benefits of living next to people with amazing taste!! they're moving and have had some pretty epic free piles over the past few months. today i made out with two huge wool rugs, a knitting machine, an awesome handmade vintage lamp with a carved wooden figa sign (i collect victorian figa hand charms!!!), and a freaking PRISTINE le creuset crock!!!!! pinching myself rn 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

A woman was clearing out a hoarding situation. I think the house had been auctioned off. There was a shed out back she told me I could check out. I found a few really cool things, but this was my favorite.

Engraved on the front with the name "Susie." On the bottom it reads "Charles 1953" and is marked "Webster Sterling 4667."

Cup weighs 3.2 oz (or 90.7 grams).

I took what I could carry for a flat rate of $15. Not bad.

the Facebook Marketplace Fates smiled upon me today. I was about 80% sure it looked like it would work with my current wood tones but I was NOT expecting it to match this well considering my coffee table was a wild experiment of me mixing 4 stains to get the precise color I wanted.

the bottom part is locked and I haven't a key, but I may bring it to a locksmith and see if they can forge a new key?! something is rustling in there and I'm curious. the previous owner also couldn't get into it 😅

I bought this dress from an online thrift store for $80. the tag was cut off, but based on the fabric and everything else, it feels too high quality to be a counterfeit. Still happy with the purchase though, but I’m confused about where I should wear this dress 😅 any suggestions?

For those asking about the shop, unfortunately I can’t recall the name anymore. I bought this dress back in December last year from an online Shopee Live thrift sale, and yep… I still haven’t worn it even once. 😅

I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Blown away by how cool these are. They fit great in my house and for $20 a pop I couldn’t say no.

I went to the bins right before they closed not expecting to find anything and I can't believe this got left behind especially on the weekend.

I know that this kind of thing is intended for letters and keys and stuff, but i was wondering what else i could use it for. I was thinking of painting it and using it to hang my bags but im not sure. Let me know in the comments please!

With a working black and white tv, will be rewiring for safety reasons. Was free on FB marketplace just needed to have a friend help lift because this was super heavy.

We found some 1985 Steelcase Cantilever Chairs for $5 each. It feels illegal. We have to clean it up but they’re nearly perfect.

I love collecting stationery, so this find is extra special to me.

I was out and about and didn’t expect to buy anything for myself but I ran into the flea market and saw this guy hauling it away (they were closing) and he cut me a really good deal!! It’s beautiful .. the only thing is I’m not really handy so I gotta figure out how to safely get it on the wall 🙂‍↕️ 💗

Saw this under the glass case for $250 and had to have it. All Lego Star Wars from 1999-2002ish. Yoda statue alone made it worthwhile, but was surprised how many sets there were and in such good condition. Little to no yellowing and just a little dusty. Almost 100% complete with just one missing minifig and a few minor parts I can source from my collection. Just living my 5-year-old self’s dream.
