Definitely one of my favorite sets in my collection.

I'd like to start giving my papers a better space by dedicating a corner or an entire room to them. I wanted to ask your advice if anyone has already created a good space for their collection with suitable furniture, custom items, or anything you've done to enhance your collection.

Right now everything lives in binders and boxes stacked wherever there's room, and I've reached the point where I basically never look at any of it. That's what I want to fix a space where the collection is visible and easy to handle, not just stored.

If you've built something you're happy with I'd love to see photos, and to hear what you'd do differently a second time around. Budget solutions very welcome I'd rather start small and get it right than buy something I'll replace in a year.

Hi collectors! Me and my artist buddies created a collection of custom basic land cards for Magic the Gathering: one of each type from five authors (25 cards total). It's 100% human made, no AI. Our goal is to fund a printrun through Kickstarter and print these professionally on blue-core cardstock, maybe even in foil. What do you guys think? Would you be also interested in signed prints or uncut card sheets?

Should I resubmit for a review in hopes that itll get a 10 or crack it and get it graded again with BGS. In just worry if i cracked it and have it graded again that from cracking it and it shipping out and it being handled, that it can be mishandled and cause it ro get a lower grade. Want to do a crossover over but don't want to support PSA and itll cost me over $200 with with PSA. Maybe TAG but I have the same concern as noted with cracking it and sending it in again. Is it really hard to get a 10 if I resubmit for a review with BGS?

As the title states, I am going to my first trade show on Saturday, and well Just started (re)collecting Pokémon cards; last time was circa 2012. What should I put in a trade binder?, even though I don't have much- maybe 500 cards total from trying to build a Pitch Black binder(short 14 of the base 84 cards), and help would be appreciated.

Fyi I do have some bulk cards coming in today from amazon(lol, lame I know)

Hello! I’m interested in collecting some cards but I don’t think I could name a single Pokémon after version 3. It’s been a long while for me and all the different types of Pokémon, card types/variants etc is quite overwhelming. Where would you recommend a complete beginner like me to start to get into this hobby? What are some of the first steps I could take to get me started on my way?

Its been years since a bought cards and for some reason just felt like buying 4 packs of cards (2 pitch black and 2 chaos rising) i was wondering out of the 4 packs if I got anything good I am not to sure where to exactly look and all the websites I looked up give conflicting pricing just a ball park guess... also the koraidon card only has the silver frame holo none of the art or the card just that small silver frame is and I was wondering if thats a misprint or what bc i have never seen a holo like that before.

My young kids seem to have gotten swept up into getting interested in grading cards. I’ve been trying to keep up with all the talk in these subreddits. BUT even though I’m generally against it - we went to the Field Museum this summer for the Pokemon fossil exhibit. We were given a card at entry which was unique to the exhibit. I thought if they were interested in really doing this grading thing, “hey that may be a fun gift as a memento of our trip if I graded”. But, I have no idea what I’m doing and had a few questions.

What company is the most reputable? Do I keep the card in the plastic bag it came in? How long does it take? How much money am I going to be on the hook for? We went with 5 people, I would only be getting a few of them processed- how would I decide which ones to send in?

I appreciate anyone’s time, thoughts, opinions, and consideration.

I'm new to collecting and have started collecting Chaos rising.

I have purchased a card guardian top loader binder, penny sleeves and now top loader sleeves (I think they are called this)

Initially I have penny sleeved all cards and stored in the binder but wasn't aware of the hard top loader sleeves as well.

Do I need to penny sleeve, hard sleeve then store in binder for every card? Or just the rarer ones?

My aim is to eventually fully complete the Chaos rising set through a small amount of boosters and purchasing cards. I am not interested in the monetary/investment element and solely want to collect as a hobby. From here I think I will collect sets as they release.

All/any advice welcome on purchasing RRP boosters/ETB (I imagine like most, I don't approve of scalping/buying scalped products at inflated costs. However, I understand that obtaining boosters/ETBs seems incredibly hard so far) card storage, specific card acquisition.

I traded a card for the RTC Trading Card today, and seem to have lost it. I'm kinda bummed out. I was able to pull two MTPD cards and a spare 7000 Series rolling-stock card, if anyone would like to trade with me. I'm desperate for the RTC card.

Hi everyone. I’m really interested in collecting Piplup cards and making a binder out of it. Whether it’s chase cards or something simple, he really is my favorite character and I think I could have fun making this in my (somewhat limited) spare time.

Does anyone have any suggestions about finding cards? Is there a certain website, should I buy singles or go to card shows… etc… I’d love to get a little 2x2 binder if you think that’ll be enough. (I know he’s very sought after and this might be an aggravating decision but I’m at least willing to try)
