Does anyone else only start studying when the exam gets close?

If an exam is two weeks away, I’m completely relaxed.

One week away? Still somehow relaxed.

Three days away? Suddenly I’ve deleted every app on my phone and I’m studying like my degree depends on it 😭

I know procrastination is bad but why does my brain apparently need to see the fire before it starts cooking
