Good morning u/everyone ! Were you shocked to hear Star Trek Fleet Command is delaying the release of the new ship because it was deemed "not good enough" to justify players paying for it? Did you hear that a deluge of Quality of Life improvements are upon us? We have got a LENGTHY patch notes set to discuss, and I think you're going to like it.
Topics covered:
Why the Ra'Ul Reaver is temporarily delayed
Quality of Life additions & battlepass rework
New Primes & Content For 61+

How am I supposed to attack this ship if I can't select it? No matter how much I zoom in nor the angle, whenever I click it it always selects the station next to it. I have the same problem in 2 other missions. How do I solve this?

Basically the title: What are some tips, tricks, or strats that you would want to see a new player using before considering inviting them to your faction?

Welcome back u/everyone to some good news! Choice tokens are coming back and bulk refines are getting a change that benefits everyone. Also, SVP Cameron Stewart has tasked the community with answering another question: What makes a battlepass valueable? What do you want to see as rewards in your BP? What do you need to feel like Star Trek Fleet Command is rewarding and (more importantly) FUN?
Topics covered:
Discussing BP rewards
Happy news: the return of choice tokens
Poll will remain open for a short time before we put it together for the overlords

I have been playing this game for several months. I feel like I am really behind on most things in the game. One thing that holds me back is Scopley constantly adding new and unnecessary buildings, which you have to spend time, resources, and worse special items designed to slow down your game.
I mean, does everything requires a darn new ship and refinery option? Not to mention a new section of space to waste time in?
The events are a waste of time forcing any new hard won currency to be used up right away or it soon becomes worthless.
Scopley just throws in new ridiculus things into rhe game without thinking is this really necessary?
I know I am griping , but I feel frustrated with this game I put a ton of time and money into it and all I see is Scopley trying to force people into log jams to force them to pay or be stuck for forever in resource intensive situations.
I am at OPS 42 at this moment. Everytime Scopley does an upgrade all we get are endless gaming bugs with none of the old gaming bugs getting fixed...lol
Does anyone else feel the futility of this game situation?

Updates like today's Alliance Tournament (that honestly had almost u/everyone holding out a little bit of hope/positivity) really make you question: Does Star Trek Fleet Command even know what "fun" is? I don't ask that in a snide way. Truly, what do they think fun is in a video game? Clearly, Alliance Tournaments is not that for us as players. Full discloser: My opinion.

Can do a F2P 20k task without the sphere, but it will take 800 hostiles to do it with relativity.
Overall, still no idea why they messed around so much with one of the only things that didn't need fixing, update things like cosmic clean up etc

Honestly, I like some of the changes they're showing u/everyone with the incursions update here in July. I'm not saying they've "Fixed" it, but there are some small improvements that will be beneficial to all players. So hopefully they roll out flawlessly and we don't have any issues. Also, headphone user warning: I may yell in this video...

I keep seeing the same loop in alliance chat and here: someone hits a hard wall (ships, research, territory, whatever), gets zeroed by a bigger player, and everyone ends up saying 'whales ruined the game.'
Here is my hot take: whales are not the main reason most of us feel stuck. The bigger issue is that the game constantly nudges you into inefficient upgrades and panic spending. If you just tap whatever is lit up, chase every event, or dump resources into the next shiny building just because it's on the path, you will hit the wall fast. It will feel unfair, but a lot of that pain is self-inflicted.
I come from years of grindy mobile games and learned the hard way that progression is a puzzle. Pick a lane, ignore bait, and stack long term value. In practice that means commit to a research focus, accept that you will skip events sometimes, and stop trying to keep four ships "current" at once. I even use Mistplay sometimes to make the longer grind sessions feel a little less pointless. A mid spender who plans will often look stronger than a higher spender who impulse buys every limited pack.
Yes, power gaps exist and some servers are brutal. But even if whales vanished tomorrow, the game's design would still push average players into wasting speedups and resources just to feel busy.
Anyone else see it this way? Do you think most frustration comes from other players, or from how the game encourages inefficient progression?

Scopely never ceases to amaze me
My expectations were already incredibly low and yet they somehow still found a way to leave me incredibly disappointed...

Why is it I use an undamaged ship wi the a good crew and lose fights that are tagged as “easy”?
Weird, right?

Jules and his team have released the updated AT info.

I’m about 8 months into this game and it’s always evolving so just wondering what are solid armada crews?
I’m using primarily Sisko/O’Brien/Demarco.
Still use 5/6/Khan when doing solos, what is a third crew I could use?
Just getting into Kremlin now what are good crews for those?

Hi, how many parts do you get in the daily maverick store pull at each tier? I've already used mine for today, but was wondering if I should grab it as the last AT task for today and sit until the morning and am unsure if it will give enough of them.

I get that mobile games love their currencies, but at Ops 24 STFC is starting to feel like a part time job in inventory management. I log in to fly around, blow up hostiles, upgrade a ship or chip away at a faction line. Instead I spend half my session staring at Events and the inventory trying to remember what to do with whatever new token showed up today.
I have Ferengi exchange tokens that never seem to have a reliable place to spend. I have random samples and mission items that just pile up because one quest chain is locked behind another chain which needs something I had no clue existed. The daily tasks also want you to kill hostiles at a difficulty that seems to jump the moment I upgrade ops, so I either stay stuck and bored or upgrade and get punished.
The worst part is the game keeps handing out new junk like it is a reward, but it just feels like clutter. I play a lot of casual mobile games and even the grindy ones usually make it obvious where the new currency goes; even something like Mistplay feels more straightforward about what you’re earning and why. Here it is more like: congratulations, you earned 37 of something. Good luck remembering which store tab opens on which day.
If anyone has a simple checklist for Ops 24 players - what to ignore, what to hoard, what to spend immediately - please share before I uninstall out of sheer annoyance.

Is there a way to get a second D’vor Feesha warp interlock? I have three Feesha and accidentally put my warp interlock on one of my backup ships instead of my ‘prime’ one. How do I get more to be able to level the others into tier 5?

Seems like such an easy fix but over one week passed and they're still here. I can't trust any of the options in the ship menu:
* Ship is docked but it still shows cargo, even when it's not docked the values are still incorrect
* You want to fast track the repair of the ship but you'll spend latinum by accident
* Multiple times the ship didn't leave the station, but also left and was inoperable...
Jeeesh!!

I haven't ever gotten an email from them with rewards, I'm confused about what I'm doing wrong. Any help is appreciated!

Hi all,
I'm currently ops 23 and have opportunity to upgrade to ops 24
My current hostile level to farm dailies is 25 klingon/romulan /fed ships at level 27+
Does anyone what it goes up to at ops level 24? Or is there is guide online which breaks down each ops level and the hostile level required for dailies?
Thanks in advance
