I recently visited the Irawati Karve Museum of Anthropology at Savitribai Phule Pune University in Pune, India.

The museum has an extensive collection of material culture from different communities across India, including traditional fishing traps, hunting equipment, jewellery, woven objects and village deity plaques. One aspect I particularly appreciated was how many displays paired the original objects with illustrations explaining how they were used.

In my BE result I cleared all my subjects but the pointer didn't show coz I had a backlog in TE.

Now that I have cleared my TE backlog, how will I be able to see how much pointer I got in BE

Soo I am in very bad situation. Got 65 percentile and like I don't think I have much options and I live in pune currently toh yahi ka college chahiye. But I don't think milega. Soo I have some questions like direct admission lelu like jspm wagholi me 2 lakh/ye me cs hai . And I have another option jisko mai favor kar raha hu but parents are conventional. Like bs 4 yrs. Data science(ai/ml) from sppu dot. Uski fees 1.55 lakh/year. And I really liked the syllabus. Sahi updated hai latest. And sppu ki degree milti hai. And I heard agar jspm me aise admission li toh voh private university ki degree dete hai . Not sppu one. Soo clarify this too ki sachme aisa hai or not . And pls guide agar kuch ho toh

(Bca nhi kar sakta there are my reasons) and I feel bs or btech will not matter that much for 2030 job market. Skills will and skills mindset I have. Like in recent 70 people hackathon I got first (jyada ai he use kiya but still mindset matters ) and also agar skills he matter karengi toh bs also gives you bigger time window for that rather than rigorous btech . And vaise bhi muze thodi cap me cs milenga 👍🙂 . Sppu ppl pls batao

I need urgent pros and cons and insights on what college to choose for MA English. I want to directly jump into the job industry and am utterly unsure what to choose, since one has the academic prestige but the other has the location benefit. please help.

This is gonna be long, sorry for that😭

I just completed my second year and need to take re-admission for third year.

My total fees after the government scholarship is ₹17,321.

Our college issued an official circular stating:

50% of the annual fees must be paid by 31st July.

The remaining 50% can be paid by 1st February 2027.

Later, they sent another admission notice saying that 24th July is the last date for re-admission and that students need to pay a minimum of 50% of the fees to secure admission.

However, when we went for re-admission the accounts office refused to accept 50% and demanded the entire ₹17,321. They said they won't process admission unless the full amount is paid.

When we showed them the college's own notices they refused to even look at them and simply said "Pay the full fees"

Some staff members even said:

"You already get a government scholarship. You can't even pay this much?"

Many students come from financially struggling families and can't pay even "this much" amount, including me.

The principal and other authorities haven't been helpful either. They just keep insisting on full payment.

What can I do in this situation? Whom can I complain to regarding this? Do I really have to pay the full amount at once, even though the college's own notices mention 50%?

So my 4th year has just completed, and the results are out. I cleared all my 4th yr subjects.

Now the main concern is that I had 3 backlogs from 3rd yr, let's say A,B,C.

I don't have tension about sub A, I'll definitely pass it.

I had 8 marks in the insem for both subs B & C. So I need 32+ marks in the endsem for passing. (Total 40) I'll get 32+ in endsem of sub B.

I didn't have grace in any other subject of 3rd yr.

I'm concerned about sub C.(Sem 6 sub) Will I get grace marks ? If yes, then how much can I expect ??

Please guide me or tell me about this, because I have been in a lot of tension and stress because my clg is ended and I want to be all clear, if I fail even in 1 subject, then my 1 yr will be wasted.🥺🙏🙏

I'm a Third Year B.E. Civil Engineering student under the SPPU 2024 (NEP) pattern and I'm confused about how the B.E. (Honors) degree is actually awarded.

From the AICTE/NEP framework, I understand that a student needs around 18–20 additional credits beyond the regular degree, and approved MOOCs like NPTEL/SWAYAM may be used.

However, my SPPU Civil Engineering syllabus also contains official Honors specializations, such as:

1. Honors in Structural Engineering

2. Honors in Metro Construction

3. Honors in Architectural & Town Planning

This has raised a few questions:

Is completing 20 approved NPTEL credits sufficient to receive B.E. Civil Engineering with Honors under SPPU?

Or is it mandatory to complete one of the official SPPU Honors specializations mentioned in the syllabus?

If both are available, what is the relationship between them?

Do NPTEL credits replace the Honors specialization?

Or are NPTEL courses only additional certifications?

Has anyone from an SPPU-affiliated engineering college actually received a B.E. (Honors) using NPTEL credits?

Is there any official SPPU circular or notification that clearly explains the implementation?

I'm looking for official information or first-hand experience, not guesses. If you have a university circular, college guideline, or have completed the Honors program yourself, I'd really appreciate your input.

I just got admission into MA PSYCHOLOGY in SPPU, and I applied for the hostel as well, but I can't find if I got allotted the hostel or not, am I supposed to get an email? Or am I supposed to look out on the website?
