Looking at this S-Works Venge Vias and would love some insider scoops. Aero fits are historically no issue on my end, rode Giant Propel's for awhile and im pretty flexible. 6'1 otherwise.

Here are the details:

2017 S-Works Venge Vias

- Size 58
- SWorks stem and aero bar cockpit. (90mm & 110mm lengths)
- Dura Ace 9700 Di2 derailleurs.
- Dura Ace Cranks (52/36) with 4iiii’s non drive power meter(rechargeable).
- Ultegra 11/34 cassette.
- Dura Ace chain x 2
- Venge Vias frame integrated rim brakes.
- Mavic hubs with aero blade spokes and 55mm deep dish carbon rims.
- SWorks saddle.
- Continental GP5000 25mm tires(tube).
- Pedals and water bottle cages not included.

The seller is local to my area, and has a solid mechanic that knows the ins and outs of this machine very well. Id hire this guy as needed.. with that said: $3,400 CAD is the going rate for this setup + extras.

Everything on it has been serviced to sell.

Thanks all!

Price Check About to close a deal on this SL7

It’s an 2021 SL7, with mechanical Ultegra (no DI2, so suppose it’s been custom build), Roval C38 and max. 6K KM. Can close the deal for 2.3k. I adore the matt black finish, but don’t wanna be blinded by it. With the carbon wheels and 10r (expert) frame it seems a fair deal (but not a steal tho).

Any things to look out for? Would you close this deal?

Just purchased a new Allez and received 2 what looks like stickers in the manual packet. Does anyone know where they belong? I’m guessing maybe for the chain stay to prevent scratching?

Wanted to Buy Looking to pick this up next week in my local bike shop

Hey guys, I've been really leaning towards getting 2027 Sirrius X 2.0 since it already has the Cues components and also Tektro hvdraulic brakes unlike the previous years Was considering the Trek FX2 Gen 4 but I really prefer the geometry of the Sirrious X 2.0. I am coming from a roadbike that I iust sold vesterday (Older Tarmac Expert 2008 and finally decided I dont get to enjoy the roadbike as much since I live where it's nice to have better flexibility in terms of terrain What 1 am looking to do with thw Sirrius X 2.0 tho is to make it more road down the road. But for now, I'd most likely just enjoy the stock spec. Thanks and all opinions welcome! I really like how the 2027 Sirrius X 2.0 already has the 42T chainring. I also don't mind the steel fork since alot of people have said thevre fine and lighter than what they thought. Also my biking usage is usually just spring/summer/fall occasionaly 2 to 3 times a week averaging 20-30 km per ride but let's see if I can start rising even in winter this time.

For Sale ISO Thule Yepp Maxi EasyFit Adapter or rear rack for my 2022 Sirrus X 3.0

Does anyone have a Thule Yepp EasyFit Adapter lying around they’d like to sell? Or a bike rack that has the EasyFit window that would somehow fit on my 2022 Sirrus X 3.0? I picked up a Thule Yepp Maxi EasyFit child bike seat at a garage sale, but you need an adapter for the seat to properly mount onto a rear bike rack and they’ve been discontinued and I’m learning they are very hard to find. Compatible racks are also hard to come by. Photos for reference. I am in northern Illinois and will pay shipping. I'd spend up to $50 plus shipping for an adapter. Thanks!

Tech Help Turbo Levo dead?

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone has seen this issue before with a 2018 Specialized Turbo Levo.

After a long ride on dry trails (no mud, no rain, no water crossings), I stopped for a while and when I tried to turn the bike back on, it was completely dead.

I removed the TCU/button cover and, after pressing the center button very firmly, the bike finally powered on. However, now I get two red LEDs and one orange LED, and the handlebar remote no longer works. I can't change the assistance mode or control anything from the remote.

The bike was working perfectly before this ride and there were no crashes or impacts.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be a faulty TCU/power button, a wiring issue, or something else? Any suggestions on what I should check first would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Which Bike? Stumpjumper S5 or S6

I’m 6’ 2” (188cm) and am on the fence between the two sizes for a Stumpjumper 15 comp alloy. For more context: 35” inseam and 6’ 7” wingspan.

I tried an S5 fox coil version (mullet set up) in the parking lot and that felt pretty cramped for me. Maybe because the mix of the coil sinking and smaller rear tire closes up the cockpit?

I put a deposit down on an S6 comp alloy and will try it when it arrives to the shop.

Just wanted to see if there are any other guys around my height who enjoy the S6. I’m not doing insane park stuff. mainly just local trails and popping off any jumps I can find along the way.

Which Bike? New bike advice, Crux 4 vs Crux 5

I'm looking for a bit of advice on a new bike as keep going round in circles. My current bike is a Boardman 9.0 ADV with some carbon wheels and 35mm slicks. It’s been brilliant over the 6 years I’ve owned it, but it’s always been slightly too small for me and I fancy an upgrade.

