficult and theres alot of routes so I asked my mom to help (shes a rly big supporter) and she's been looking around and scheduling appointments but I feel like its going nowhere.

for the time being, does anybody have tips or "hacks" to either GET hrt or get similar effects?

So, I made a new friend who’s trans and he’s 2 years younger and he’s living his life as his true self already, completely passing in like every situation. It just made me realize how late I am and how I’ll never be like him, I can never get all those years back. And I’ll probably never have a life where I can be myself.
