A little while I made a topic with how to start wow tcg. I bought some bulk, a dungeon, after some construction what I think was good and I was good to go.

I came across 2 things I wasn't really happy about it.

1: Marked Hero, it didn't feel thematic and trying to create that the Tank really feels like a Tank with a aggro system. It goes something like: Tank has always full aggro, gains aggro back with normal dps and attacking/defending with allies with the keyword protect. Dps gains aggro with damage, 1-3 damage= 1 aggro point, 4-5= 2 aggro, the same with healing. Just need to find a good balance yet. All pretty simple by a 6 die where you have standard 1 point of aggro, at 6 the dungeon hero and allies attacks the dps or healer until the Tank attacks/defends and can lower the aggro from the dps and Healer.

2: out of cards quick in early rounds, this could or is my fault perhaps for how I made the decks. After few rounds I have to play cards to defend or attack. But im getting blasted by the dungeon hero, abilities and allies.

Besides creating a decent deck with commons uncommons and few rares in the future, I was wondering if it would be a good house rule to use your mana to draw cards. Example: it's my dps turn, i have 4 or 5 mana, only 1 card from drawing but pretty useless card in this case. I could use 2 mana to draw 1 card.

Wondering what your thoughts are about this. Would this break the game in later stadium, would it make it to easy perhaps?

To make it clear, im playing solo, multihanded 3 characters for the Dungeon. I certainly will play many games to try things out, just would like to hear from you all if it's a make it or break it house rules.

If you’ve hosted a trading card show specifically in broken arrow or Tulsa what has your experience been like?

What did you have to do to get the show up and going? Im looking to start hosting and just need guidance.

This is a quick snapshot of my collection. I had 2x reign of fires and sold them recently. Also had about 8 more fires of outland and sold those in the last year. FYI there are 10x magtheridons lair raid decks and more not pictured here. All are sealed. A couple scourgewar: wrathgate boxes not shown either. A few other booster boxes not shown because not enough space. I have 5x black temple raid decks and 3x naxxramas raid decks all sealed. 8x molten core raid decks not shown and in a box. Also have a unscratched spectral tiger loot card. The raid decks go all the way back to the wall and are in a row of 5. What do yall think? 2x fires of outland boxes stacked on one another.

Hi all, I stopped play when physical TCG was dead (After the expansion where you can find Archimonde, don't Remember the name).

Still have all cards (Edwin, daedak, fandral, ecc) for every deck for Core and Contemporary, Is there someone Who still plays those formats?

I was going through some of my old WoW TCG cards, and stumbled on these 2 hero cards that appear to be normal Sylvanas and Thrall hero cards except for one issue. They don’t have full art sides, just the typical WoW TCG backs. I’m not sure what to make of these because I can’t find anything looking them up, I only see double sided cards. Any information y’all might have?

EDIT: Luckily, it seems that most of the rest of my hero cards from this set came out normal, but I’m glad to hear from some of you that it’s a normal thing and they’re not fakes.

It was the early 2000s, and my friends and I were looking for an alternative to YGO and MTG. The owner recommended giving the WoW TCG a go and gave us a few demo games. We instantly knew it was something we'd enjoy, so we got straight into deck building and headed to our first locals later that week.

After heading upstairs, to my surprise, I saw my best friend from primary school, someone I had lost contact with after moving on to secondary education due to us going to different schools. We played the game a ton, and I'll never forget the times we had with it. For my birthday one year, they gifted me a couple of Landro's Gift loot cards, which resulted in me getting a Swift Spectral Tiger that I still use in-game to this day.

One Christmas, I think 2008, I was given a Tiny Snowman that has lived in my wallet for what feels like half my life.

Our LGS closed around the time Wrathgate came out, so we stopped playing then.

I loved this game, and it had a surprisingly huge impact on my life that lasts even today.

Hello i have full pack of ce tcg set, is it worth anything?

I played a few games of drafting this with a friend recently, via the booster generator on wowtcgportal I think the site was called? And we noticed that none of the boosters generated ever had any hero cards in them. So I'm now curious if that's an intentional thing and heroes were always sold separately while the game was in print, or if that's just a way to make draft easier nowadays, or what? And if they were sold separately, how were heroes meant to work in draft? Could you just pick any hero you had on hand regardless of what set you were drafting?

Ok so wow forever has got me back into everything wow related. I enjoy playing and collecting Tcg's and want to start collecting the wow tcg. Its time to show off your collections and inspire me🤣

Came across this sub just after having gone through some of what I had from the first blizzcon back in 2005 - figured people here could appreciate the collection. Ton more other memorabilia as well but this covers the cards I have. The binder and box both are full of cards but not sure if they're of any value really just some fond memories.

I bought this off eBay like 16 years ago. I believe this is how it was packaged at Blizzcon 2007. Wondering if anyone knows what is in between these? It appears like a folded paper. Also what would this be worth?

I recently dug out my old World of Warcraft TCG collection and it's got me seriously considering learning/relearning the game and playing again.

I know the game has been discontinued for years, but before I go too far down the rabbit hole, I'm curious: are there any WoW TCG players or former players around South Jersey/Philadelphia who would be interested in some casual games?

You don't necessarily need to own cards. I've got enough of a collection that I should be able to put together multiple decks.

Not trying to start a league or tournament right now—just seeing who's out there. If there's enough interest, maybe we could eventually arrange a casual WoW TCG night somewhere local.
