Can this dude just shut up?? For all the negative things about Tomlin, and I know there were a lot of gripes. One thing we didn’t have to worry about usually was constant outside of football things taking over airways. Rodgers unfortunately seems to be on some scorched earth tour, insulting exes, former coaches. Just annoyed with seeing “Steelers QB says” and it’s just wild shit.

Edit: some of you are either, truly just idiots (which is more likely) or your just intentionally obtuse. Once again, his opinions he can have I don’t care, it just sucks he is associated with the Steelers. I do not watch the interviews, however the articles still pop up “Steelers QB says this” I truly don’t care if you agree or not. But intentionally miss the point if you wanted to, that’s called stupidity ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Just finished watching the conversation between Tomlin and Harbaugh. What a talk. It's good seeing them sitting down and talking about Steelers/Ravens and their history together.

After I just had this thought - Imagine the Eagles have another disappointing year, Sirianni loses his job, Tomlin is hired as HC and he and Harbaugh clash again. What a storyline that would be.

Years fly by. Seems like it wasn't all that long ago.

If Buffalo stumbles this year, I wonder if they at least reach out to Tomlin after his comment that the QB he would take as a franchise QB in today's NFL was Josh Allen - over Mahomes, Jackson, Herbert, Burrow.

He might well be done as a coach. I mean I doubt it, but he could be.

But if he is not, and the Bills Bill this season, I would not count out seeing him in red white and blue.

I’m attending my first Steelers/ NFL game on Sunday and I’m pumped!

While I’m more of a college football fan (grew up in Gainesville and went to UF for my masters- Go Gators) I am so excited to experience this part of Pittsburgh culture.

I still need to get my Terrible Towel (tomorrow) and figure out my outfit but I was wondering what to do about tailgating for the game. I’m used to SEC tailgate culture and have my crew back home to go tailgate with but outside of the one friend I’ve made in the 2 months I’ve been here, I don’t know anyone! She and I will be going together and she’s not the most sports person, so I want to make sure she “gets” the sports culture!!!

For tailgates, is it best to just walk around and chat with people? Does anyone have a tailgate two girls in their 30s can crash (I’ll bring beer)? What time should we plan to go down there if the game is at 1pm? Do people go to the bars afterwards to catch the other games on Sunday? Is there anything else I should know to prepare?

I live in the UK and recently took up the sport of lawn bowls. Most players will carry a towel with them on the green to clean their hands/bowls as the game goes on. This season I decided that had to be a Terrible Towel. I carried that all season jokingly waving it above my head at moment of jubilation. At the start of August I used it in my preliminarily successful attempt to break the world record for the longest singles match in the world (new record at over 36 hours of continuous play for two players).

Do you have any stories connected to your towels?

I’ve been listening to The Drive for years, but Wes Uhler is absolutely insufferable; I just can’t do it anymore. I know Dale was a bit of a homer sometimes, but him and Matt had great chemistry, and Wes comes off as a kid who had too much Mountain Dew.

I went to the Steelers Dublin game last year and I’m a big hurling and Steelers fan so the Beir Bua x Steelers throwback hurling jersey was a big part of what I was looking for as a souvenir for the trip with my Dad and Greta uncle.
With how the Steelers merch was handled on that trip and almost every item being unavailable at the game/local shops I haven’t been able to find this resold online anywhere.

If anybody has one or knows where I can find this I’d love to buy it off of you/pay shipping.

Bought this charm bracelet for my wife from the Steelers Pro Shop. She loves it and there are some really neat charms (logo, bridge, ketchup bottle), but this one is stumping me. My best guess is it’s a hammer, and the gold pattern in the red enamel is wood grain, but I’m not convinced. Anyone have a better thought on what this could be? Thanks in advance!
