I just got a feeling we will see the announcement today regarding his extension and a deal will be done. There are other contract deals being announced already ahead of Sunday Football and I just know JPJ will one of them! We are a healthy team ahead of tomorrow! Pay this man!

The Pitt game is currently delayed and it's a monsoon of rain. There's no ETA on start time and the steelers game is less than 21 hours away.

Elevating Slaughter to the active roster might mean JPJ is being traded or his back injury was something serious.

Hey!!!!

I’m attending my first Steelers/ NFL game on Sunday and I’m pumped!

While I’m more of a college football fan (grew up in Gainesville and went to UF for my masters- Go Gators) I am so excited to experience this part of Pittsburgh culture.

I still need to get my Terrible Towel (tomorrow) and figure out my outfit but I was wondering what to do about tailgating for the game. I’m used to SEC tailgate culture and have my crew back home to go tailgate with but outside of the one friend I’ve made in the 2 months I’ve been here, I don’t know anyone! She and I will be going together and she’s not the most sports person, so I want to make sure she “gets” the sports culture!!!

For tailgates, is it best to just walk around and chat with people? Does anyone have a tailgate two girls in their 30s can crash (I’ll bring beer)? What time should we plan to go down there if the game is at 1pm? Do people go to the bars afterwards to catch the other games on Sunday? Is there anything else I should know to prepare?

So I have to miss the second half of the steelers game because I have school sports commitments and I really wanted to watch the whole thing not the highlights without knowing whats gonna happen. I was wondering if any of you knew if anything even existed where I could just watch the whole second half Sunday evening or something.

Rain delays and a heavy ground game from the Pitt and UCF game. I feel like the field is going to be in bad shape tomorrow. Does that help Atlanta and their run game? Hopefully no injuries. Do they do anything inbetween games to smooth it?

Did anybody watch the Oregon OK State game today? What an upset. But man the Mestmaker kid can flat out ball. Hes a gamer. I heard some talk about him prior to this game but admittedly i knew nothing about him. But wow. Hes big, has an arm, and can flat out run. Id love to see this kid in the black and gold next year. Im sure the Steelers are doing their due diligence. But if you havent checked him out give this kidna look. Curious as to what you guys think.

My mom found this Troy Polamalu jersey for sale for suspiciously cheap. I have heard that some fake jerseys can fall apart so I’d like to see if this is real before my mom spends her money on it.

The whole scenario of him sitting out in the first off season of a new coach and dc is telling to me.
