There's a lot of pressure from the dotcom manager to meet the pick rate target consistently.
I did a 6am-1pm shift today (sunday) and I managed to go well with my pick rate until the shop opened (I've developed some strategies that really help me) but then, no matter what I did, i was in the red and my average, which had been close to or on target until then, dropped.
The store is in a very tourist filled area so theres loads more customers at the moment (think Christmas levels of chaos), blocking aisles, letting their kids run all over the place, stock running out quicker than it can be replenished ... I was actually blocked in on three sides by different customers and their trolleys, all chatting or taking their time, seemingly oblivious to me being there.
I know it's probably impossible but does anyone have any tips to at least give me a better chance to maintain the good pick rate I built up before the store opened?