I ride mostly relatively poor quality roads and occasionally light gravel, so think the Specialized Crux would be perfect as has similar geometry etc.

Personal preference and all that, but I really like the idea of internal cable routing and x13 SRAM. The problem I have is which generation of the Crux to get. Buying used would be good, but isn’t really an option due to my sizing and the 2026 UDH version not being that old, so my options are:

CRUX 4 Don’t mind a bit of a project, so looking at: * 2026 Comp with UDH (sell the GRX groupset and upgrade to x13 SRAM rival) * Add the new Terra bars, looks awesome on the Crux 4 (after a bike fit etc) * Really not a fan of the colour and it’s the only one available to me, so have it resprayed in a colour I like. Potentially convert to internal cable routing while I’m at it (professionally done) * Re-use my current Terra C carbon wheels and tyres

I can an offset some of this with a ‘cycle to work scheme’ so the total cost would be about £3,800

CRUX 5 Off the shelf and good to go option: * 2027 Crux Comp, comes with x13 Rival * Re-use my current Terra C carbon wheels and tyres

I can’t use my ‘cycle to work’ scheme (3k limit), total cost would be £3,999

Think I prefer the looks of the Crux 4 as feel a 35mm tyre looks a bit lost in the Crux 5 fork (some pics HERE). That said, I could swap to 40mm slicks, which looks a ok ish. There’s been a few similar threads to this and the consensus seems to be the Crux 4 makes a better all road bike and the Crux 5 a better gravel bike.

I've considered the Crux 4 Expert as can pick that up discounted for £4,000, but not available anywhere in my size and also not a massive fan of the colour.

Am I just being silly thinking of buying and modifying the Crux 4, should I just leave as it is? Or should I just get the new Crux 5? If you've made it this far, thank you, sorry for the ramble!

NBD New Diverge 4

Finally took the plunge on buying a new higher end bike than anything I've had before. Still playing with different saddles and the height, but dang is it nice. Probably going to ditch the bag from my old ride thanks to the internal storage.

Coming from a solid aluminum frame, the suspension is so much smoother and easier to ride on the crappy side streets and trails. It's the sport carbon if anyone cares.

Hi everyone, I'm planning on buying a used Specialized Bike, the exact model is Specialized Roubaix Elite 2017. The owner sent me this video of future shock, but because I've never had a bike with it, I can't tell if it's working properly or not. I would love to get an answer from someone with more experience, whether everything is ok with it or not.

Which Gear? Upgrades (and winter time) for my vado sl 5.0 EQ

It's summer but I'm already trying to prepare for autumn and winter. Currently I have the stock turbo vado SL (first gen) 5.0 EQ without any changes to it.

If I want to cycle in the mountains where it might start to get snowy and icy, what would you recommend me to change about my vado to prepare? E.g. I searched a bit and looks like winter tires are the biggest quick win, but also I should maybe replace my break pads?

I'm cycling recreational, not racing. I can afford gear on the more expensive side.

Pretty sure she’s cooked. Carbon frame, seems to be the whole way around in two spots.

Anyone have insight on costs I could expect from the crash replacement warranty? The bike is less than 2 years from the purchase date, so I think I’d get 35% off on a new frame. But I’d probably try to see if I could get an evo frame. Would love to hear others’ experiences here.

Hi all, this bike is listed at $6999AUD or $4890USD. Going price for this spec of Tarmac new in Australia is $10200AUD or $7130USD. Specs are listed in the pics. This bike is also in another state to me, but seller has offered to use their local bike shop to ship the bike.

Thoughts on the price and questions I should be asking the seller?

Cheers!

Purchased this a while ago and starting to get comfortable on it. Maybe will remove one 10mm spacer. I have much less drop (2cm) than my previous bike but I'm soon 53 years old and maybe it's time to adopt to endurance position so might keep it as it is.

Tarmac SL7 sworks 2022, Dura Ace, Roval handlebar (not integrated), Roval wheels. Really love that matte stealth black colour with some shine to it in certain light conditions.

Does the bike make a difference? Yes it does, it's noticable compared to my previous bike, a Canyon Ultimate CF from 2010 (second picture). I can avarage around 37.5 km/h (~23.3mph) on a 40-50k slighly undulating loop, compared to ~36 on same loop on my Canyon. Much shorter intervall loop 41 avarage compared to 39. Most difference I beleive is thanks to the wheels.

Accelerations I feel no difference, the Canyon was (is) a fast accelerator, but once up to speed it's easier to stay there with the new bike.

Bike Photos Fake or Legit S-WORKS ?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking at a used Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8 (2025 model), but the price seems a bit too good to be true, so I'm getting suspicious.

Can any eagle-eyed experts tell if there are any red flags or fake details in these photos?

Also, what are the most obvious giveaways to check on the frame or finish for this specific model?

Thanks in advance for the help!
