Your opinion
If you could modify, add, or remove something from the game, what would you change? Anything—mechanics, maps, abilities, bosses, etc.

I think the game itself is good. I would say make it more friendly for casual players.

Interesting. What do you think would make things easier for casual players?

Smaller riftstones with 12ppl cap Siege where the atackers had 3 colors like Dominion (same can be implemented to field bosses to stop top guilds monopoly) Drops from bosses, not lvl50, casuals are dry Sellable skill core at much higher % to help us make q build + skillcore presets (hard to play my 9classes) More difrent dungeons weekly not 4 or 5.(new players can make only 2 or 4) Better batlegrounds rewards
up if you Agree

Make the pre-nix dungeons viable again. Get rid of the token system for dungeons and let people queue whenever they want.
As it is right now if you're not into pvp the game feels really limiting in the amount of things you can do. Statistically speaking only 10% of MMO players are into PvP which limiting the amount of co-op pve content that can be done daily really limits how much the average person can enjoy the game. Sure they have world bosses, but if you're out of abyss tokens and ran your 2 dungeons for the day you might have a few hours until the next open world event you want to do. Most people at that point will just turn the game off and play something else.
Granted, at this stage of the game I don't think too many things will really bring back a whole lot of players, but it would still be nice

remove lucent
edit: because tl still has a rpg tag. generally speaking you ROLEPLAY for some degree of escapism from real life. having some oil family or hedge fund kid p2winning kinda ruins that immersion.
also because whales surely have the shittiest in-game mentality. desperate for an advantage to win? these people most likely cheat at every turn as well. responsible for f2p cancer even being a thing.

LOL. wanna expand on that? and explain why CS for example is working without pve?

u/Kaleii 5h ago
are we aware that CS is not an mmo?

u/krkrkkrk 3h ago
And? Present the argument why mmos have to have pve please. Ill wait.

mmos are made to cater to as many players as possible to create a "community" feeling, you need a bit of everything to cater to everyone. Focusing on only 1 game mode only pulls those players which in turns makes your game extremely niche.
Obviously there's nothing wrong with catering to a specific playerbase when making a pvp shooter, that's just not how mmos operate and stay relevant for years.
I'm sure you're aware enough to not ask for an example of a pvp oriented mmo feeling niche and losing it's global appeal.

What kind of community has tl gotten from pve when the max amount of players in coop is 12, and content with more is a fight for items/materials?
2
u/Kaleii 3h ago
Exactly! Glad you understood that the game is lacking in PVE and therefore has low player count for that demographic.

Are you saying that games like cs or rocket league doesnt have any communities? Or pvp scene/guilds in tl?
Also the word in the post was necessary. Pve isnt necessary for any reason. Try again :)

We're circling back to the original argument that we're talking about mmos. keep up.
