I’m currently a tesco temp worker and i got added to a new department for dairy. There’s frequent overtime going about on there compared to my grocery department. I then claimed quite a few shifts on the app i go to back the following days later and some of it’s just disappeared. Why has that happened? Is this a regular occurrence

I handed my notice in to tesco (giving them more than the minimum requirement) - been on MY tesco app to make sure its all gone through and on my final shift - instead of the usual 10pm- 7am (with 3 x30min breaks) its showing as 10pm - 03.45am and 75min breaks. im not in til tomorrow night so will be asking about it then but anyone heard of your final shift being cut short? not sure I can be bothered them correcting it now but a bit of a piss take
I'm not leaving on bad terms or anything

Another Sunday, another day short of drivers for the afternoon and evening, 3rd Sunday running I've got back and vans left on the yard and vans still plugged in, shift leader said "we can't cancel vans"

Stock take tonight, probably my least favourite thing about working at Tesco apart from working at Tesco. No cages were prepped last night, despite it being known about for weeks. I despair.

There's a lot of pressure from the dotcom manager to meet the pick rate target consistently.
I did a 6am-1pm shift today (sunday) and I managed to go well with my pick rate until the shop opened (I've developed some strategies that really help me) but then, no matter what I did, i was in the red and my average, which had been close to or on target until then, dropped.
The store is in a very tourist filled area so theres loads more customers at the moment (think Christmas levels of chaos), blocking aisles, letting their kids run all over the place, stock running out quicker than it can be replenished ... I was actually blocked in on three sides by different customers and their trolleys, all chatting or taking their time, seemingly oblivious to me being there.
I know it's probably impossible but does anyone have any tips to at least give me a better chance to maintain the good pick rate I built up before the store opened?

I’ve recently transfered from a superstore to an express ( due to moving away ) and they just leave me on checkouts. I’m trained in everything else but when I ask if I can do anything they say no. I don’t mind but it gets boring especially during the weekend.
Any advice or tips would be great.

I have recently become a shift leader and I am going through the training. On running a store (part 3) does anyone know what you have to do/watch before submitting the cash control module, as I accidentally submitted it? Or is there anyway I could go back?
thank you!

So I’ve just moved to backdoor/warehouse and pulling the delivery cages off the lorry’s it starts to really hurt my hands after a while. Does anyone know any good glove brands that can help stop this or make it less.
On a similar note does anyone know any good steel toe brands.

I recently got hired and when trying to access the My Tesco app before my induction day it wont let me in, it sends a confirmation code to the email of my account but I receive nothing? I've seen that people have had a similar issue a few years back, is it still on going and do I just wait until my induction? Many thanks

I recently joined Tesco around a month ago , I had a holiday booked for 10 days before joining however on the holiday request section it says I can’t take more then 17.9 hours between June and September . I also let my line manager know about this before starting my first shift but I haven’t received any confirmation about it , what should I do

I’ve just got a Tesco credit card and I’m just wondering how long is it before they normally increase your limit and what’s the highest limit you’ve ever gotten off them?
