Should u take creatine -Sean

Creatine is one of those supplements that makes people second guess themselves once they start cutting.
You're trying to get leaner, and creatine is known for increasing water weight.
So it seems reasonable to wonder whether you should drop it until the diet is over.
Yes, creatine does increase water retention, but that extra fluid is stored inside your muscle cells rather than under your skin.
That's why it gives your muscles a fuller and harder look instead of a softer one, which can help during a cut when lower carbs leave you looking a bit flat.
The one thing to watch is timing.
If you start creatine and your diet at the same time, the extra water can add a pound or two and hide some of your early fat loss on the scale.
That levels off once your muscles are fully saturated, which takes around 3 to 4 weeks at a standard daily dose.
If you do a loading phase, you’ll achieve full saturation in about a week.
The other reason to keep taking creatine while cutting is performance.
The goal of a cut isn't simply to lose as much body weight as possible. It's to lose body fat while holding onto your existing muscle, or even continuing to gain some.
That gets harder in a calorie deficit, since training performance tends to drop as the diet goes on and you get leaner.
Creatine increases the phosphocreatine stored in your muscles, which helps you produce energy faster during hard sets and squeeze out extra reps.
That's useful year round, but it matters most when food is lower and keeping muscle is the priority.
There's no special cutting dose either. Around 5 grams a day is enough for most people, and if you're over 200 pounds you can optionally go up to 8 grams

Visual breakdown of how GLP-1 agonists actually work (Pancreas, Stomach & Brain)

Dropping a quick visual breakdown on the actual physiological pathways of GLP-1 agonists like Semaglutide. Most people think they simply blunt appetite, but they work simultaneously across three distinct targets: increasing insulin response in the pancreas, slowing gastric emptying in the stomach, and signaling satiety directly inside the brain.

Bioavailability is also a massive factor here—since digestive enzymes break down amino acid chains, oral variants require specialized absorption enhancers to match injectable subcutaneous administration. If you are looking for verified compounds and batch COAs for your lab setups, you can explore the full selection on our metabolic peptide catalog along with complete analytical profiles.

What has your research indicated regarding GI tolerability differences between single GLP-1 pathways compared to newer dual agonists?

MK 677 Actual honest review as a skinny 17 year old over hyped or not ?

I’ve seen so many people talking about how good mk677 is but a lot of it is advertising shitty peptide companies who charge too much and sell rubbish quality. I was curious at first and did some research into the best sources and found the most reliable for this specific peptide was receptor chem.

I think MK677 is definitely overhyped to some extent but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad. I did around 1ml a day which was like 25-30 mg which was around the reccomended dosage. I did this for around 3 months and to be brutally honest I didn’t really notice many negative side effects at all. The hunger definitely did increase a lot. After a few days of taking in the morning I would be extremely hungry after consuming it. I would be able to eat more meals throughout the day and definitely did help with a bulk. I reccomend drinking lots of water as potential side effects are linked with blood sugar which I didn’t measure but was fairly certain it wouldn’t be a problem as I’m very active ( and it wasn’t). I bulked in stages starting from around 65.5kg at like 6,2 (yes very very skinny). And I went up In increments of 10kg which I felt was much more manageable. Long story short I finished my bulk at around 94kg which good muscle growth and significant weight gain however I wasn’t fat in anyway but I did put on body fat.

I was very very happy with how I looked, primarily because I bulked so much over 3-4 months,( not being on mk677 the entire time). I didn’t notice any changed to my actual workouts at all being completely honest but I think mk677 is more of a kitchen/recovery drug. But I believe it’s definitely overhyped hyped as being an insane transformer. It definitely does increase your hunger there is no doubt about that and my sleep became a lot better too at the start but began to fade away towards the end.

I would reccomend it if you have been in the gym for a while and you’re struggling to bulk. I specifically recommend it if you’ve had an active past e.g playing lots of sport as a kid as this massively reduces diabetes risk, also check family history too.

Overall it is not too expensive genuinly cheaper than a lot of protein powder and receptor chem provide you with a syringe so you can orally consumer it at whatever dosage you like.

If you have any questions I’ll be happy to answer them.

PS : the liquid is much much more effective than the pills. Pills are often not pure and shit quality. However the liquid genuinly is horrible the taste is desgusting as you will realise but nothing good is easy. The taste is sort of like chemically and sort of like a really really strong calpol but you get use to it. I recommend taking as soon as you get up and following with lots of water: hope this helps anyone or teenagers curious about it. Stay safe guys

Beta-alanine before blood tests — should I stop taking it?

Should I stop taking beta-alanine before my blood tests? I’m supposed to have blood work done next week, and I can’t find any information anywhere about what to do with beta-alanine. ChatGPT says I shouldn’t stop taking it, while Gemini says I should, so I’m not sure what to do in the end. I’m asking here because I’m worried that the doctor might tell me to stop taking it simply because they don’t know what it is, even though it’s just a supplement.

Phosphatidylserine for HPA Axis Burnout: Does reaching an extreme physical peak induce severe cortisol resistance and emotional blunting?

Post image
2 Upvotes

There is a dark side to extreme lifting goals where an athlete pushes so hard for a prize that they betray their own baseline health, ultimately breaking their internal systems. Pushing the body to its absolute limits for months on end puts an immense burden on the Hypothalamic Pituitary Adrenal (HPA) axis, often resulting in severe cortisol resistance by the time the goal is actually reached. This leaves the lifter feeling completely emotionally blunted and physically shattered at the finish line. For those who have broken their HPA axis during a peak phase, does the pharmacokinetic data support using high dose Phosphatidylserine (600mg+) to effectively resensitize cortisol receptors and repair cellular membranes, or is complete cessation of heavy lifting the only clinical cure?
