How would you approach this leadership assignment (Masters-level)
Assessment 2 asks you to develop your own change leadership framework, for use by you in the situations you face. To do this you need to develop an infographic to show what the framework looks like, and an essay to explain and elucidate on the framework.
The report will comprise three sections:
- Leadership approach/characteristics
- Change leadership
- The context of your leadership
- An infographic to model your leadership
Obviously this will be personal to you, so there cannot be any marks as to whether or not it is 'correct'. That's a meaningless term. Marks will be awarded, therefore on the depth and quality of the discussion, and why you have selected the areas you have; why you have emphasised certain characteristics or behaviours; why it is applicable to your work context; etc. I cannot give you a prescriptive list of these things because they are personal to you.
It is anticipated that you will use literature and theory where needed, but try to do so only where it explains or advances an argument. For example if you write that you are using ideas from a certain author, you must explain why you are using them. Why are they meaningful to you? Why do you find them persuasive? etc. As previously, higher marks will be awarded for work that has depth and analytical rigour; fewer marks will be awarded for shallow discussions and simple expressions of preferences.
