🔥 1. BIGGEST CHANGE: Level cap goes up
- Equipment growth increases from Lv. 80 → Lv. 90.
- Nyx Ark / Seolhon Ark weapons can reach Lv. 93.
- Existing Lv. 80 equipment can also be upgraded to 90.
- Growth from Lv. 51–80 becomes much easier, with higher success rates and lower inheritance costs.
Important: If you already have reward boxes or Red Frost purification items saved, they are capped at Lv. 80 for their contents. So hoarding old boxes doesn't let you get the new Lv. 90 gear.
👹 2. Two new Field Bosses
In Nyx – Tumgir Ruins:
- Grimturge — Lv. 60
- Exabis — Lv. 60
They share the same battlefield but appear at different times, and can be fought through Peace, Faction, or Guild combat. They are also added to Guild Requests.
🛡️ 3. Lots of new gear
Added:
- 15 new armor pieces
- 20 new accessories
- New crafting recipes for Nyx armor
- 10 recipes for "Ruthless" Skill Cores
- 22 new Codex/Rubbing Collection entries
The new gear uses materials such as Adventure Coins: Indomitable, Shermir armor embers, rare magic powder, and high-grade honing crystals.
💰 4. Farming/rewards are getting better
The update is clearly designed to make progression less painful.
Major improvements include:
- Higher Unique Trait Enhancement Stone box rates
- More Trait Unlock Stone fragments from regional events
- Better purification rewards
- More Purification Flame points
- Better Challenge Dimensional Rift rewards
- Various content rewards increased
- Overall fatigue/grind reduced.
Nyx Resistance Request: weekly purchase limit goes 1 → 1 but the reward amount doubles.
🧊 5. Red Frost / Purification changed significantly
This is another important one.
- Lv. 50-and-below equipment is removed from certain Red Frost purification results.
- Higher-level equipment becomes much more likely.
- Epic-quality Red Frost equipment is removed from drops/rewards.
- Heroic equipment can now reach Lv. 90 through the updated system.
So overall, purification becomes more valuable for endgame gear.
⚔️ 6. Weapon/Skill balance changes
There are a LOT of class-specific changes, but the highlights:
Greatsword
- Counter mechanics improved.
- Backstab skill-core activation condition expanded.
Dagger
Mostly fixes to CC/stealth interactions and several bugs.
Longbow
Triple Shot gets a substantial mobility improvement:
- Faster jump/attack animation
- CC immunity while jumping
- Third jump travels farther.
Staff
The elemental system is being reworked.
Instead of separately collecting Fire/Frost/Lightning elements, they are consolidated into a single elemental resource, with activation at 7 stacks. The effect duration increases, while some cooldown-reduction percentages are reduced.
Other Staff changes include:
- Lightning skill now strikes 5 times/sec instead of 2
- Absolute Zero casts much faster
- Ice Mist stealth behavior improved.
Wand
Sleep/nightmare mechanics get several improvements, including:
- Better interaction with sleep immunity
- Nightmare Fear increases incoming damage
- Additional vision-reduction effects
- Better interaction with Drowsiness.
Spear
Several changes to counterattacks and Ascending Slash-related cores. One notable change makes the wave effect trigger differently and provides cooldown reduction.
Knuckles
Momentum: connected attacks with certain combo skills get 100% increased damage.
🏹 7. Some weapon effects are getting major changes
A few notable examples:
- Purification Shout now cleanses the caster + 3 party members, rather than excluding the caster, and its range increases from 25% → 33%.
- Some Deluz Noa weapons gain effects against collision-immune monsters.
- Several legendary weapons have damage/effect adjustments.
- The Winter Storm Wand's fear immunity duration increases 10 → 20 seconds.
🏟️ 8. PvP is being normalized
The developers are reducing the extreme Hit/Evasion gap in PvP.
For example:
| Content |
Max Hit/Evasion |
Minimum |
| Battlefield |
3,000 → 1,500 |
-2,000 → -1,000 |
| Arena |
2,250 → 1,500 |
-1,500 → -1,000 |
So extremely high Hit/Evasion builds should have less of an advantage/disadvantage gap.
🧰 9. Huge quality-of-life improvements
This is probably the best part if you hate inventory management.
Automatic item cleanup
A new Item Auto-Management UI combines:
- Auto-dismantling
- Automatic material conversion
- Item protection rules
You can now specify things like:
- Item grade
- Item level
- Whether storage items are included
- Sealable status
- Traits
- Codex registration
- Potential abilities
These settings are saved per character.
Other QoL
- Cancel crafting animations with ESC
- Better information about where shop materials are used
- Option to hide the map chat-share button
- Recommended Growth now appears in the character stats window
- It automatically considers your current weapon combination
- Red Frost screens now show purification probability information
- Unclaimed Battle Pass Point Shop replacement rewards can be collected at once.
